[20:27:28] <Kirin> It's saturday! There's no academics class today and it's basically a free day you could use to do anything. Some student uses it self-development, some use it for club activities, and some just use it to play around and not thinking about studying for a day.
[20:27:51] <Blue_> Heylan uses it for self-development. He's boring like that.
[20:28:51] <Kirin> Today, however, at all star dorm, Dorm Manager is holding a folder and call everyone to the dining room. She has something to discuss after breakfast, which consist of light salads, some bacons and eggs, and french toast.
[20:29:55] <Doktor_Q> VV, becoming familiar with eating, has exactly one of everything, and one napkin by mistake.
[20:30:25] <Boy_Named_Sue> Mirai is up early, as usual, having gone for her morning run. She walks in, refreshed and sitting at the table.
[20:33:28] <Kirin> Dorm manager nods at the new arrival.
[20:36:03] <UPDATE_Bread> Iiwinasm arrives half-clothed and disheveled. She slides into a chair and her forehead hits the table. She remains still
[20:36:07] <UPDATE_Bread> .
[20:38:28] <Owen> Alcelstis plods lifelessly into the dining hall, tail dragging limply behind her; she does NOT look very good.  Her cap is tipped harshly down, to cover up her sleep-deprived and bloodshot eyes.  Her old school uniform looks like it hasn't been washed all week, and she looks like she hasn't either; though she's gotten measured for her new uniform, it hasn't arrived yet.
[20:39:14] <Owen> The dragon-girl find a seat as far away from everyone and anyone as possible.  She feels like she's been through the worst week of her life...
[20:39:26] <Kirin> "Oh my. Some thing the matter, you two? I am fine with relationship between students, but please keep it in moderation."
[20:40:02] <Kirin> "Do it too often and it would affect your health."
[20:40:03] <Doktor_Q> "Did you lose again?" VV asks Alcelstis
[20:40:19] <Boy_Named_Sue> Mirai blinks at the arrivals, and sighs as she eats a grapefruit, section by section.
[20:41:01] <Owen> Alcel doesn't have the energy to argue with the dorm manager right now.  She's just trying very hard to not fall asleep.
[20:41:53] <Kirin> "Sigh... these kids..."
[20:42:12] <Owen> "Up all night, working..." she mutters to VV, not really wanting to make eye contact.  "Hate doing assignments on the weekends."
[20:42:40] <Doktor_Q> "Assignments?"
[20:42:43] <Kirin> The air around Dorm Manager seems to phase a bit, and after what appears to be a short distortion, Dorm Manager is now holding a hot towel.
[20:43:01] <Kirin> "Here. Wipe your face. It should help." She offer it to the two.
[20:43:14] <Owen> Alcelstis pulls a plate of bacon towards her and starts eating them like they were french fries.
[20:44:21] <Owen> "Whut, youf don't haff asshingmenfts in yur cfasses?" she asks with her mouth full.
[20:44:53] <UPDATE_Bread> Iiwinasm may very well have died at some point. She's certainly still enough
[20:45:47] <Kirin> "Alright, for all that are still alive and capable of hearing... there's something I was asked to inform you today."
[20:45:55] <Doktor_Q> "They are to be completed immediately after each class to ensure knowledge retention," VV says as she nods.
[20:46:04] <Owen> Alcelstis fumbles for the proffered hot towel and cradles it against her head like a pillow.
[20:46:24] <Kirin> She put a folder onto the table. it's a generic brown folder with an amber stamp.
[20:46:55] <Boy_Named_Sue> Mirai is the first to pick it up and open it. "What's this?"
[20:47:25] <Kirin> "I know this party is authorized to take silver class request, but I'd like you to try doing a bronze class request first."
[20:47:40] <Kirin> "...quoting directly from Headmaster here."
[20:48:13] <Doktor_Q> "A request?" VV asks
[20:48:37] <Kirin> "There's a request for help exterminating monster that's been bothering a Ryokan outside of town. Please take this request."
[20:49:40] <Boy_Named_Sue> Mirai's nose scrunches a bit. "Bronze requests don't give as many merits as Silver requests though... why do we have to do this when practically every other team in the class is Bronze?
[20:49:50] <Kirin> In the folder contains the map, and the basic mission requirement as described by the requester.
[20:49:51] <Owen> "What, like NOW?" Alcelstis asks.
[20:50:30] <UPDATE_Bread> There's a faint groan from Iiwi
[20:50:39] <Kirin> "Yes Alcy. We march this morning!" Dorm manager cheers!
[20:51:20] <Kirin> "I am not sure... but if headmaster says so I guess I won't question her logic."
[20:51:26] <Doktor_Q> VV stands on her chair and bends at the waist to lean over the table, scanning the papers.
[20:51:53] <Owen> Alcelstis looks around the room.  One person looks dead, one person looks non-existent, and she doesn't exactly feel up to much at the moment either.
[20:52:31] <Owen> "Who's this 'WE' you're talking about?  Doesn't look like much WE at this hour.  Could've warned us."
[20:54:00] <Owen> Alcelstis has already finished the plate of bacon and sees if there's another one.
[20:54:06] <Boy_Named_Sue> For once, Mirai agrees with Alcelstis. "Seriously... this isn't right. I had plans for today!"
[20:54:07] <Kirin> "No danger would come with a warning two days in advance." She says, serious.
[20:54:52] <UPDATE_Bread> "Jobs will." Iiwi groans, throatily. "Is there coffee?" She doesn't lift her own head to check.
[20:54:53] <Kirin> "if it happens, it happens. Do you think Academy of Darkness would send you two days notice if they are going to attack?"
[20:55:00] <Doktor_Q> "Let's go!" VV cheers, having memorized the documents!"
[20:55:30] <Kirin> Dorm manager, while still briefing, get some black coffee for Alcy.
[20:56:29] <Owen> "Actually, they WOULD.  And then they'd attack at sundown the same day."
[20:57:52] <Owen> "So you're saying you're trying to be like my old school, then?  There's a reason I left, y'know."  Alcelstis yawns.  She knows she's not going to talk her way out of this, but she's got a lot on her mind right now, and this thing isn't one of them.
[20:58:48] <Kirin> "I am not the one doing it for one. Still, if you all are really against this I'll just... go tell the Headmaster that you are not taking this because you want free time."
[20:59:01] <Kirin> "If that's what you really want...?"
[20:59:52] <UPDATE_Bread> Iiwinasm mutters something probably best left unheard into the cup of coffee in her hands. When did she get it? Who can say.
[21:01:59] <Doktor_Q> "Let's go~!" VV cheers, grabbing Alcel and Iiwi by the shoulders and shaking them. Her movements are still a bit lurching, but they've gotten better since whatever the nurse did.
[21:02:22] <Kirin> At the end of document, it is noted that the reward for helping out is one free night stay at the ryokan for the party taking the request.
[21:02:52] <Owen> Alcelstis can't find any more bacon, and settles for a stack of french toast instead.  Again, she doesn't really have the energy to resist VV's exuberance, and wobbles around in her seat.
[21:04:00] <Owen> "Will you please STOP?!" she hisses at VV, swatting her with a piece of toast.
[21:05:03] <Doktor_Q> She stops abruptly, arm stiffening like a steel rod. She looks at where she was hit with the bread.
[21:05:04] <Kirin> Dorm manager looks troubled at the rate of Bacon consumption. She prepared extra, but still not enough.
[21:07:56] <Boy_Named_Sue> Mirai seems almost zen-like in how she's ignoring the chaos between Alcelstis and VV. She's staring at the remaining documents in the folder, running the numbers and possibilities through her head, with her foremost concern being...  HER GRADE.
[21:08:40] <UPDATE_Bread> Iiwinasm flops bonelessly as she's shaken, but the coffee doesn't spill. "VV, please, save it for beeed..." She whines a little, unable to drink her coffee like this.
[21:09:21] <Doktor_Q> "They have beds there!" She replies, pushing Iiwi towards the paper with the inn's details on it.
[21:09:30] <Kirin> The grade won't skyrocket, but it would be better than doing nothing.
[21:12:59] <Owen> "Nngggh, do we have to decide NOW?" Alcelstis asks, reaching for pitcher of iced tea.
[21:14:00] <Kirin> You notice that the dorm manager looks a tad bit fading, and the sound of cooking can be heard in the kitchen.
[21:14:23] <Kirin> "The faster the better."
[21:14:38] <Doktor_Q> "Let's do it!"
[21:17:31] <UPDATE_Bread> Iiwinasm consults the paper presented to her, for want of an alternative. And then pauses, considering. "...maybe we should." She suggests, looking at Alcestis.
[21:19:03] <Owen> Alcelstis looks at Iiwi with sad, bloodshot eyes.  She pushes the pitcher of iced tea towards the chimera girl.
[21:19:07] <Boy_Named_Sue> The gears in Mirai's head seem to be turning as well. "Hey, don't we get extra credit if we agree to perform requests during off-school hours?"
[21:19:38] <Owen> "You'll have to throw that in my face, then," the dragon-girl wearily responds.
[21:21:12] <Kirin> "I think so? I am not faculsty staff so I am not really sure..."
[21:21:26] <Doktor_Q> VV pauses for a moment and creases her brow. It takes two seconds to come to a decision, pick Alcel's head up by the scruff, and attempt to shove it into the Iced Tea
[21:23:35] <Owen> The pitcher is not actually big enough for the dragon's head to fit in it, and her face/snout just gets uncomfortable wedged into the vessel, the iced tea splashing up her nostrils.
[21:24:16] <UPDATE_Bread> Iiwinasm snags the tea, seasoned with dragon, and pours a measure into her coffee.
[21:24:22] <UPDATE_Bread> "VV, be nice."
[21:25:17] <Doktor_Q> "I am attempting to fulfill her request," VV replies. She turns to Alcel. "Your face is too large."
[21:26:48] <Owen> Alcelstis coughs and sputters, tiny puffs of flame exiting out of her mouth as tea drips down her face.
[21:27:43] <Owen> "I said--HOUGH EKOUGH-- I asked HER to do it, damn it!  What sort of fucking literal interpretation was THAT?!"
[21:28:21] <Owen> "Throw THAT in my face, not throw MY FACE in that!"
[21:28:42] <Doktor_Q> "That would waste the tea, so I made a correction."
[21:28:42] <Owen> Alcelstis throws the rest of the iced tea in VV's face.
[21:28:52] <Owen> "See, like THAT!"
[21:29:08] <Doktor_Q> The girl doesn't even blink. "Professor said it is bad to waste."
[21:30:08] <Boy_Named_Sue> Mirai is beside herself at this point, leaning away from the HUGE MESS Alcelstis and VV are making. "Wh-what the hell is wrong with you two?!
[21:31:04] <Doktor_Q> VV considers. "I am wet."
[21:31:35] <Owen> Alcelstis wipes her face off with the hot towel.  "And I'm awake."
[21:31:51] <Doktor_Q> "Then there are no problems."
[21:32:16] <Owen> Alcelstis hands VV the towel.
[21:32:17] <Kirin> "............Children."
[21:32:46] <Kirin> Dorm manager is behind VV, smiling.
[21:33:06] <Kirin> "CLEAN EVERYTHING UP. OR ELSE."
[21:33:48] <Doktor_Q> She wipes her face, eyes, and the seams of her body. "Yes!" She accepts the manager's request.
[21:35:44] <Owen> Aleclstis stands up.  "You know, I'd hate to, but apparently there's a monster rampaging the fuck out of a ryokan outside of town.  We should probably look into that first."
[21:35:53] <Owen> "The faster, the better~"
[21:36:26] <Doktor_Q> VV is already doing the cleaning, anyway
[21:36:38] <Kirin> "oh you cheeky little bi---" Dorm manager clamps the hand onto her mouth, stopping short.
[21:39:48] <Owen> The dragon-girl smirks, as she helps VV clean.  Mission accomplished~
[21:43:42] <UPDATE_Bread> Iiwinasm takes a moment to evaluate her odds of a rub-down if she were to 'accidentally' spill some tea on herself. On the one hand, VV might actually do it. On the other, Alcelstis needs a bit of a delicate touch in her handling... She decides not to. Too risky. Instead, she watches the two clean.
[21:44:24] <Blue_> Heylan wanders into the mess hall, looking a bit sleepy. He's wearing his casual clothes rather than his armor, and immediately goes for the coffee.
[21:44:49] <Kirin> "Black or sugar?" asked the dorm manager.
[21:45:41] <Blue_> "Black."
[21:46:27] <Kirin> She appreciates Heylan coming in to watch over these monkeys. One cup of black coffee now in Heylan's hand.
[21:47:53] <Blue_> Heylan brings it to his lips, tilts his head back, and doesn't stop until the entire mug is drained. He holds out the mug again for a second cup.
[21:48:21] <Kirin> And it is quickly refilled.
[21:48:45] <Blue_> And it vanishes again just as quickly.
[21:48:47] <Boy_Named_Sue> Mirai visibly perks up at Heylan's appearance as well. "Heylan, what do you think about this request? It's Bronze-level, even though we're approved for Silver, but we might be able to get extra credit because it's a weekend."
[21:49:14] <UPDATE_Bread> "My, you seem eager to serve him." Iiwi observes. "Are you one of his fans as well?" She teases.
[21:50:45] <Kirin> "It's just very fun to see black coffee being drained that fast."
[21:50:54] <Kirin> "I wonder if he ever sleep?"
[21:51:44] <Boy_Named_Sue> Mirai spins around at Iiwin. "W-wait, what? I am NOT! It's just that he's the only other competent member of this team! Except for MAYBE the robot over there.", she snips back, before turning up her nose.
[21:51:54] <Blue_> "It's something that needs to be done," he says to Mirai, seeming much more awake.
[21:52:03] <Owen> Alcelstis finds a pitcher of water and rubs some of it on her face, in a vague attempt to cancel out the tea and get a more proper wake-up-splash-to-the-face.
[21:54:51] <UPDATE_Bread> "Tsk." Iiwinasm clucks her tongue. "You'll see for yourself, soon enough, I suppose." She doesn't waste too much time correcting the girl. She has targets she's working on already - and this one seems like one to crack through actions, rather than words anyway.
[21:58:28] <Kirin> "Alright. I'll go submit the documents. You kids go ahead and travel to the Ryokan."
[21:59:11] <Kirin> She set down the plate of bacon. She stops fading now.
[22:00:53] <Owen> Alcel points to the plate.  "Are you going to eat that?"
[22:01:26] <Kirin> "Me? Oh my, of course not. This is a refill in case anyone haven't had any."
[22:01:30] <UPDATE_Bread> "Yes." Iiwi answers, blandly, "But I'll share?" A winning grin.
[22:01:45] <Doktor_Q> VV is already primed to leave. Food is more of an indulgence for her than a necessity, anyway.
[22:01:49] <Kirin> "I eat children's tears for breakfast♥"
[22:02:13] <Kirin> "Just kidding♥"
[22:03:19] <Blue_> Heylan starts in on the bacon. You need at least something to start your day.
[22:04:26] <UPDATE_Bread> Iiwi snags a solid portion for herslf. And perhaps some for Alcel, as well~
[22:06:55] <Boy_Named_Sue> Mirai finishes her grapefruit and decides to get ready to leave. She's still somewhat disheveled from her morning run, so she heads up to take a shower and get dressed and geared up.

[22:09:51] <Kirin> You all arrived at the Ryokan (Hot Spring Inn) outside of town. It's pretty far out in the wood, but the scenery is very refreshing. Greenery, mountain range, small stream nearby. Perfect place to relax and unwind.
[22:10:42] <Kirin> It looks to be in decent shape, sans the big gaping hole with emergency boarded wall on the side, that looks like something just ram it open.
[22:10:47] <Doktor_Q> VV is scanning for the threats mentioned by the mission, in case they run into them!
[22:11:05] <Kirin> A voice greets you. "Oy, are you kids the one from academy?"
[22:11:36] <Doktor_Q> VV pivots to face it
[22:11:47] <Kirin> A middle-aged man comes out of the window on the second floor, with shotgun in hand.
[22:11:51] <Owen> "Something like that," Alcel answers.
[22:12:03] <Kirin> "Thank god they finally send someone here. Come in!"
[22:13:07] <Kirin> You are all invited inside, where you meet with the guy, and what appears to be his wife and his little son.
[22:13:38] <Kirin> "Thanks for coming. They just caved our ryokan wall yesterday, so I think it's past the point where I can handle it."
[22:14:32] <Doktor_Q> VV waits for him to explain what "they" are exactly, or instruct her to crush something.
[22:14:45] <Owen> "Wait, YESTERDAY?"  Alcelstis raises an eyebrow.  "Then where are they now?"
[22:14:50] <Blue_> "So you've gotten a good look at it then?"
[22:16:00] <Kirin> "Nay. they come last night when it's really dark. Fired a few rounds at them."
[22:16:10] <Kirin> "I know there's lots of them, and they are pretty big."
[22:16:33] <Kirin> The son hold his pet pig close, not saying anything.
[22:17:05] <Boy_Named_Sue> Mirai decides to look around outside, scouting and getting a good lay of the surrounding area.
[22:17:18] <Kirin> "They will come again today, I'm sure of it!" said the wife.
[22:17:36] <Owen> "You mean tonight."
[22:17:46] <Kirin> mirai : discern realities with +WIS.
[22:18:53] <Blue_> Heylan nods. "Do you know they're after?"
[22:19:55] <Kirin> Mirai : Nothing comes to mind, as you seems to have a hard time reading all the tracks outside.
[22:20:08] <Owen> Alcelstis rubs her face.  "Tonight as in, it's morning right now."
[22:20:47] <Kirin> "No idea. They just decide to ram my ryokan wall hard for some reason."
[22:21:02] <Kirin> "I don't think there's anything demonic or valuable here for em to want it?"
[22:21:26] <Kirin> The pet pig looks up at you Heylan. it oinks.
[22:21:49] <Doktor_Q> VV stares at it, checking it against known foods.
[22:22:15] <Blue_> "So all you really know is that there's a great number of them, and that they sometimes decide to attack?" Heylan presses, trying to see if there's anything useful to be gained from talking to these people.
[22:23:58] <Owen> Alcelstis grumbles.  She got dragged out of bed for THIS?  She couldn't imagine a more imperfect end to her imperfect week.  She decides to stare at the hole in the wall instead, contemplating her life choices.
[22:25:06] <Boy_Named_Sue> Not seeing anything of note, nor any particularly advantageous places to set up a defensive position, Mirai heads back inside to talk strategy with Heylan.
[22:25:20] <Kirin> "Yeah. I dunno, There's a few things that happens yesterday. My wife cooking a new recipe, my son got a pet pig, and me trying to divert the stream into our water supply a bit..."
[22:26:53] <Blue_> Heylan blinks. "Well, either that pig is some creature possessed with misfortune, or diverting the stream angered something." He seems to consider both equally likely.
[22:27:23] <Kirin> "This is my pig!"
[22:27:29] <Kirin> The kid yells at you.
[22:27:32] <UPDATE_Bread> "...Maybe the recipe, as well." Iiwinasm shrugs. "Any unusual ingredients in it? Uncommon scents to it?"
[22:28:02] <Kirin> "She tries seasoning a fish recipe with new deepweed she got from peddlers."
[22:28:26] <Kirin> "It smells really good." The wife adds.
[22:29:21] <Blue_> "Do you have anything left of the meal?" He asks.
[22:29:27] <UPDATE_Bread> "Could have attracted something." Iiwinasm nods, "Even normally intelligent beings can be driven to do strange things that way." She nods, knowledgeably.
[22:29:56] <Kirin> "No, but we do have the weed left."
[22:30:58] <Blue_> Heylan nods. "Bring the weed and the pig outside, and follow me."
[22:31:12] <Doktor_Q> VV stares ahead, steam wafting from her head as unfamiliar terms and ideas fly past from all sides.
[22:31:17] <Kirin> he ushers his wife to get it for you. after a short bit, she comes back with the jar of weed.
[22:31:33] <Kirin> The boy carry up his piglet and goes outside with his mom.
[22:31:48] <Owen> Alcelstis walks over to VV and puts a hand on her shoulder.
[22:31:58] <Doktor_Q> VV turns to her
[22:33:13] <Owen> "Is your time and emotional effort feeling utterly wasted, under-appreciated, and taken advantage of right now?"
[22:33:46] <Blue_> "Place the pig there," he points a distance ahead of him, to his right, "And the weed there." He points to his left, keeping his back to the river.
[22:34:05] <Doktor_Q> "What?" VV stares at her uncomprehendingly
[22:34:17] <Kirin> "Uh, what?"
[22:34:34] <Kirin> The man seems to not understand.
[22:34:38] <Blue_> "Trust me."
[22:34:45] <UPDATE_Bread> "Join the club." Iiwi pats Alcel as she walks by - safely above the base of her tail, which is just about as high as she can reach, somewhere in the lower back.
[22:35:12] <Kirin> He nods once, and the son put his pet ig on the ground. The wife putting the weed nearby and open the jar.
[22:35:35] <Owen> "Oh good, then it's not just me."
[22:36:20] <Owen> Alcelstis doesn't really react to being patted.  "...wanna fix that fuck-ugly hole patch?"
[22:36:28] <Blue_> Heylan holds his sword aloft, letting the sun glint off the blade. "The light's reflection will show the path we must take." (Casting a spell: Guidance!)
[22:36:51] <UPDATE_Bread> "You good with your hands?" Iiwi asks, evaluatingly.
[22:37:28] <Kirin> The beam of light shines on the pig for a brief moment, then disappears.
[22:37:40] <Kirin> it oinks in surprise.
[22:40:10] <Doktor_Q> VV volunteers herself for work! But, having no idea what to do, she waits for instructions
[22:41:26] <Boy_Named_Sue> Mirai arrives inside to see Heylan doing the paladin thing, and waits for him to finish before approaching.
[22:41:53] <Owen> Alcelstis responds by lifting her two arms over her head.  As she moves her arms up, her hands disappear into mirage-like hazy portals, only to reappear resting on Iiwi's chest.  Honk honk~
[22:42:14] <Owen> "Better than you."
[22:44:27] <Kirin> The piglet perks its ears and look at the forest intently.
[22:44:34] <Blue_> Heylan sheaths his sword. "The pig is the one drawing the creatures close."
[22:44:58] <Kirin> The ground rumbles, and the pig lets out a loud oink!
[22:44:59] <UPDATE_Bread> "Oho~" Iiwi's smile only grows smokier and more sultry. "I think that's certainly a question the two of us should settle between ourselves." She sighs, however, "But first, I suppose we should take care of it."
[22:45:14] <Kirin> The boy comes in and sweeps up his piglet and run back to the house!
[22:45:43] <Kirin> "Wait, wha..? Earthquake?!"
[22:45:56] <Kirin> the man tries to stay steady on his feet and support his wife.
[22:46:01] <Owen> Alcelstis' hands return to her wrists.  "Beats sitting on our asses."
[22:46:12] <Owen> "Waiting for shit to go down."
[22:46:45] <Kirin> The ground rumbles and shakes louder. Something is approaching.
[22:47:20] <Doktor_Q> VV perks up. "A giant foe is approaching."
[22:47:21] <Owen> Alcelstis feels the ground start to shake, and turns around.  "Shit's going down behind us, isn't it?"
[22:47:23] <Blue_> Heylan draws his sword and shield, facing the forest, prepared for the worst.
[22:49:16] <Boy_Named_Sue> Mirai draws her Casters and whispers to them, before levelling them towards the forest.  "Scattershot Rounds.", the electonic voice drones softly.
[22:49:42] <Kirin> A cloud of dust kicks off in the distance.
[22:50:20] <Owen> "Well, beats patching a hole in the wall," Alcel comments.  "VV, now's the time you're supposed to tell me to keep my ass behind yours."
[22:50:21] <Doktor_Q> She decides to burst through the patch, deeming it the best route for damage/speed efficiency, shifting into full combat mode.
[22:50:24] <Blue_> "Get inside the house," Heylan orders the townsfolk.
[22:50:24] <Boy_Named_Sue> "Heylan, we don't have any secure defensive position!", Mirai remarks, crouching low in the absence of any decent cover.
[22:50:51] <Kirin> the Ryokan family goes back into the house!
[22:51:53] <Owen> Alcelstis peels back more of the cheap boarding so that she can get out of the much smaller hole VV left.
[22:52:50] <Owen> "Okay, who fucked up?" Alcelstis shouts from behind Heylan and Mirai as she sees the two preparing for some kind of combat.
[22:53:30] <Kirin> From the cloud of dust, you see hoard of charging black tusked boars of various size going directly at you and the ryokan! there seems to be more than 10!
[22:53:55] <Doktor_Q> VV rushes headlong at them to meet the charge!
[22:56:44] <Kirin> please define the party position against the incoming charges!

[22:58:54] <Kirin> The gust of violent winds blows from behind heylan into the charging razortusks pack! it slows down immensely, and is now in a staring contest with you from afar!
[22:59:31] <Doktor_Q> She also halts at Heylan's shout, unsure who the order is for.
[22:59:35] <UPDATE_Bread> Iiwinasm takes a mid-range skirmisher's position. She can engage with both spell and blade, and so she keeps a bit of distance, so she can react where needed
[22:59:51] <Blue_> " Boy, " Heylan continues, eyes glowing with a white, divine fire. " Bring your pet outside."

[23:00:27] <Kirin> He tucks his pet close in his hakama, not letting it go.
[23:00:44] <UPDATE_Bread> "...I could..?" Iiwi jerks her head over towards the boy, leaving it only as an implication.
[23:01:19] <Kirin> The boars starts making way to the side, as something way bigger is approaching.
[23:01:22] <Blue_> "Do so."
[23:01:38] <Owen> Alcelstis' eyes shift between the pack of boars and the pet piglet, getting the jist of the situation pretty quickly.
[23:02:12] <Kirin> Now appears before you the biggest Razortusk boar you have ever seen. it towers almost 3 meters tall, and its scars proves its veterancy of combat.
[23:02:23] <UPDATE_Bread> Iiwi moves over to the boy, face soft despite the horns and other inhuman atributes.  "...Boy, you need to let it go." She cajoles, softly.
[23:02:33] <Kirin> it roars angrily.
[23:03:00] <Doktor_Q> VV feels her first genuine surge of excitement, joints wirring to life, preparing for maximum output
[23:03:02] <Kirin> "But he loves me! He comes to me! We are friends for life!"
[23:03:10] <Owen> "He needs to let it go NOW!" Alcelstis shouts, still keeping in range of the pack.
[23:03:21] <Kirin> he curls over, protecting the piglet with his body.
[23:03:38] <Owen> "His life is over in about thirty seconds!"
[23:04:15] <Blue_> "Boy, I do not intend to take him away from you."
[23:04:48] <UPDATE_Bread> She sighs, and picks the boy up by the back of his clothing. "This is kind of important." She points out. "You enjoy having a house, yes? And being alive?"
[23:05:14] <Owen> Alcelstis rubs her fingers together, producing a small ball of fire that she palms in her hand.  Just in case...
[23:05:18] <Kirin> "Lies! You are academy people! You are so bloody good! Just kill it! You guys can do it right?!"
[23:05:39] <Kirin> "Son! Listen to the knight and let it go!" His dad picks up the signal of what's wrong.
[23:06:17] <UPDATE_Bread> This is easier and safer, Iiwinasm doesn't say. "...That wouldn't be the right thing to do." She cajoles, lying through her teeth with no hint of shame.
[23:06:23] <Kirin> He is trashing and kicking and crying in Iiwinasm's grip.
[23:07:14] <Kirin> The biggest boars gives out a large roars, and the rest of them goes into formation, ready to charge again...!
[23:08:42] <UPDATE_Bread> Iiwi seriously considers breaking the kid's fingers.
[23:09:01] <Owen> "Oh fuck me."  Alcelstis breaks off and heads over to Iiwi, clearly having some trouble.  "Need some good hands?"
[23:09:53] <UPDATE_Bread> "I don't want to do anything drastic." She explains, with a minute motion towards the child's family, watching the showdown - and paying their bill, in the end.
[23:10:01] <Owen> "I can get the pig if you can keep him still."
[23:10:29] <UPDATE_Bread> Iiwi obligingly adjusts her grip, to immobilize the boy.
[23:10:39] <Kirin> The boy is immobilized!
[23:10:57] <Owen> "So keep him still, damn it."  Alcelstis reaches in to wrestle the pig away from the kid, not caring about being gentle.
[23:11:02] <Kirin> You have only a sliver of time to do whatever the hell you are going to do!
[23:11:27] <Kirin> Alcy : roll defy danger strength!
[23:12:32] <Kirin> You manage to wrestle the terrified piglet from the boy!
[23:14:29] <Owen> Alcelstis spins around with the pigskin tucked in her arms, and sees the distance she needs to cover.  Running isn't fast enough for her right now...
[23:14:40] <Doktor_Q> VV is open!
[23:14:43] <Boy_Named_Sue> Mirai still has her Casters pointed and ready to fire on the boars if they continue their approach.
[23:15:05] <Owen> She grits her teeth and tries to flash-boil her blood just enough for one quick jump...!
[23:15:23] <Blue_> Heylan holds his hand out for the pig.
[23:20:10] <Owen> Alcelstis glances at Heylan's outstretched arms, and frowns, shaking her head.  "You're not fast enough.  I'LL be the one taking it from here."
[23:21:20] <Blue_> Heylan makes a vaguely annoyed expression at her, since there's no time to be squabbling.
[23:21:42] <Owen> She can feel hot blood running through her wings and unfurls them to twice their normal size as she dashes out from the inn, snapping them to the ground in a massive leap towards the boars!  But something seems off...
[23:23:01] <Owen> One of her wings looks positively shriveled by comparison, and her jump quickly turns into a mad careening spiral!  She can already tell she's not going to enjoy this landing and she squints her eyes shut.  It's what she gets for rushing it...
[23:23:49] <Owen> Her grip tightens around the pig as the blood burns around her.

[23:32:10] <Owen> Alcelstis' bust is a warm airbag of protection and bacon.
[23:32:27] <Kirin> The piglet oinks and quickly get away from her, running towards the horde!
[23:33:31] <Owen> The dragon girl rolls groggily from her back to her knees, realizing that she's now surrounded by razortusk boars.
[23:33:39] <UPDATE_Bread> Iiwinasm raises an eyebrow. She's still got the boy in her hands.
[23:33:58] <Blue_> Heylan waits. If the horde continues their fight now that their reason to has been removed, then he will defend the house, but until then, he waits.
[23:34:10] <Doktor_Q> VV is ready to dive smash the first hostile.
[23:34:21] <Kirin> the piglet nudges itself onto the Gigaboar's leg.
[23:34:35] <Kirin> it sat down and nudge its tusk at the small one lovingly.
[23:35:12] <Kirin> The rest of the boar seems to lost its will to fight, and just walk around nudging each others and maybe digging roots nearby.
[23:35:32] <Owen> Alcelstis tries to clear her head, remaining motionless.  Damn it, razortusk boars.  What's the best way to show affection to them again...?
[23:35:34] <Kirin> The imminent threat seems to be no more.
[23:35:50] <Blue_> Heylan motions for Iiwi to release the boy, and the boy to approach him.
[23:36:31] <UPDATE_Bread> Iiwi sets the boy on his feet, one hand still on him to make sure he doesn't do anything foolish.
[23:36:45] <Kirin> he sniffles and walk over to Heylan.
[23:37:13] <Owen> The dragon shrugs as she notices the boars starting to meander off, getting to her feet and checking herself out.  Probably some bruises she'll be feeling later today, but nothing broken this time.
[23:37:45] <Blue_> He gets down on one knee to get eye level with him, places his hand on his shoulder, and whispers to him "Fetch your pet's favorite food, and come back here."
[23:38:40] <Kirin> "i... I have it...."
[23:38:55] <Kirin> he produces a stick of sliced cucumber from his pocket.
[23:39:16] <Blue_> Heylan smiles at him. "Approach slowly, and offer it to them."
[23:39:16] <Kirin> The gigaboar looks at you angrily, Alcy.
[23:39:58] <Kirin> The boy nods, and slowly approaches the horde. The piglet, seeing the boy, separates itself from the big guy and run back to him, rubbing his leg.
[23:40:14] <Owen> Alcelstis looks at the boar and spreads her hands out.  "Well, what is it?"
[23:40:30] <Kirin> he sit down and gives the piglet some sliced cucumber. it happily eats.
[23:40:38] <Blue_> Heylan makes sure to stay a short distance away, as to not frighten the pig, but to be able to leap to the boy's defense if needed.
[23:41:08] <Kirin> The gigaboar put its snout under your back and violently shoves you away.
[23:42:27] <Owen> Alcelstis is happy to be alive.  She walks back to what remains of the front line.
[23:42:35] <Kirin> The gigaboar now looks at the boy and steadily approaching, causing the boy to startle.
[23:42:51] <Kirin> "OH NO MY SON!" Screams the wife.
[23:43:25] <Owen> Alcelstis sighs and looks at VV.  "Oh wait, SORRY VV," she says in a tone of extreme sarcasm.  "I didn't listen to you; I TOTALLY didn't stay behind you like you asked."
[23:43:28] <Blue_> Heylan holds his hand up, for the wife to wait, hoping the boy understood what he meant by 'them.'
[23:43:34] <Owen> "Guess I fucked up again."
[23:44:58] <Kirin> The boar stares the boy down, and after the long wait, it just turn its back and walk off.
[23:45:10] <Kirin> The boy slumps over, terrified.
[23:45:26] <Kirin> The piglet still munches on cucumber stick happily without a care in the world.
[23:45:49] <Doktor_Q> "Your failure did not compromise the objective. Probably. You are getting better at failing." She eyes the warped wings and skid marks.
[23:47:46] <Kirin> "Oh thank you! Thank you so much!" The man goes around the place hugging all of you really tightly.
[23:48:03] <Kirin> He does also hug heylan, though very awkwardly.
[23:48:19] <Owen> "You mean I'm getting WORSE at it," she responds, flexing her bad wing and trying to rustle out the kinks.
[23:48:27] <Kirin> "But... will they come back again?" Ask the wife.
[23:48:54] <UPDATE_Bread> Iiwi doesn't interject - after she gets laid, she can be sassy, AFTER.
[23:49:12] <Doktor_Q> "No, you are definitely improving."
[23:49:36] <Blue_> "It's very likely," Heylan confirms to the wife. "I would imagine the piglet would want to visit your son from time to time, but I doubt there will be any violence."
[23:50:28] <Kirin> "So he's a friend, not a pet." The boy said. "Mm. Got it."
[23:52:35] <Kirin> "You are all welcome to use our Ryokan for the weekends! I'll put good words for you all in the report, too! This is so great!"
[23:52:44] <Kirin> The man is really happy about the outcome.
[23:53:16] <Owen> "I'm improving at getting WORSE, or I'm improving at getting BETTER?" Alcel asks VV.
[23:54:03] <Doktor_Q> "...I don't understand," VV complains after a few moments, brow furrowed. Hakase seems to have been hard at work on paradox coping methods.
[23:54:33] <Blue_> Heylan smiles at the man and nods. "Thank you. I'm just glad this could be settled peacefully."
[23:55:02] <Kirin> "Please come in and make yourself at home! I'll go get the carpenter or something!"
[23:55:45] <Owen> Alcelstis nods and holds up a finger in front of VV as she crouches down.  "That's fine.  Just repeat after me:  Common is an inefficient and ambiguous language."
[23:56:26] <UPDATE_Bread> Iiwinasm joins the two, nodding. "Isn't it just? Infernal is soooo much easier!"
[23:56:35] <Doktor_Q> "Hakase said not to swear," she replies, and walks back through the hole she made in the patch.

[00:05:13] <Kirin> The owner put you in the most luxurious course this place could offer. Freshly made river fish, cozy, comfortable yet traditional-styled room, a rather loose yukata for all of you to wear, slippers, and also ping-pong table.
[00:05:49] <Kirin> After dinnertime, the owner tells you all that the onsen is ready. It's separated male/female, so no worries!
[00:06:05] <UPDATE_Bread> Iiwi wears hers tastefully loose, just enough to hint and tease and intrigue~
[00:06:08] <Kirin> "Though only one layer of bamboo wall separating the two" said the boy.
[00:07:00] <Doktor_Q> VV has finally figured out how to wear a Yukata without her normal outfit underneath, and seems to be figity.
[00:08:52] <Blue_> Heylan wears his, though it's tight across the chest and shoulders.
[00:09:35] <Owen> Alcelstis is still fumbling with her new clothes in her room.  While the new clothes are a nice gesture, not only are they not designed with draconic appendages in mind, she can tell just by touching the cloth that her rough skin is going to catch on it in twenty different places.
[00:10:11] <Boy_Named_Sue> Mirai seems to be in her glory, even having done her very-long hair up in a traditional bun.
[00:10:29] <UPDATE_Bread> There's a knocking on her door. "Would you...like a hand? I know how it can be..." It's Iiwinasm.
[00:10:59] <Doktor_Q> VV also has her hair down- its in a tight braid so often it's pretty crinkled when hanging loose.
[00:11:09] <Boy_Named_Sue> She walks into the room, seeing Heylan from behind and stopping short.
[00:12:31] <Blue_> Heylan's back is turned to her!
[00:13:21] <Owen> "Oh I'm SURE you'd love to give me a hand," Alcel mutters from the other side of the door.  She's currently got her old school uniform on again, which the innkeeper's wife /tried/ to wash while she was bathing.  Kind of hard to wash leather, though.
[00:14:15] <Owen> "What's the point of these, anyways?  Isn't the whole point of a bath to NOT wear clothes?"
[00:14:29] <UPDATE_Bread> "Oh, come now~" Iiwinasm says, "My sister has big wings, I can totally help~!"
[00:15:03] <Boy_Named_Sue> Without other things on her mind to focus on, Mirai's imagination starts to race from seeing the boy's broad shoulders and muscular figure. She closes her eyes and shakes her head, trying to brush off the errant thoughts!
[00:15:34] <Doktor_Q> VV tries to figure out the purpose of a pingpong paddle.
[00:16:01] <Blue_> Heylan seems to be heading to the men's bath already! He must have showered quickly.
[00:16:53] <Doktor_Q> She seems to have decided it's a kind of small throwing hatchet, and is looking for a target.
[00:17:50] <Momizi> There's a dart board at the end of the recreation room.
[00:18:31] <Doktor_Q> She tries hefting a paddle at the dart board. Nevermind that despite her understanding of throwing axes, she's never  used  one before.
[00:18:36] <Owen> Alcelstis gives up on the yukata.  "Your sister didn't have this skin.  My skin EATS clothes.  Trust me.  I had a very fucking embarrassing first two months of school."
[00:19:31] <UPDATE_Bread> "My sister sometimes catches fire by mistake! I have some experience!" Iiwi protests. "You'd look so good in it, you have to give it a try..."
[00:19:47] <Owen> She slides open her room door so at least she and Iiwi aren't talking through wood.
[00:20:24] <Momizi> The paddle plonks off the board helplessly.
[00:20:36] <Boy_Named_Sue> Relaxing a little without Heylan there to distract her, Mirai's attention ends up settling on VV. She watches silently as the robot tries to play darts with a ping-pong paddle.
[00:20:37] <Owen> "You didn't answer my question.  What's the point of putting it ON if I'm just going to take it OFF when I get to the onson or whatever the fuck you call it?"
[00:21:00] <Doktor_Q> Maybe it takes more power to make it stick in...?
[00:21:43] <Doktor_Q> The right side of her torso emits a few sparks and a keeining noise as she builds up strength.
[00:22:21] <Boy_Named_Sue> Mirai continues her observation. She's not particularly inclined to get in the way of something entertaining.

[00:22:47] <UPDATE_Bread> "Looking good! Being comfortable! And putting it on after you get OUT!" She explains, "Come on, you gotta wear it! You never get a chance to wear these things in a school..."

[00:25:53] <Owen> Alcelstis kicks the discarded yukata on the ground and grumbles.  "You know, dragonkin don't even WEAR clothes where I grew up.  That's what 'comfortable' means to me."
[00:26:36] <Blue_> Heylan barges into the room, clad into a hastily-tied bathrobe, looking panicked! "What happened?" He demands, panting from his run over.
[00:26:40] <Doktor_Q> VV waits on Iiwi and Alcel. She hasn't met the requirements Hakase set for entering the men's side, so she has no choice but to follow the others and learn from them.
[00:27:01] <Doktor_Q> "I won," she says with a smile, indicating the dartboard.
[00:27:23] <UPDATE_Bread> "Some of my cousins don't either, most of the time, but sometimes putting on something nice can be good too!" Iiwinasm won't give up!
[00:27:25] <Boy_Named_Sue> Mirai stops short just as she's about to exit, looking towards Heylan. "Yeah, she won."
[00:27:29] <Blue_> Heylan winces and groans. "What happened?" He asks of the others.
[00:28:22] <Boy_Named_Sue> Then she sees his broad chest again and how the yukata's kind of opened up around his neck in his hurry to run into the room and the blush in her cheeks starts to spread again.
[00:29:27] <Doktor_Q> As the only other left in the common room, VV answers for herself again- "I determined the use of these, and successfully applied it." She picks up another paddle, cocking back her arm to demonstrate.
[00:31:35] <Owen> Alcelstis rolls her eyes.  Seriously?  "You've got a bet with them out there that you can put me in one of these, don't you?"
[00:31:48] <Momizi> The boy who's apparently there the whole time, just look at the caved in wall...
[00:32:08] <Momizi> "I... would say that is not how it's used."
[00:32:20] <Blue_> "No no no no no!" Heylan rushes over to VV, and puts her arm in a pin. "No. Destroying innocent people's houses is bad."
[00:32:34] <UPDATE_Bread> "What?!" She sounds honestly offended. "No! Of course not! I just think you'd look really good in it, and you'll absolutely like it! Really!"
[00:32:47] <Owen> The dragon girl rubs her chin.  "What's the pool at, anyways?  If you split it with me I might say yes~"
[00:32:52] <Doktor_Q> "But... the target..." She points at the dartboard.
[00:33:09] <UPDATE_Bread> "There's no pool! There's no bet!"
[00:33:40] <Blue_> "No."
[00:35:30] <Doktor_Q> "Then... what is the target...?"
[00:36:07] <Blue_> " No.%"
[00:36:42] <Boy_Named_Sue> Mirai can't help but giggle as she waits and watches the exchange between Heylan and VV
[00:36:43] <Owen> Alcelstis smiles.  "Well maybe there SHOULD be~"
[00:37:37] <Owen> "What do you want to bet you won't get me into this fucking thing?"
[00:37:51] <UPDATE_Bread> "I don't want to bring money into it..." Iiwi says, "And I'm pretty sure none of them have any, anyway."
[00:37:56] <Doktor_Q> Her entire body droops, including her vents.
[00:38:31] <UPDATE_Bread> "W-what? You think I can't do it?" She frowns. "But if you bet against me, you have an incentive to make trouble!"
[00:39:27] <Blue_> Heylan gently sets her down, seeing if she's unconscious, or just going limp.
[00:40:55] <Owen> Alcelstis holds up the yukata and points out its design.  "Of COURSE I don't think you can do it!  Look, it's basically a robe, you HAVE to slash holes in it for the wings, but it's so thin the whole thing will just fall apart if you do!"
[00:41:20] <Doktor_Q> She's not collapsed, just moping
[00:42:15] <Owen> "I've been through this shit every time I've had to wear clothes.  Yeah, SOME dragonkin have the nice smooth scales; they can get away with more, but I got stuck with the rough stuff.  Like, okay, FEEL this skin, it's not gonna work."
[00:42:18] <Blue_> "Destroying innocent people's stuff is bad, and that's not what that's for."
[00:42:38] <Owen> Alcelstis rolls up the sleeve of her jacket and offers it to Iiwi.
[00:43:35] <UPDATE_Bread> Iiwi, who had been having this conversation through Alcel's door, is suddenly inside the room with her and running one hand gently over her scales and WOW that was fast. "We can work with this." She says. "You've been oiling your scales properly, right?"
[00:46:22] <Owen> Alcelstis raises an eyebrow.  "What the fuck do I look like to you, the king's mistress?"
[00:49:20] <UPDATE_Bread> Iiwi clicks her tongue, shaking her head. "Now, now." She says, waving a finger. "That's no excuse for not taking care of yourself properly." She scolds lightly. "Some of my cousins are scaled, and you need to take good care of it. It's not like skin, it doesn't oil itself." She starts to root around in a bag she brought with her. "Luckily, I brought some supplies..."
