There was a time when I used to just mope around and lay in my bed nearly all the time. I started acting like this when I was around 14. I didn't quite know why I was acting like this, but I seem to have a vague recollection of why I did.

I think It had something to do with the news that my mom had told me. Something to do with a lost brother. Now, I thought about this story long and hard, but now I think it's time for me to start telling it.

Day to day, I wasn't bothering with anything at all. My legs won't work only because my brain doesn't have the motivation to get up. My mom tried helping me to get up from bed, but I only turned her away because of my poor attitude I had toward the news. I held up like this until my friend, Jack

(We'll keep his name as jack because of the protection of identity)

Told me about someone who had the same last name as me he found out about online. This was when I was 17. I finally had the courage and the motivation to seek out my long lost brother.

My friend, Jack told me about my brothers whereabouts, because I asked him almost a thousand times. Jack said he lived somewhere naerby. Infact, my friend told me he was living at a local apartment complex. Jack told me he was living in apartment 203.

My mom told me not to go, but I didn't listen to her and went anyway. After I go there, I knocked on the door, and I saw a man open it. A tall man. An older man. A man who looked nearly twice my age. A man who looked similar to me. I saw my brother. He looked like my dad when he was alive. I didn't know what to say, so I just hugged him. I hugged him so tight, that I thought I would have suffocated him. He came home with me later, after explaining my story. Surprisingly, he didn't say much.

"So, your son didn't want to come?"

"No, he wanted to spend time with his... brother"

"And this is the problem you wanted to bring up?"

"Yes. You see, he's just so attacthed to him"

"I see."

"And after all the years, I'm just waiting for him to realize that he's carrying around a dead body"
