06[00:54] * Syl makes a stop at the library, leaving the others to retrieve anything interesting in the interim. She looks around for Mei Lein, as well.

[00:56] <Syl> "I'm very sorry you had to see that."
01[01:01] <Slamchest_Satan> She appears before you, a bit groggy eyed.  <The storm...it's fading quick.  The spirits here allowed the others to see me, that won't be the case for now on.>

[01:02] <Syl> "At least you think so. That...is of some comfort."
01[01:04] <Slamchest_Satan> She looks to the bookcases, <That fight reminded me of some things.  I was an adventurer.  That's why I wasn't here when this happened.  A swordswoman and, like the Empress, a geomancer.> She raises a hand, moving some of the bookcases around effortlessly.
[01:05] <Syl> "....at your age?" She seems mildly surprised. "Perhaps this is just a manifestation. You were almost certainly older."
01[01:06] <Slamchest_Satan> <Definently older.  Perhaps as we see more...I'll -feel- older?>
[01:08] <Syl> "Perhaps. I must admit, for all of the communication with spirits, I know little about how they manifest."
01[01:12] <Slamchest_Satan> She shrugs.  <Spirits are everywhere.  Trees, rocks, rivers, animals, people...I don't know much more than you though, Syl.  So we'll learn together, right?>

[01:21] <Syl> "Besides the obvious, did the people keep anything interesting within the libraries?"
01[01:21] <Slamchest_Satan> She paces around a bit, thinking.
[01:21] <Syl> "Court records, tallies, something?"
01[01:22] <Slamchest_Satan> <Uh...probably.  This is the royal palace, after all...> she looks around.
[01:24] <Syl> "If there's anything interesting here that isn't in a usual library, it would likely be in an archives section."
[01:26] <Syl> "Or an inventory."

01[01:26] <Slamchest_Satan> <Like this?> She returns after looking around a bit with a leather tome.  <From the first few pages it...seems like the musings of the hand to the empress.>

01[01:28] <Slamchest_Satan> <It starts off talking about how he was honored for the position, but considering he was assigned to her at her -birth-, and being a man of forty or so himself...>  She flips to the last few pages, skimming them quickly.  <...Yeah...this might help you. 01[01:29] <Slamchest_Satan> She nods and holds the book toward you.
