2.
Rules

3.
4.
Preamble

5.
The organization of such a tournament requires a set or rules and a lot of administrators and referees. By playing or involving in this tournament, you commit yourself to respect these rules and those who organize Assault Cube World cup.
6. Since we can't predict all situations, we grant ourselves the right to modify these rules at any step of the tournament.
7. Misrespecting these rules will result in sanctions, which can be extended "out of" the tournament.
8.

9.
10.
1. The Assault Cube World Cup (2011)

11.
The 2011 ACWC wishes to be a fun, and competitive AC (1.1.0.4) tournament between different countries. We have nothing to do with previous ACWC's versions.
12. Everybody is free to participate to this tournament, as player, or referee, unless ACWC administrators refuse their application.
13. The way the tournament will work will be decided when team registrations are closed.
14.

15.
16.
17.
2. Team

18.
19.
2.1 Team registration

20.
Since this tournament is meant to be a world cup, a team should of course represent a country, or at least a specific area/region in the world.
21. Note that multiple teams can represent the same country. Depending on their numbers, there should be a qualification process to know which one will participate to the following steps of the tournament.
22. The players of each team should have the same timezones (more or less) and speak the same language, so we expect a good organization. Also we might deny any attempt to create a clan-like team.
23. Once team registration is closed, administrators and referees will validate or deny some applications. Then teams will be "locked".
24. If you wish to register a team, you'll need to respect these rules :

25.

26.
A player can't be involved in several teams.

27.
A team consists of 4 or 5 players, not more, not less

28.
A team can represent different countries, but for very good reasons. We might deny the application of this kind of teams if needed. Be very cautious about that.

29.

30.
31.
2.2 Captains

32.
Each team has a single captain who is in charged of special stuff

33.

34.
The captain must always be on #acwc IRC when he's online / about to play. He must provides an email address to the administrators of ACWC, just by registrating to acwc's web site or contacting them.

35.
The captain should be able to provide screenshots or demos of all matches he played for the world cup if asked by an administrator

36.

37.
38.
39.
3. Matches

40.
Matches will NOT be decided randomly. We'll organize matches between teams who have similar timezones, dates and hours of disponibility.

41.
42.
3.1 Before matches

43.
The date of a match will be discussed by both opponents and the referee. The referee is chosen by the administrators. He should be reliable, able to stay during the whole match, and fair.
44. Once a date and hour is given on the ACWC website, it can not be changed anymore. The day of the match, players has to be on at least 15 minutes before.
45. If a team isn't ready for the match, it will be disqualified or the match will be registered as a won by their opponents. This decision is up to the administrators and the referees.
46.

47.
48.
3.2 In game

49.
Administrators and referees will decide, for each step of the tournaments, which maps and modes will be played. Only official maps might be played.
50. If someone leaves during a game, all players have to keep playing unless the referee ask them to stop.
51. There will be breaks of about 1 or 2 minutes maximum between each round. The referee will warn players before voting next game.
52. In-game spectating shouldn't be allowed, but the referee might authorize a player to spectate (e.g: ACTV administrator).
53. At intermission, or if a player is missing, you can ask a sub player to join.
54. Players will have to respect these rules in game :
