The Fifty-Third Battalion of the Pact is a multi-purpose unit put together by Whispers Lightbringer and former vigilante, Leon Kensley. Their goal: protect Tyria from the elder dragon threat, through exploration, espionage and frontline fighting. The unit was established after the war against Zhaitan in Orr, and played a major part in keeping the mordrem at bay before the launch of the fleet, alongside the war against Mordremoth himself. They are sworn to protect Tyria from its plethora of threats through the means necessary to combat them. While the soldiers of the Pact may have their individual goals and aspirations, they are all united in their desire to protect Tyria from those who would do it and it’s peoples harm. Are you worthy to stand among us?

In the Fifty-Third battalion, you can expect missions ranging from reconnaissance and scouting, to your traditional front-line fighting. You'll be exploring the darkest untouched corners of Tyria, where the elder dragon corruption breeds, as well as dealing with internal and external organized threats. Whilst a soldier's experience will be very different from order to order, the goal of the Pact is to unite the three orders, and as such you'll be working with other hero's of vastly different skill sets in your missions.

Within the particular battalion, we have at any given time, three chief officers commanding the different arms of the Pact forces. One in charge of the Priory, Whispers and Vigil segments respectively. Upon entering, new members will be put through tests according to the section they place their toon in to examine their IC cooperation within the unit and OOC viability within the guild. Afterwards, the will become a full fledged member of the team. A full team member has a ranked assigned based on their talents and field of specialty, further within the branch of the team in which they serve.

Whilst your rank within your order still holds weight, the Fifty-Third expects you to respect the internal high-ranking Pact members as your superiors.

The Fifty-Third also have a privateer group which acts as an arm with extra reach. The positions in this portion are very limited, but if you wish to apply for a position in this part of the guild, please include it in your application. Just like the other arms of the guild, this has its own lieutenant.

We accept any and all RP styles, but do understand that as a heavy RP guild we require activity and contribution from our members. We advise, that in order for both parties to have an enjoyable experience, that you include a main or heavily favored alt into the guild. As a guild, we will allow for several different types of RP in varying scenarios. We are allowed the flexibility of the Pact in undertaking different types of missions. There is the scholarly, which can go from research to engineering, to artifact hunting and the like. Recon in all of its forms. And of course, the front line fighting.

We are looking for members who are willing to bring in one main and active character into the guild, though members may bring in alternate characters once they've established themselves. When you make it into the guild, you'll go through an in-character interview to recruit you into our ranks.
