  1. >Ever hear of the calm before the storm,
  2. >you are twilight sparkle,
  3. >and for while now anonymous has been asking some very strange questions
  4. >and asking about some very hard to find materials,
  5. >checking out weird books that you just can't understand how they all relate to each other
  6. >one book is about magic
  7. >the next book is about anti-magic
  8. >another book is how to shield stuff from other ponies vision
  9. >and the next would be how to penetrate those
  10. >anonymous has been asking for such weird shit lately that you had the actually investigate.
  11. >And for the life of your you could not find anything
  12. >I mean seriously we're twilight fucking sparkle
  13. >you think anything he did slipped past us
  14. >fuck no
  15. >but that was several months ago
  16. >it's kind of hard to imagine exactly what he had in plan for those
  17. >but you left it off as simple curiosity,
  18. >anonymous coming from a world that doesn't have magic
  19. >surely he would be interested in it if it was rea
  20. >and when you heard of his fiction in his world you understand where is coming from
  21. >at least thats how you explained it to yourself
  22. >that's the only use for those books
  23. >and that's what you wrote it off as
  24. >until rarity came screaming towards you
  25.
  26. >”twilight thank goodness I found you, come on you have to come quick!”
  27. >Fantastic
  28. “rarity what is all this...”
  29. > She cuts you off right there
  30. >“no time to explain, this is important you must come now”
  31. >Great if its rarity you know she's overreacting about next to nothing
  32. >and you're getting dragged into this bullshit one more God damn time,
  33. >the last time she did this shit you told her straight up that if she cries Wolf one more God damn time you're done helping her period,
  34. >now you may think this is being harsh,
  35. >but she pulled you out of your bed at fucking five in the morning because it was raining the day before and there was too much mud around her house
  36. >to fully understand how pissed you were at that moment you have to think back to the three days you stayed up researching some magical bullshit for the Princess,
  37. >you know your her student and that she's busy
  38. >she can't research everything
  39. >but seriously some of this crap just gets tedious,
  40. >I mean if there is something only you could do, you would understand
  41. >with figuring out why water turns green after a while without algae being involved gets tedious,
  42. >this crap someone else could've researched
  43. >it didn't have to be you
  44. >but I digress from the point she pulled you out of bed after pulling three all nighters with two hours of sleep and made you help her clean up the mud around her house
  45. >to say you are a little bit pissed back than would be an understatement.
  46. >And now you're running off because she decides this can't be walking distance it has to be running
  47.
  48. >You ran to Fluttershy's house and passed it without even stopping to say hello to her because rarity is running, which is forcing you to run
  49. >and you really don't understand why rarity is running
  50. >you can't really talk to her right now because you're panting
  51. >your a homebody
  52. >you don't exercise this God damn much
  53. >you are surprise you haven't collapsed already,
  54. >but you keep running because that's what rarities doing.
  55. >then you begin to see something off in the distance,
  56. > it appears to be a big tent
  57. >this tent doesn't throw you off right from the get-go
  58. >but as you get closer you start to understand a bit more why this tent is weird
  59. >you start thinking of those books that anonymous had checked out,
  60. >the tent looked like a big house tent
  61. >but as you get closer to it you start feeling weaker
  62. >not physically
  63. >and it's hard to put your whoves on it
  64. >then it hits you like a ton of bricks
  65. >you try using magic
  66. >you are barely capable of doing what a filly can
  67. >this being worry some in his of itself doesn't compare when you see all the ponies lining up around the tent
  68. >all of them are male
  69. >something you didn't see too much around Ponyville
  70. > right then it catches your eye
  71. >the sign for this tent actually says “the elements auctions”
  72.
  73. >It's at this point that rarity finally slows down and talks to you
  74. >you can't understand her through your panting,
  75. >you decide to go up to the nearest stall and get something to drink
  76. >that's where we see three little fillies
  77. >the cutie Mark Crusaders
  78. >apparently they set up a stand this selling marshmallows and are also selling water
  79. >the marshmallows are on kind of in the shape of them
  80. > it's cute and creative
  81. >you barely managed to levitate a bottle of water towards
  82. >you and take a drink when sweetie Belle with that crack in her voice tells you “that'll be 10 bits”
  83. >you spit take that rarity,
  84. >no you didn't accidentally spit take at rarity
  85. >see during the 10 bits for the bottle of water that made you spit take
  86. > you remember rarity wore your ass out to the point that you had to get bottled water
  87. >running past Fluttershy's house
  88. >a place you could of gotten something to drink for free
  89. >to this tent
  90. >and all the while, wouldn't tell you why you're here
  91. >that
  92. >that right there is why you spit take it rarity,
  93. >the look of horror on her face when that happened, marvelous
  94. >you got your revenge
  95. >you put up with her bullshit another day
  96. but you have asked the Crusaders “why the hell does it cost 10 bits bottled water should only cost one”
  97. > you're tired, your worn-out, rarities dragging you along, your neck you watch your language
  98. >they look at you
  99. >smile
  100. >and they tell you exactly why “anonymous said that supply and demand dictates that the water cost a lot, ponies can't exactly magic it up, there isn't a stream around for good mile, and most of them can't get here by carriage so they had to either walk or run, which means this is the only water for a great distance, meaning that if there's demand, someone will buy it”
  101. >Scootaloo really can remember things when they want to easily,
  102. >”we get a 10% cut of everything we sell” chimed in sweetie Belle with that crack in her voice
  103. >you look there a little stunned that anonymous would come up with something like this
  104. >but you remember what he told you of his world
  105. >the materialistic value it held
  106. >sure Equestria had money
  107. >but it was use more as a yes you did some work here's a bit it's a voucher you get something for
  108. >I believe he equated it to something along the lines of food stamps that could be used for anything
  109. >you're not quite sure what he meant by that
  110. >but you kind of scene what kind of a world he lived in would gouge the price like this
  111. you asked the fillies another question “what's with the marshmallows”
  112. >this time AppleBloom chimed in “apparently when anonymous was trying to make the masterpieces he did a lot of experiments and a few of them were with molds of smaller ponies. he decided that the best use for them would be making fillies by size treats...”
  113. >masterpieces, what the hell are those
  114. >“...it was also his idea that sweet stuff tends to taste even better if salted”
  115. >you take a closer look at the marshmallows and noticed that there kind of shiny
  116. >it's salt
  117. >anonymous salted the marshmallows
  118. >the wheels in your head spin for little bit
  119. >why would anyone want to salt the marshmallows
  120. >you ask them how much those marshmallows cost and they say two bits for three
  121. >you pay them two bits
  122. >you're curious now and you eat one of them
  123. >it's good
  124. >so it really does enhance it
  125. >but now you're a little thirsty
  126. >then it hits you it hits you hard
  127. >anonymous wants to sell these marshmallows as a treat
  128. >then sell them water
  129. >one marshmallows will make you a bit thirsty
  130. >but not 10 bits thirsty
  131. >but three of the mother fucker's
  132. >yeah you're going to be thirsty
  133. >you squint your eyes a bit at down and the fillies give you that angellic smile
  134. >that tells you they know God damn well what they're doing is wrong
  135. >you let out a sigh in decide to let it go
  136. >it's not the fillies fault it's anonymouses
  137.
  138. >Now that you mention it where the hell is an anonymous
  139. >that's when you see the line to get inside of this tent
  140. >it's long
  141. >it's really long
  142. >but your twilight fucking sparkle
  143. >you won't wait in line to get in this God damn tent when you know anonymous is somewhere inside
  144. >he has questions answer
  145. >skipping to the front of line you see
  146. >snowflakes his name right
  147. >fuck it you just uses the name anonymous call him
  148. >roid rage,
  149. >he looks at the two of you a little pissed
  150. >until he realizes who the two of you are
  151. >surprisingly he says you two are on the list and let's you in.
  152. >Now you have had a lot to be shocked about today
  153. >but inside this tent...
  154. >it was big on the outside
  155. >but God dammit it looks even bigger on the inside,
  156. >you remember one of the books that you lent anonymous,
  157. >it had to deal with magic that actually expanded areas creating a small pocket dimensions
  158. >he commissioned a pocket dimension inside of this tent,
  159. >you have no idea how much this cost but it must've been a pretty penny.
  160. >to Your surprise, inside this tent you also find the four girls that weren't with you
  161. >naturally pinkie pie's excited
  162. >Fluttershy is well living up to her God damn namesake
  163. >but the other two look Pissed
  164. >you don't really know why.
  165. >Applejack tells “you do you remember the contracts that anon had a sign”
  166. >Yes you do
  167. >he decided to paint you and the other girls
  168. >he wanted to get better painting
  169. >being a little paranoid he wanted you sign the rights of your image to him just so if his paintings turn out good and somebody wanted them he could sell them.
  170. >It's confusing at this point
  171. >then rainbow chimes in saying “there were no limits on what he could do with them”
  172. >no there were limits
  173. >he couldn't mass-produced the images
  174. >he couldn't take your image and put in a newspaper to sell it like that or anything of like
  175. >you're still confused
  176. >The four of them lead you around trying to get you through this crown of stallions
  177. >seriously where the hell did they all come from
  178. >trying to get to the front of whatever the hell this place is
  179. >and you see it
  180. >a platform
  181. >a wooden platform
  182. >on top that platform
  183. >a podium
  184. >behind the podium
  185. >a glass case
  186. > inside the case are exact replicas of you and your five friends
  187. “he made statues of us you say”
  188. >Pinkie decides to chime in and her bubbly personality “nopey dopey, they look really good to know they're not made stone or word or ore or modeler clay or...” rainbow hits her upside the head at that point making pinkie squint looking at rainbow with her looking back
  189. ending with you saying “just get to the point”
  190. > Pinkie explained “he made a soda marshmallows!”
  191. >Anonymous tended to say it a lot
  192. >about you that you all marshmallows,
  193. >but he only said marshmallow as one ponys full-time nickname
  194. >you look at rarity,
  195. >you she's a bit pissed about that, “darling it's not about being made out of marshmallows, it's that he made us all anatomically correct out of marshmallows”
  196. >your eyes go wide
  197. >they're saucer plates
  198. >you understand fully what she means by anatomically correct
  199. >and being made out of a food you kind of understand why
  200. >for the first time since you've been here you understand why it's primarily stallions.
  201. >Only stallions want you
  202. >and your goods to eat.
  203. >Pinkie hands you a flyer at this point,
  204. >they chime in saying that apparently it was passed around all of the major cities in hushed tones around men.
  205. >Pinkie also hands you a second flyer
  206. >apparently an hour after the auction a concert is to start
  207. >this one you remember seeing around all the time
  208. >but never really paid much mind to it because you weren't into the the rave concert sceen that's apparently going to happen here
  209. > I guess anon wanted double dip if he is going to spend this much money on it why not get as much out of it as he can
  210. >think of the asshole there he is
  211. >you have so many things you want to ask him
  212. >so many things that he has to explain
  213. >but before you can even get a word off edgewise
  214. >he goes into his explanation
  215.
  216. >”First off contracts I had you sign were for full anatomically correct depictions. I never made them to be pornographic but a certain level of anatomical correctness is necessary for art to really be art?”
  217. >You have to admit he has you there, you're not exactly proud of it but you've clopped to more than a few paintings of Celestia that have been made over the years,
  218. >he goes on to explain, “these marshmallows are works of art, and their of the elements, something every pony knows about. you six are among the most beautiful mares and Equestria just coming in shy of Luna and Celestia and slightly ahead depending on your taste.”
  219. >This makes for of you blush.
  220. >“Now to get more technical with this, outside in the tent I have set up a bunch of magical devices that suppress magic with a wide area. Most of the devices are derived from the schematics and the books I had you get me. The fabric on this also is conductive of magic and I also have the whole floor line with the cloth so any magic inside in use is getting leached out at the same time. Basically I made it so anything shy of discord or Celestia probably couldn't do a God damn thing in here outside of barely able levitate a bottle of water. This was mostly to ensure no theft would happen.
  221. >You're about ask where the hell all the money came from
  222. > but the auction has just started
  223.
  224. >Your jaw fucking drops to the ground
  225. >seriously you're in a magic suppressed environment
  226. >pinkie can't even break physics in here
  227. >and your jaw is hitting the God damn ground so hard there's cracks,
  228. > the prices the sculptures is selling for are insane
  229. >rainbow sold for 500 bits to one of the very few mares who are in here,
  230. >pinkie pie sold for 690 bits
  231. >applejack sold for 820 bits,
  232. >to some pony who is dressed in a trench coat,
  233. >the only pony in here who is dressed in a trench coat,
  234. >you know there are a lot of jokes going around
  235. >anonymous is told you what hillbillies and rednecks are in his world,
  236. >you really want to believe that it's not
  237. >for Equestria
  238. > but more preferably the betterment of your mind
  239. >you try not to think that it might be a relative.
  240. >Your marshmallow sculptures sold for 1200 bits
  241. >rarity sold for 1800 bits
  242. >but Fluttershy,
  243. >God dammit Fluttershy,
  244. >that's when the war started.
  245. >The bidding started out at 2000 bits
  246. >everyone else's started out at 100
  247. >the base cost to make these,
  248. >you thought no one was going to bid,
  249. >but stallion in the back put up an extra 500
  250. >a mare put up an extra hundred
  251. >another stallion one 250
  252. >the mare went up to 350 more
  253. >and it went on and on
  254. >until finally it ended up at 6945 bits
  255. > what did the mare do for living to be able to afford that
  256. >Anonymous came over this with at least 11,955 bits on those sculptures alone
  257. >he has more than enough to live for at least five years without doing it God damn thing now.
  258. > The shock and the six of you never really went away
  259. > the only thing that really took you out of your state of shock was one you've heard the first wub
  260.
  261. > Off in the far corner on another stage that was set up
  262. > you don't understand how you didn't notice
  263. >a light shows going off and vinyl scratch is there,
  264. >the fucking top rave pony and Equestria
  265. > according to pinkie
  266. >is right over there playing a concert,
  267. >you just don't understand how this is actually possible
  268. >first an auction
  269. >than a music festival of sorts
  270. >there's fancy ponies
  271. >there's rave ponies
  272. > there are ponies everywhere every walk of life is here
  273. >hell you could probably see all the Ponyville inside here,
  274. >your five friends have sense moved on
  275. >you can see pinkie bouncing around in the crowd
  276. >anonymous comes right up next to sits down and he tells you a simple thing
  277. >he doubled his money he made it the auction right now.
  278. >That was enough for you to snap out of it and focus on the only thing that could come out of your mouth at this point
  279. “how”
  280. >it turns out he invited almost all of Equestria to a music festival and he sold tickets
  281. >if he didn't have to pay the musicians in all the set up for them he would've quadrupled his money
  282. >but he also sold things like the glow sticks to the ponies who really wanted it,
  283. >your jaws on the floor again and you just don't understand how he could of thought of all of this
  284. >the most surprising thing that happens today is when Princess Celestia and Luna walked into the tent
  285. >most the ponies are focused on the music
  286. >but the few that aren't are not showing the usual respect that they usually do,
  287. >they treating them like any other ponies right now
  288. >anon got a flyer out of his back pocket because he saw your amazement and pointed right to where it mentioned Luna and Celestia may show up,
  289. >to make a long paragraph short
  290. >it just said they wanted to enjoy the festivities
  291. >they didn't want to put on the royal bullshit that usually follows them wherever they go,
  292. >anonymous then goes on to say “that auction I had was somewhat dubious and the way I got the princes to agree to over look it was the promise them a day where they won't be treated like princesses, and hey I think I delivered”
  293. > you look in stunned and you can only ask one thing
  294. “where did the money come from for all this”
  295. > anon went on to say that he listened to pinkie stories of her childhood
  296. >how she didn't have her physics bending abilities back then,
  297. >or at least how they didn't appear yet,
  298. >so he looked into it.
  299. >Apparently Pinkie's parents on the rock farm sat on quite a large supply of the materials he needed,
  300. >anon got in contact with them
  301. > telling them exactly what materials were and how much it was worth
  302. >they were not in the business of dealing with it
  303. >anon didn't like being shitty the people.
  304. >Apparently because of how anon handle the situation
  305. >they let it go for a very small fraction of what it should of been worth
  306. >with anon promising the princesses a good time
  307. >they foot the bill for much of the materials he needed
  308. >since they are going to be repurposed afterwords for things around the castle.
  309. >Anonymous apparently went as far as to involve Celestia in the creation of the pocket dimensions that holds this area
  310. > it had been made out of a special material that won't be affected by the magic suppressing effects of the other devices.
  311. >Apparently the effects will last for a week
  312. >but the music festivals only really planned for another three days
  313.
  314. >You want to be pissed at anon
  315. >you really do
  316. >you understand the world he came from,
  317. >you understand a lot more about him than you think even he realizes,
  318. >but the reason why you can't get mad at him is for what he did was when you look at Celestia and Luna's faces
  319. >that's not the usual smile she has on for royal duties
  320. >that isn't the one she usually gives her subjects
  321. >she's truly enjoying herself right now
  322. >along with Luna who is still somewhat feared by the ponies
  323. > they look like they're having the time to their lives
  324. >for once you think you let it go for now.
  325.
  326. >The next week anonymous came to you and asked you to do his accounting for him,
  327. >with all the sales that happened at his party
  328. >with everything that happened at that auction
  329. >with all the pre-auctions selling of water and marshmallow fillies,
  330. >anon came out with over 43,000 bits,
  331. >and because he gave the princesses something they haven't had in a millennia,
  332. >he got out of any form of tax on it.
  333. >Fucking anonymous
