- Evening Chris and Allan,
- I have a question regarding downloads, in particular, remote downloads.
- I am a user of torrent downloads and am found of the ability to use either window or android apps to remotely administer the download pool, ratio's etc. I have recently been reading up on how to download single files from website without using a torrent.
- An example, I will use WGET on a linux server I have set up at home and ssh into and download a techsnap or LAS show so when I get home from work, it will be there for me to watch.
- That being said, is there a better way or a remote GUI I can run on a Windows / LInux machine that will allow me to control downloads from a remote server without having to SSH into each time?
- Similar to how transdroid or transmission GUI work with transmission-daemon? or am I going about this the wrong way?
