Luna & Anon - Trapped by a Dream

"Twilight, hoist the mainyard!
>"Aye aye!"
"Cook, how's the grub coming along"
>"Mmph-hmmph hmm!"
"Are our canons prepped?"
>"These canons are ready to fire like Granny Smith on baked bean night!"
>You stand at the helm of your ship, hands on your hips, admiring the setting sun, listening to the sounds of work being done behind you.
>Soon you would have the treasure of the Ponies Peak for yourself.
>And your crew of course.
>You took a deep breath of the salty sea air, content and happy with your adventure.
>And then you felt it.
>A shudder.
>You look around.
>None of the ponies seemed to notice.
>You open your mouth and then close it again.
>Maybe it was just your imagination.
>You felt the shudder again.
>Your mind nagged at the thought of imagination.
>You looked around, watching the perfect pirate scene, seeing the ponies move around.
>A shudder.
>This was a dream.
>Your memories, your real memories, come flooding back to you.
"No."
>A shudder.
>She was close.
>Your first mate Twilight looked up at you in confusion..
>She was wearing a silly bandanna with her cutie mark on it.
>"Captain?"
"No. Twilight I need your sword"
>"Ok captain!"
>With the sword in hand you plunged it into your gut just as you felt the final shudder.
>Pain.
>But it was just dream pain.
>If you died, then you'd have to wake up.

>"No!"
>"No!"
>"What did you do?!"
>"I don't know he just-"
>You uncurl from the ground as the sword in your torso vanishes.
>"Anonymous, are you alright?!"
>Your eyes open to the blue horse right above you.
"Of course I am, now that you're here!"
>Your mouth moves of it's own accord, the words come unbidden from your lips.
>Your body catches her as she hugs you closely.
>"I have disposed of your traitorous first mate for you"
"Then it looks like I have an opening for someone"
>Your eye winks at her as the tricorn hat is pulled off of your head and plopped onto hers.
>"What adventure are we going on tonight?"
>She looks up at you in genuine excitement.
>Your lips are pulled into a smile.
"We are going to go fight the dreaded pirate queen Celest and end her rule of the oceans!"
>Your body rises to take the helm again.
>There's nary a sound except for the creaking of the ship and the splashing of the waves against the hull as Luna moves beside you.
>She admires the clear night sky.
>You silently rage as your dream is forced to bend to the will of the Princess of the Night.
>You rage as, sooner or later, her will will turn to other things.
