I think it would be better if you watch the short Tsunagu series first before watching this film, given Tsunagu gives depth to most of the characters and plot for this film.

You have no idea how long I've been anticipating this film - well, I guess I can because there are a lot of fans I know who are also anticipating this film. The introduction of the new characters, even though they're somewhat different from the original source material is okay - and I actually liked the original character haha Lots of laughs and tears while watching this film.

Sadly, this is really the last installment of the live action movie series. Here's to hoping at least there would be a live action spin-off of the Chihayafuru Chuugakuseihen.
