My first SCP!

Special Containment Procedure: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a secure storage locker located at Site-XX. Only personnel involved in SCP-XXXX research and testing may have access to the object. When not in use in testing or research, SCP-XXXX is to be returned to the locker as soon as possible. Testing with this object requires authorization from one Level 3 research personnel.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a Fujifilm Finepix S2700 HD digital camera. The memory card slot appears to be absent, and eve though the camera possesses a battery compartment, it can be operated without any batteries.

When SCP-XXXX is used to take a photo of a human or group of humans (hereby designated SCP-XXX-1), they will enter a trance state in which they are unable to move any portion of their bodies. SCP-XXXX digital display will begin to display commands in the form of white text on a black background. These commands are always in the native langauge of the photographer (hereby designated SCP-XXXX-A). If these commands are vocalized by SCP-XXX-A, all instances of SCP-XXX-1 will begin to carry out these commands. Once a command is completed, SCP-XXXX will display another command. This cycle will continue until either all instances of SCP-XXXX-1 have perished or SCP-XXXX gives no further commands. To date, SCP-XXXX has given no less than 3 commands, and no more than [black box]. When the cycle is completed, all surviving instances of SCP-XXXX-1 will be released from their trance state, with no knowledge of what they were made to do.

SCP-XXXX-A idividuals are not anomalously compelled to give these commands, and if a commands has not been vocalized within 23 seconds of being given by SCP-XXXX, it will be replaced with another command. If SCP-XXXX-A does not give atleast one command, instances of SCP-XXXX-1 will be markedly more aggresive towards SCP-XXXX-A. If a certain percentage of commands ([black box]%) are not given, SCP-XXXX-1 will be immediately physically aggresive once released from the trance state, often resulting in SCP-XXXX-A being beaten to death.

Commands given by SCP-XXXX range from mundane tasks, such as to remove an article of clothing or walk a certain direction for a certain distance, to violent actions such as allowing oneself to be cannibalized by others. For a compete list of these commands, see Addendum-XXXXXXX.
