  1. The Itzcuintli are normally 3 to 4 feet tall, with slender lower jaws, and a thicker, higher upper jaw, ending in an angle upwards, leading the upper jaw and nose to extend out around five centimeters. They have long ears, comparable to a fennec fox's, that end in a sharp point. They have four fingers on each hand, including a thumb, and three toes, each ending in a thick claw. The species have a tail equivalent to their body length, ending in a spaded, elongated tip. The Itzcuintli originate from a planet outside the Sol system, having been located on a planet near one of the outer rings of the Milky Way Galaxy. The planet, Tonaltzintli, is mostly forest, though there are several small oceans dotted around the landscape. The creatures build structures similar to Aztec structures on Earth, including village, fort, and monument buildings. They are secluded creatures, and tend to avoid outside contact unless they feel as if they may learn something, or are simply curious enough. They are naturally curious, though smart enough to realize if something might harm them. Many structures seen on their planet are elaborately constructed of marble, granite, wood and slate. The largest of the structures, Netzcoatl, has a serpent like appearance, stretching to nearly five stories tall, and appears to be a temple of sorts. The creatures are rather intelligent, as they have managed to create rudimentary cranes, and elevator-like lifts. During fights, they use swords, bows, and darts, made of different materials depending on their social status. The high ranking chiefs of each city tend to be adorned in gold and silver, as the Itzcuintli highly value such materials. So far, their planet has not been visited by more than an exploratory probe circling the planet that remains to this day, so the species is not familiar with any sort of other, intelligent life, and seems to be blissfully unaware of the other creatures in the universe.
