  3. PvP stands for Player vs. Player, a game-mode where players can fight each other. In the Gladiator's Arena, players may either participate in Duels, 2v2, 3v3 battles or Battle Royales.

  5. In the case of duels, the two participants may PM a viable host (a person with +, %, @ or # before their name) with interest to participate in a duel. This duel occurs in a battle chat. The rewards for a duel are determined by stakes agreed upon by both players.

  7. For 2v2 and 3v3 battles, the host types 'arenasignup' in the chat and players PM the host in order to try and sign up just like battlesignup. The loot for 2v2 battles is 2 Shillings and 1 Random Ore. The defeated get 1 Shilling for participation. In 3v3 battles, the loot is 3 Shillings and 1 Random Ore for the victors and 1 Shilling for the defeated.

  9. In a Battle Royale, it's every player for themselves, typically in a 1v1v1v1 situation. The winner is the last person standing, but to prevent ganging up on people, you may not attack the last player who was attacked! The prize for coming first is 3 Shillings and 1 Random Ore for the survivor and 1 Shilling for the player who came second.

  11. Shillings are a form of currency that are used in the Warlock's Den. With Shillings, you will be able to buy ores as well as weapons on the rare occasion. Shillings may also be used in duels as stakes and may have some future use.

  13. There are two modes in PvP: Basic and Anything Goes. Only Basic Mode qualifies for the leaderboard, while only Anything Goes qualifies for stake-based Duels. In Anything Goes, there are no nerfs or buffs to abilities nor restrictions to HP. In Basic Mode, some abilities have been changed to make the game a bit more fairer for all classes and more competitive on the leaderboard. The changes are listed below, but some may be subject to change:
  14. Clerics:
  15. - Heal does not work in a 1v1 Cleric vs Cleric game.
  16. - All Clerics have access to Bless.
  17. - All Clerics have 130 HP on Basic Mode.
  18. Gunners:
  19. - Reflex uses a d3 roll to see if an attack hits.
  20. - All Gunners have 100 HP on Basic Mode.
  21. Monks:
  22. - Counter Throw does not work.
  23. - All Monks have 115 HP on Basic Mode.
  24. Engineers:
  25. - Buddy Guard and Buddy Tank only reduce the amount of damage a bot takes and do not redirect damage to the bot.
  26. - If an Engineer starts second in a duel, they start with their construct.
  27. - All Engineers have 80 HP on Basic Mode.
  28. Mages:
  29. - Dark Matter and Meteor only reduce by 2x the user's Ability Bonus, not 4x. The effect is nullified on Clerics.
  30. - All Mages have 90 HP on Basic Mode.
  31. Basic Abilities:
  32. - Abilities ending with "Force" are banned.
  33. - All damage dealt by Skill Shot is reduced by 1/4 after rolling.
