Have you had any experience roleplaying as a CP? If so, sum up such experience(s): On a server based in C18, I had some minor experience as a Civil Protection Recruit. I was able to read the basis of most of the code words, ranks and alike. I never really had too much to do, they normally boxed recruits into the building so I didn't have that much field work. I wish to do more on this server, contribute.

Describe the functions of Civil Protection and its general relation with other personnel:
The Civil Protection are pretty much Law enforcement, strictly composed of ex military, police officers, human volunteers and those who wish to aid the UU in keeping the world under control. Their main job is to enforce strict and power over humans and keep the enslavement going, the higher up the rank Civil Protection go the more loyalty to the UU increases.


What purpose does Civil Protection serve in a governmental manner? How are these purposes fulfilled in Half-Life 2? In the server? Composed of many types of previous para-military, they fullfil  their empowerment over citizens using many brutal and thug-like ways whether it's from re-education, [Beating of said person, teaching them a lesson etc] to Amputation, [Strict murder of said person, thus "Amputee"].

Describe the pseudo-hierarchical ranking structure. Provide a general summary of the system without detailing each rank. No Civil protection is higher than the other, they're all generally the same in that aspect. Lower ranks tend to stick with higher ranks and follow what they do mainly because those higher have had more experience throughout the UU, allowing them to generally aid the lower ranks in what should be done for that scenario. The only high rank is Dispatch, an invisible yet alive AI that lives everywhere throughout City 17. With her ability to use the camera's across the city, she controls the CP force with ease.

How does the administration of verdicts and general operations of civil protection ethically differ from a modern society? What are the in-character benefits of these methods from a pro-union perspective?  Ever heard that phrase, I'm the judge, jury and the executioner? Well, Civil protection are a familiar and living embodiment of that phrase. They care little for a court system if there was one, instead the scenario that comes into play is often dealt with said re-education or worse, an amputation. No said police officer of modern day society has the authority to beat a suspect, Civil Protection care little for the previous world and do so anyway.

How does the Dispatch Overvoice work via CP-based communication? Dispatch uses robot like codes and commands to speak to Civil Protection officers with a sense of Anonymity and Uniformity. They're very different in the aspect of the codes and commands that standard Enforcement Officers may use, which takes time to learn.

Justify the significance of minimizing contact with citizens. The aspect of maintaining citizen contact is for the ability to keep them under a minimum, citizens talking to each other can be catastrophic in the thought of an uprising due to the citizens not noticing that Civil Protection have a hard crunch on rebellions. Anonymity of said Civil Protection is vital and the key to keeping the citizens in check, to make sure that nothing out of the ordinary occurs without a stunstick to the back of the skull.

What is the reasoning behind the prosecution of citizens behind closed doors? It withstains the certain anonymity of the Civil Protection force, if they withstain the anonymity by handing out re-education or said amputation behind closed doors, Citizens wouldn't want to know what is happening and thus curiousity keeps the citizens in check.  All of this plays a game of fear to the citizens.

As above, describe the reasoning behind witness sterilization. Witness Sterilization is the killing of multiple civilians that have witnessed a Civil protection die, it is the aspect of amputating those who saw a Civil Protection killed so no rumors are spread. No man or woman would be afraid to kill if they see deaths all the time, it'd merely become part of their regime.

Why should you be entrusted with a whitelist as important as this? I have had experience before, I would say since 2015 I've improved my Civil protection information quite a bit. I wish to re-do what I loved back then on a server I really like, I have had no server infractions and nothing alike.

After a considerably brief confrontation with an anti-citizen subject, Dispatch orders you to proceed with an inquiry, as well as to amputate the individual upon mature mission termination. However, during the aforementioned situation, a member of the civil administration haphazardly interrupts this inquiry, and insists that you to return to patrolling and leave the individual alive. How do you proceed and what is your reasoning?
Seeming as said Civil Protection is equal, I would notify him of Dispatchs' order. I'd clearly state that he has no authority over what I do and when I do so, with such i'd continue to hand out the amputation to said anti-citizen and continue on my patrolling.

During an unaccompanied patrol of a secure stabilization index, a working class citizen interrupts your commission and asks you to follow him. He refuses to elaborate on what the situation is or where he intends to lead you, simultaneously demanding your assistance by obliging that it is urgent. How do you respond? I'd call in for an extra unit as Civil Protection is stronger in numbers, with the extra unit(s) in hand i'd proceed to follow the man to what he desires. If I cannot find any extra unit(s) able to assist me, i'd continue on my duties and ignore the man. If he persistantly bothers me, i'd continue with re-education unless told otherwise.

A civil operator in your assigned protection team has been labelled as 'autonomous' by Dispatch and you've been ordered to carry out a revocation of the proscribed functionaries civil status. How do you proceed? If said Officer is willing to comply and hand himself in, I'd proceed to extract said Officer to the nexus where i'd strip the officer of all comms and equipment. I'd continue to hand out an amputation, killing the Officer for autonomy and remove/dispose of said corpse.  [Based on the situation]

During a condemned zone four sweep, you, as an unit standing at 25 Rank Points, are tasked with administering a terminal verdict to a red-tiered loyalist named JOHN SMITH. After briefly conducting a series of searches, you come across the individual in question, whom is resisting your attempts to restrain him. Subsequently, Dispatch requests for you to report in with the subject's containment status. What will you do next? What verdicts would you administer and how would you proceed in administering them? Provide a justified explanation supporting your decision. With said resistance of arrest, i'd proceed to knock the man unconcious with my stun baton. As the man cannot resist whatsoever, i'd begin to bind the mans hands. Due to resistance of arrest and his previous line, i'd head to amputate the man with said tags "-507" and "-148". However i'd extract the man and place him in a confined area where i'd proceed to carry out my amputation, I would then notify dispatch of what had happened and the amputation at hand as I dispose of said loyalists corpse.

***VIKTOR-3 Leans against the wall outside RDB, he watches the citizens arrive to recieve their rations. He keeps a keen eye for any anti-citizen activities.
****Sounds of grunting and smashing can be heard from inside the RDB, what sounds like a fight is unfolding.

***VIKTOR-3 stands up off of the wall, proceeding to rush into the RDB and halt the situation before it can get out of hand.

VIKTOR-3 says on radio: "Viktor-3, 415b inside RDB. Possible 647E, proceeding."
***John picks the glass up by the handle, attempting to smash it across the mans face. He aims for the temple in hopes of sterilizing the man or knocking him unconcious.
***Pat raises both arms infront of his face, in hopes of the glass smashing onto his arms and reducing minimal damage at most.
***VIKTOR-3 Steps into the situation, having no said equipment he radio's in for extra units.
VIKTOR-3 says on radio: "11-99 inside RDB! 647E carrying out assault!"
***John's glass smashes with ease into pats arm, the glass colliding with the floor and spreading. John turns his head to the unit, he raises his brows as his heart begins to stop. He attempts to run out of the Ration Center.

***VIKTOR-3 notices the mans infutile attempts at running, he stands firm at the door with his stunstick shining in the light. He yells out, "Freeze!" as the man runs close.

***John then attempts to spear the officer to the ground outside RDB, he hopes to be able to run.

***VIKTOR-3 is then pushed backwards by the man, he manages to keep standing with the mans firm grip round his waist. Viktor drops his stunstick and tries to pull the man off of him.

***UNION-8 notices the 647E, unslinging his USP from the holster as he raises it to shoulder height. Through the glass of his mask, he aims down the sights and snaps down the hammer.
***VIKTOR-3 notices the extra protection unit, he moves his head as far backwards as possible in hopes of not being shot by the bullet.

***UNION-8 laces his finger onto the trigger, discharging multiple rounds into the mans abdomen in hopes of knocking said man unconcious or potentially killing him.

***John drops to the ground, his grip of the units waist then lost. He let's out a hefty yell of pain, firmly gripping his gut as he lays on the floor bleeding out. The multiple bullets seemed to have hit his organs.

***UNION-8 aims his USP to the mans skull as such, saying "Neutralizing 647E" as he discharges one more round into the mans skull. Practically kill on impact as he has no chance.
***John's head ricochets off of the ground, the bullet leaving a gap in the middle of his forhead and stuck in the ground behind him. His life instantly drains, blood seeping into his eyes as they shut.
