What was Fluttershy to Dash...?

A friend of course

A cheerleader of sorts

Dash needed her, show her a trick

This definitely, was going to be sick!

Neither predicted, what happened then

Alone but alive: a silent godsend

What was Fluttershy to Dash...?

Scared, alone, lost, and torn

With Dash at her back

She'd survive fates cruel scorn

With life saving help, from whales below

The ponies set off, hunger their foe

Through pain and great anguish

Dash managed, pulled through

Not altogether sanguine

But alive, that was true

A charge to take care of, an innocent friend

Dash would see her safe, this problem she'd mend

Continuing onwards, they soon became threatened

A forlorn spirit, had his eyes set on vengeance

Dash protected her friend, with decisions so rash

Fluttershy stood up, and helped her knight, Dash

With spirit defeated, through love and compassion

They were left un-harassed, and given safe passage

What was Fluttershy to Dash...?

Someone to lean on, someone to care for

Some to look to, for kindness and... more?

Through icy sea, all thought fled the night

A curtain of colors swam over their sight

Their journey halfway, they steeled themselves

The land of dragons, was where they would delve

There was no question, no shaking the thought

Her friend was much more, someone Dash sought

The dragon they met, was thankfully quite nice

Now they'd seek passage, through Fire and Ice

The capital city was swarming with brutes

Diplomatic solutions, no longer a route

But Scar was quite clever, and in the end

He held all the cards, and helped his new friends

The duo departed, with medallions from king

Finally! Equestria... so happy they'd sing

She was someone that made, Dash feel quite calm

Someone to ease into, somewhat like balm

The town they found, was surprisingly charming

But then something stirred, something alarming

Trapped in memories of those long since passed

Both fillies panicked, they had to leave fast

Through confronting the spirit, the guardian nearby

They were released, as free as the sky

The questioned had followed her, poked her, needled her

Dash had once felt, the answer beneath her

But now her thoughts threatened, to come to full bloom

Her feelings for Fluttershy, she'd need to tell soon

Before that could happen, the fillies confronted

The last leg in their journey, a forest that hunted

Its hunt soon brought forth, a storm: lightning, twister

A battered Fluttershy: alive. Dash would have kissed her

They recounted their tale, told those who'd listen

Their adventure at sea, through dragons and then some

Visitors left, so Fluttershy could sleep

The only one left, was a friend who felt meek

Dash saw through a door, with Fluttershy there

She was scared

Unprepared

But ready, heart bare
