  20. 2.7 - inference - C (Mature redwood forests are discussed as an example of a climax community in a temperate zone.)
  21. 2.11 - paraphrase - D (This is the only answer choice that mentions stability and “thinking”. A also mentions stability, but reverses diversity and patchiness from the original.)
  22. 3.7 - vocabulary - D (This is almost always what “virtually” means.)
