- 3.14 - summary - 1 3 6 (6 is the most general statement about the solution to the problem introduced in 3) - The correct choices in a summary question usually summarize at least one complete paragraph.
- 2.7 - inference - C (Mature redwood forests are discussed as an example of a climax community in a temperate zone.)
- 2.11 - paraphrase - D (This is the only answer choice that mentions stability and “thinking”. A also mentions stability, but reverses diversity and patchiness from the original.)
- 3.7 - vocabulary - D (This is almost always what “virtually” means.)
