  6. So you want to max R&D in 5 minutes but don't want to leave R&D, let alone science? Well to bad, that's not going to happen. This guide however, is fairly close.

  9. Firstly, the fast list, for people that know what they're doing and just want a list of things to deconstruct.

  44. Get a sheet of plasma from the testing lab (worth taking the metal and glass also).
  45. Head back to R&D, you won't have to leave again.
  46. Grab a micro manipulator, a capacitor and a high cap battery. Also take a full toolbox, and the welder from the 2nd toolbox.
  47. Insert some metal and glass into the protolathe and circuit machine, plus the acid. Make a flamethrower (screwdriver the welder, add a rod, don't need to add anything else for this), then get to deconstructing.

  57. Now print a nano manipulator and an RPE.
  58. Upgrade the circuit machine with the nano manipulator and re link it to the console.

  67. This should leave you with the following levels. If you don't have these, you're a fucking idiot and didn't read the guide.

  80. After that, Sync your research, both for robotics and in case you lose all your research due to FUN.

  82. Then print x5 pico manipulators and x5 super matter bins. upgrade all three machines and re-link them to the console.

  84. Print another Chem dispenser board, and a exosuit fabricator board, and build them in R&D.
  85. You'll need to print some more parts to make them, just make sure you use the best parts you have available.

  87. Once built, use the chem dispenser to top up your acid in the circuit imprinter, stick some metal and glass into the exosuit fab, and get to work.

  91. Tracking beacon (Protolathe) - Bluespace 2

  94. Now sync the console, and then sync the exofab.

  106. Sync all your shit, and your research should look like this.

  119. At this point, you've done everything you can without external help. To progress further, you'll need miners to bring you minerals, and cargo to get you a combat shotgun.

  121. Feel free to harass or bribe them to try get these faster (miners usually do their job, the shotgun sometimes can take effort).
  122. Once you have that shit, you can finish up R&D.

  124. Firstly, put a few sheets of every mineral into the protolathe - you can usually just dump the rest in the exofab, or leave them on the floor until needed.

  126. Then fully upgrade your un-upgraded machines (mainly the destructive analyser, but might as well do the chem dispenser and exofab while you're at it).

  132. Combat shotgun (Cargo) - Combat 6

  138. And that's it, if you followed this exactly, you'll have all research maxed as far as you need for (almost) everything. Just remember to sync the console and exofab, and you're set to build whatever you want.
