Pynmui: The rat-man-beast has a large slash-wound across his stomach-- his hands cover the flowing blood. He seems serious but it's hard to see his face under his helmet.

Pynmui investigates the open wound (roll investigation 1d20+2=21) - is it possible to stem in any way? (medicine 1d20+1=19)

Cai:
Pynmui: It's a deep wound. Looks like it was inflicted by a blade. (dont roll medicine unless uh ave like... medicine or bandages or something. unless uh ave

something youd like to use to bandage or something)

Aera:

Pynmui: The rat informs you that the wound was inflicted by a warlord by the name of Primm. He tells you that Primm's encampment is located north, and that

Primm hoards some very powerful potions.

Aera:
(ok... I suppose answering to 2nd with 1st is less awkward...)
I clean out the wound as well as I can, and also ask the rat if he's be ok with

removing helmet and me using part of his clothing as bandaging

Cai:
(his helmet is metal)

Aera:
(so it's nonremovable???)
(oh yeah and for cleaning out the wound roll medicine 1d20+1=19)

Cai:
Pynmui: The rat informs you that he is uncomfortable with removing his helmet but thanks you for cleaning out his wound. His wound is not completely healed but the bleeding is no longer as severe.

Aera:
"No problem," I nod to the rat. After a brief silence, I ask "Could you tell me more about Primm? And whatever else is going on here, I suppose."

Cai:
Pynmui: The rat tells you that Primm is a powerful swordsman and that his men exclusively use longswords. He also tells you that you don't need to fight his men if you end up just taking out Primm first.

Aera:
(i get the feeling you're trying to send me on a quest hereeeee)
I ask the rat "So... who has Primm been fighting against?"

Cai:
Pynmui: The rat informs you the Primm is only one of many warlords that took out his army. He tells you that Primm took over what was originally his encampment in a large-scale raid.

Aera:
"Are there any other warlords like Primm in the region? What are they like?" I ask. May as well see what I can learn from this rat.

Cai:
Pynmui: The rat informs you that there are many warlords upon this land, and that he cannot list so many. Not only that, but he is unsure which warlords are where-- the only warlord's location he is sure of is Primm's, as he was the one who left the wound on him.

Aera:
"Are they all fighting for land? ... and speaking of land, do you happen to have any sort of map of this region?"

Cai:
Pynmui: The rat informs you they've already won the land... the land which he and his men originally ruled. He does not have a map for you but tells you he has a weapon for you, if you'd like it.

Aera:
"Sure." I ask to see the weapon.

Cai:
Pynmui: He hands you a steel kris. It has a faint blue glow to it. Engraved on the blade are three tally marks.

Aera:
I ask what the tally marks represent?

Cai:
Pynmui: He tells you that the tally marks represent the number of warlords that blade has slain; that it is alive, like you and him; that it is an ally and a

blade.

Aera:
I adjust my grip on the weapon to show a little more reverence, and ask him why it glows blue.

Cai:
Pynmui: He tells you he is unsure of its glow's significance. He only recently met him in these woods.

Aera:
I ask the rat how he met this blade?

(aera it's from speed dating from a friend. that's how they met)

Aera:
( ah yes definitely. i assume the blacksmith was the friend)

Cai:
Pynmui: The rat says that he found the blade one night while walking through the woods. It was dark so its glow lead him to the dirk. However, as soon as he went over to pick it up he was jumped by three warlords-- Pike, Gank, and Strip.
