AVM FCC situation

Hello,

thank you for your interest in AVM products. Unfortunately,
AVM does not currently make products for export to the
american markets.  Currently, our 'International' and 'German'
product versions are not suitable for use in the USA or
Canada.

There has not yet been a firm decision from corporate
management when we will undertake steps to formally launch
products for export to the Americas. While the hardware
complies with the general implimented technologies, our
equipment has not been submitted for offical certification
and FCC authorization.  Localization to electrical requirments,
cables/plugs and, where applicable, radio frequencies would
be a further requirement. It is unlikely that the situation will
change in the near future.
