  1. Lincoln had certainly been in less precarious situations. You’d think that after living with ten girls for so long, having another in the house for just one weekend couldn’t be so bad. It was either due to double standard or due to his age that Lincoln’s parents were able to convince the parents of Ronnie Anne Santiago to spend the weekend at his home for the next couple of days. The only catch was that the two would have to be chaperoned by one of Lincoln’s older siblings.
  2.
  3. It seemed like all of Lincoln’s older siblings were busy that weekend. Lori decided she had better things to do, like texting bobby. Leni being Leni, was deemed not the best at watching over others and overall being a leader. Luna was away for the day, attending a concert with friends, and wouldn’t be back until tomorrow afternoon. While Luan means well, the Loud parents knew that the young couple would rather not be subjected to Luan’s onslaught of puns. The only other possible candidate was…
  4. “But I don’t want to watch over Lincoln and his stupid ‘date’”, Lynn had said with some venom in her words. Said venomous sentence was lost on her parents’ ears.
  5.
  6. “Young lady, you’re going to watch over your brother and his… friend and that’s that,” her mother had said to her.
  7.
  8. “Besides, you could see this as a chance to get to know the woman Lincoln will be spending his life with,” Her father said jokingly, prompting a short elbow jab by his spouse.
  9.
  10. Even though she hid it well, the very thought of another girl taking Lincoln, her only brother, away, pained her. She tried making herself feel better by seeing this as an opportunity to see if Lincoln’s ‘girlfriend’ is really up to snuff.
  11.
  12. Lincoln was in his room, a mix of both excitement and anxiousness clouding his mind. Sure he’s had sleepovers with Clyde before this would be the first time he’d have a girl over for such an extensive period of time. He was pacing around his room, coming up with scenarios on how the entire ordeal could go. He found himself vexed by a question he didn’t expect he’d need to answer so early in his young life, “What do girls even like?” Living with sisters all his life, Lincoln had come into contact with so many different personalities a female could have.
  13.
  14. Before he had a mini panic attack, he heard a knock at his door, surprising considering the lack of privacy this family practiced. “Lincoln? Are you in there?” He heard a voice ask. “Lynn? What could she want?” Lincoln thought to himself, maybe she wanted to give him a few ‘playful’ jabs before leaving him and Ronnie Anne alone while she stayed there. He opened the door, something seemed off about his older sister but he decided to ignore it.
  15.
  16. “Hey,” she said, “Sooooo yeah, mom and dad want me to watch over the two of you. I’m pretty sure there’s no use in arguing with them. I already tried that.”
  17.
  18. “What?!” Lincoln was taken by surprise. Great, another factor he didn’t think about. “Well… then can you try not to embarrass me or anything tonight,” Lincoln demanded.
  19.
  20. “Don’t worry, I’m sure you’ll end up doing that on your own.” She smirked, he was still the same dork that she’d come to know and love.
  21.
  22. Lincoln was about to retort when he heard the doorbell ring. It might as well have been his death knell. His open window made it easy to hear any talking outside. “Well hello there, little miss,” he heard his father said. “Lincoln! Your guest is here!” Lincoln had left his room in a hurry, leaving Lynn in his room by herself, he could have sworn he heard her sigh but he passed it off as nothing.
  23.
  24. Just getting to the stairs was an obstacle with his remaining sisters refusing to clean up after themselves. He nearly tripped over Lola’s table as he tried not stepping on Izzie as Lana played with her lizard in the middle of the hall. Lisa had spilt some chemicals causing Lincoln to slide, at least he was going in the directing of the stairw- aaand he slid past the stairway into another of Luan’s attempts at pieing people. Some would say she has perfect comedic timing. Her siblings however think otherwise.
  25.
  26. “Good job, Linc. Way to keep your PIE on the prize!” She did her iconic giggle and kept one eye closed, pointing at her open one as she retreated into her room, victorious. Lincoln on the other hand felt defeated. He stomped down the stairs his goal accomplished but he was too preoccupied to remember why.
  27.
  28. “Ugh. Could this day get any worse?!” Lincoln yelled out, practically tempting fate.
  29.
  30. “Hey, loser,” he heard. He turned to the side and saw the one he’d be spending quite a lot of time with this weekend, Ronnie Anne Santiago.
  31.
  32. “R-Ronnie Anne, uh, hey…” Lincoln said, surprised that she didn’t start with a more scathing remark at his predicament. He leaned against the wall, trying to salvage whatever ‘coolness’ he had, and honestly, it wasn’t much to begin with.
  33. Instead of her usual snide remarks whenever Lincoln did anything even remotely ‘uncool’, Ronnie Anne approached the pie-faced loud, wiping some of the pie onto her finger and sucking her finger clean.
  34.
  35. “I gotta say, Loud… Your cream sure does taste good.” She gave him a mischievous wink. He was put off by her suggestive words. She gave him a punch on the arm before making her way up the stairs. “We’ll be sleeping in your room, right? From what you’ve told me, it’s a tight fit but still provides a satisfying night.”
  36.
  37. “Yeah, I just thought it’d be good since it’s… the three of us.” Lincoln said, realizing that he never got around to telling her about the big change in their plans. He followed her up the stairs.
  38.
  39. “The three of us? Then whose-,” before Ronnie Anne could finish her sentence she bumped into Lynn, her roommate for Ronnie Anne’s entire stay. Due to Lynn being a bit taller and used to rough sports like football and hockey, she stood her ground, Ronnie Anne on the other hand was knocked onto the ground.,”
  40.
  41. Lincoln rushed over to the two and helped Ronnie Anne up. “Are you okay,” Lincoln asked her, expecting but all dreading a possible physical engagement between the two.
  42.
  43. “I’m fine just bumped into-,” fearing the idea of Ronnie Anne making fun of Lynn in any way he quickly interjected.
  44.
  45. “My sister, Lynn. Lynn this is Ronnie Anne. Ronnie Anne, Lynn.” Lincoln tried to salvage the moment by introducing them to each other for them. He mentally gave himself a pat on the back for his quick thinking.
  46.
  47. “Hey,” Ronnie Anne said, a bit uninterested in the idea of introductions. Lynn wasn’t all that jazzed to be in this situation either, she still decided to at least give her a greeting by waving.
  48.
  49. "I’m gonna go… get ready for tonight, later, Linc,” Lynn said as she left to go to her room, leaving Lincoln with a concerned expression. He would have gone after her if he hadn’t noticed Ronnie Anne making her way into Lincoln’s room.
