  1. Samson, Spoiled Bard (Mage Fighter) and Millicent, Streetwise Dancer (Dancer)
  2. -Samson and Millicent were blessed with a happy wedded life and good fortunes, Samson able to ride his fame as a war hero to begin a true career in writing plays, poems, songs, novels, all of which would last the ages. Millie, meanwhile, was able to advance her career as a dancer, establishing a dancing school later on in her life, after she and her husband were through with their not-at-all infrequent continental travel.
  3.
  4. Tilty, Cat (Cat)
  5. -Samson brought Tiltyu everywhere he went for the rest of the cat's natural life, drawing inspiration from her humorous antics to create a genre change in his writings after the "important" historical documentation and epics were done. "Tilly the Cat's" series of misadventures were among the first widely-accessible literature aimed at younger audiences, and Samson would keep writing them all of his life. They were good money, and he felt good writing them.
  6.
  7. Norman, Genius Hunter (Sniper)
  8. -Norman lived a modest life in the woods of Holmstead, hunting and selling its beasts and living alone. He visited his friends and family often, and supported his parents financially in their autumn years.
  9.
  10. Lazare, Humanitarian (Wind Mage)
  11. -Lazare happily never saw another battle in his life, dedicating his mind and energy equally to aiding the poor and teaching anthropology at Holmstead's academy. Eventually, he would remarry with a fellow nonviolent intellectual.
  12.
  13. Fabrice, Immaculate Tactician (Sorcerer)
  14. -Fabrice served the most successful of Noba's duchies for much of his life, before retiring to peddle makeups and cosmetics of his own design. His is now a household name among those familiar with makeup, even centuries later.
  15.
  16. Dinah, Reliable Knight (Sword General) and Edwyg, Arena Survivor (Gold Knight)
  17. -Dinah and Edwyg served together in the knighthood of the duchy holding Holmstead for decades, setting examples for up-and-coming fighters. While Dinah was able to make peace with unstated past demons, Edwyg turned her life around more overtly, living an honest life and mostly staying out of serious trouble.
  18.
  19. Adam, Man of the Sea (Berserker)
  20. -Adam found his calling returning to the seafarer's life, now under the banner of the new and improved Dory Company.
  21.
  22. Adelais, Ocean Heiress (Swordmaster)
  23. -The Dory trade company would eventually flourish under the guidance of its newest head, despite initial doubts due to her brother and father's demise costing the company a LOT of able workers. Each of the next several generations of her family would see the Dory company grow closer and closer to its roots in piracy, though eventually the family line would give rise to a true heroine who would reshape Teege's future...
  24.
  25. Hal, Dull Thunder (Sage)
  26. -Hal didn't travel much after the war ended, preferring to keep to Holmstead where getting lost didn't mean horrific deserts. He did, however, keep in touch with many of those he met on his journeys.
  27.
  28. Taniel, Impressive Leader (General)
  29. -Taniel wound up overseeing the reformation of much of the Central region of the former Gerxel empire, much of it being turned into a new, quite large nation.
  30.
  31. Amanda, Exists I Guess (Halberdier)
  32. -Amanda worked loyally under General Taniel even during peacetime, though she never did stop looking desperately for her former friend...
  33.
  34. Sara: Well-intended Ice Dragon (Ice Dragon) and Felix, Cautious Tactician (Light Sage)
  35. -Sara spent awhile traveling with her younger brother, keeping him company in his times of grief. It was at this time that Felix relocated the Lords of Chance to the former desert region, setting a precedent for magical authority and mercenary presence in the bustling region. When Felix grew to feel better about his losses, slightly, Sara traveled the world some more, being one of very few people in her time to visit lands outside of Teege.
  36.
  37. Dyrus, Mature Prince (Prince) and Winona, Heroic Dragon-rider (Wyvern Lord)
  38. -Dyrus and Winona would often spend long trips looking for clues as to where Rene had gone, but these faded as the couple grew older, began to consider their responsibilities as the current queen aged. When the passage of tragic time would lead to Dyrus ascending to the throne, he would be remembered as one of Neir's most respected leaders. Winona's heroic streak was tempered with age, turning her into a still-bold but less impulsive leader as time went on.
  39.
  40. Darren, Retiree (Warrior)
  41. -Darren set aside his axe and armor forever, instead opting to advise his daughter-in-law and grandson whenever required. He still spoke to his son and granddaughter regularly many years after their deaths.
  42.
  43. Via, Icy Maid (Maid)
  44. -Despite Millicent's advice, Via would spend a long time regretting not having acted sooner on her attraction to the future king. Despite that, however, she never once faltered in her professional treatment of her liege and his castle, or her undying loyalty to her friends.
  45.
  46. Belle, Stone-faced Bodyguard (Falconknight) and Marduk, Elder Brother (Wyvern Lord)
  47. -Marduk and Belle's descendants would serve the house of the Neirhalm family for generations, most often atop pegasi, in positions of great esteem and power.
  48.
  49. Nia, Younger Sister (Wyvern Lord)
  50. -Nia would resume regular scouting missions, though her optimism and cute demeanor made her quite popular around the castle town for a time.
  51.
  52. Doran, Foul Archer (Sniper)
  53. -Doran returned to his humble hometown, where he reconciled with his father and went into the family business of weapon forging. He would often sell to the Lords of Chance at impressive discounts.
  54.
  55. Hauteclere, Troubled Queen (Wyvern Monarch) Hauteclere would lead the nation of Neir for decades to come, a respected and revered figure in Neir history.
  56.
  57. Nahuel, Tarvosian Nomad (Nomad Trooper)
  58. -Nahuel would be the first of many Tarvosians of the soon-to-be renamed to Tarvos Valley to answer directly to the Neir royal family over the course of the long cooperation between both societies.
  59.
  60. Rene, Tragedy Empress (Empress) and Cicero, Anxious Assassin (Assassin)
  61. -Though Rene and her followers would spend much of their remaining lives in hiding, Rene and Cicero were still quite happy together, opting to start a family even under such conditions. Rene would try her best to raise her future children with the same conviction that she has, while Cicero would teach them his courtesy and loyalty as he began to reform the Peshkatz school in secret.
  62.
  63. Veiz, Dedicated Sister (Grim Shot) and Alfred, Rough-and-tumble Swordsman
  64. -Veiz would live the longest life out of Rene's followers, carrying on her spirit to revive the Gerxel over centuries after the rest of her friends could do the same until it became her sole goal in life. For many of these decades, Alfred accompanied her unquestioningly and lovingly.
  65.
  66. Saye, Canine Pariah (Wolfseggner)
  67. -A spiteful Felix would see to it that Saye's worst fear was realized: future generations of Garou would see her as an overzealous Gerxel-loyalist whose choice proved integral in her people's postwar fall from grace, and a murderous traitor. Despite this, she remained a loyal friend to Rene.
  68.
  69. Kristina, Foulmouthed Summoner (Summoner)
  70. -Kristina would forever be noted as one of the more... Unpleasant members of Rene's inner circle, but her intellect only grew as she aged, while it's said her temper lessened just slightly.
  71.
  72. Ludwig, Normal Sorcerer (Sorcerer)
  73. -Not much is written about Ludwig after his decision to remain with Rene, but it is presumed by historians that he never went back on it. He thought often of his mother, but it's unknown if they ever met again.
  74.
  75. Augustus, Young Conqueror (Great Knight)
  76. -Augustus Noba died thread 5. After Jovan died later in the war, there really was no one person left for the nation of Noba to rally behind, eventually being run by its three most powerful duchies, mostly independent of one another. Despite differences flaring up between the three, however, they never once vied to overthrow one another, perhaps as a testament to the memory of their first and only king, August.
  77.
  78. Raleigh, Visionary (Bard)
  79. -Raleigh died before chapter 8. His works, published both in life and posthumously, were studied and consumed by scholars, historians, and literary fans even countless centuries after his demise, however, so those who knew him would say that, were he there, he'd insist he never truly died. His contemporaries were directly inspired by his works, and historical plays and dramas exploded in popularity in the years surrounding his death.
  80.
  81. Gerard, Golden-headed Golden-heart (Soldier)
  82. -Gerard died chapter 11, and is only remembered as a footnote by history thanks to the writings of his companions at the time.
  83.
  84. Marion, Washed-up Master (Mage Fighter)
  85. -Marion died chapter 18. Her son, however, spoke to as many people as he could who knew about her, some even during the course of the war, building from it a fascinating and sentimental biography about a troubled, restless warrior with so very little to fight for. History would consider her one of the era's more intriguing figures.
  86.
  87. Denim, Airborne Intellectual (Self-propelled Dark Flier)
  88. -Denim died chapter 21. He would remain a controversial figure in Vautou history, despite Chief Paisley's approval, his belief in the use of magic and cooperation with humanity only really being adopted long after his death, outside of limited examples of neutral terms with Hautclere and her son.
  89.
  90. Omar, Pacifistic Imperial (Curate)
  91. -Omar died chapter 33. Rene and her crew would remember his kindness and dutifulness fondly, often wondering whether or not he would approve of their actions, but seldom acting on these thoughts.
  92.
  93. Laurise, Tactical Twin (Princess)
  94. -Laurise died chapter 40. Nobody who knew her was quite the same after her passing, even if they did, for the most part, recover and move on with their lives. For her sake as much as their own, partially.
  95.
  96. Conrad, Bastard Bandit (Warrior)
  97. -Conrad died chapter 45. His brief time active fighting the nation of Neir in its youth would have him remembered as one of history's most hated, vilified criminals, and a historical speculation point for Rene's moral compass' failure.
  98.
  99. Jack, Ordinary Soldier (Halberdier) and Riley, Ordinary Swordswoman (Swordmaster)
  100. -Jack and Riley died chapter 46. They would've been forgotten outright by history was it not for a guilt-ridden Samson making sure to mention them often in his quite voluminous memoirs.
  101.
  102. Fortune, Lady of Chance (Hero)
  103. -Fortune died chapter 50. The Lords of Chance that she founded would be led by Felix after her death, and would set up a more permanent shop in the northern deserts. This would be the beginning of the popularity of the desert region as a gathering place for the mercenary business.
