  1. PokeAus Plot Synopsis
  2.
  3. (I'm terrible when it comes to names, so you guys can fill those in, along with all the other many details.)
  4.
  5. Boy and Girl and Dude live in a small town (maybe located at the bottom left corner of Australia?).
  6. On TV something about some Pokemon ranger doing something cool, inspiring our three protagonists to go out and search for Pokemon.
  7. Dude says he thought he saw the Professor in the neighboring town come by Route 1 (or 101 or 100001 or whatever. has no tall grass like Gen VI) Dude, being the excitable type, runs in to the route. Once Boy and Girl catch up, though, they see the Professor and Dude being assaulted by a wild Pokemon's surprise attack. Kind of like in Gen III or IV, Boy grabs a starter and thwart off the threat. Dude is a bit shaken up by the event, and the Professor muses on why a Pokemon not native to the route attacked (wild Pokemon has to be way out there, like from the desert route or something, idk)
  8.
  9. The Professor leads us to his/her/xsleir lab in the second town (kind of like gen IV) and the usual beginning hoopla. Rivals will fight outside the lab right after they choose their starters.
  10.
  11. Route 2 > Town > another path (early game forest?) > Gym Town
  12. The next path is a dry grassland. At the end, another non-native fire Pokemon is causing a field fire. After subduing the Pokemon (catch or faint), the local water gym leader puts out the fire. Here is where we see our antagonist group. Placeholder names: Team Evil and Dr. Evil. Their goal is to try and convince people that Pokemon are dangerous (and really, it's hard to disagree). Dude empathizes from the incident at Route 1. Arguments are divided between the Pokemon starting the fire, or the Pokemon putting out the fire.
  13.
  14. Some other locations throughout the game can include desert town, subterranean town (help built by Pokemon, a symbiotic relationship), Sydney clone, beaches, etc. along with miscellaneous events. Oasis at the edge of the desert that has several exit/ entry points that we loop back around to often like in Lumiose City. Their culture revolves around the Whale God of Dream Time and how it gave life in such an unlikely place like the desert and rest of PokeAusland.
  15.
  16. First water route will be between mainland and New Zealand. Fourth gym probably will grant the ability to surf, and down we go to not-Zealand. Here is where team evil's HQ is located (top island), but will be inaccessible and unknown until later in the game. Ice gym leader up in the snowy mountains and Fly HM too.
  17.
  18. More shenanigans until we get to the not-Great Barrier Reef. It is said that the Whale God reside within the reefs and appear every year to bring life-giving rain from its spout. But team evil is there trying to dig in through the reef to capture the Whale. Their goal is to take the Giver of Life and control it to eradicate all wild Pokemon by reversing its effect (think that The Whale gave us the privilege of life, and bring the death of Pokemon by revoking said privilege). Upon harpooning (or some other form of non-pokeball capture) The Whale, it becomes enraged and spews out a dark storm cloud, and the Reef is now in perpetual storm and wild Pokemon no longer spawn in this location. Dude, with the events that has happened up to this point, feel Pokemon shouldn't run wild and joins team evil. They take The Whale and scram.
  19.
  20. Go back to Not-Zealand, HQ is accessible now. Not-Zealand is also rainy and no wild Pokemon. After fighting through the HQ, you get to Dr. Evil. Dude pops out and tries to convince you that you are wrong, fight, beat him. Dr. Evil then confronts you personally. After the battles, time was being wasted while a machine was secretly charging up. Dr. Evil is finally in position to unleash his true plan: to use The Whale to destroy ALL Pokemon and be in ultimate power. The wild Pokemon who attacked were actually planted by them to gain more support to their cause. Using some machinery doohickey, The Whale becomes so enraged that it swallows everyone into the Dream Realm (our version of the Dreamtime). Friends and foes alike slowly fade away into the stars within Dream Realm, reverting to when everybody was one soul (think End of Evangelion), Dr. Evil realizing too late such power cannot be controlled by a mere man such as himself, and that his actions has brought the end of life in its entirety. It is now up to you to subdue The Whale God (catch it or beat it).
  21.
  22. Upon success, everything is reverted back to normal. You go on with the Pokemon league with the Elite Four at not-Tasmania and yaaaay ta-da woopdidoo the end
