  1. 1. (SpyDoC) You state in your Steam group that you plan to host teams for many different games, along side streamers and YouTubers. Which aspect are you planning to focus the most on, the entertainment side (youtube/streams) or the professional teams?
  2.
  3. (Mr Mathy) Well we will focus on both the professional side and the entertainment side in the beginnig. They both deserve attention and respect so that is what we want to give them. If we look in the future, the streamers and youtubers can work more solo and by them self by doing streams and videos. The teams that play for Quantum though, they need to deal with the costs of entering in competition and travelling to LANs. That is where we and our sponsors come in. So to get everything started, we focus equally on teams and on entertainers. When we get things rolling and the streamers and youtubers are up on their feet, our focus will go more to the professional and amateur teams.

  6. 2. Out of the 3 main e-sports you are looking into (LoL, CS:GO, Hearthstone) which do you expect to see the most success out of, and why?
  7.
  8. We think that currently we'll have more success the in the CS:GO section, and if we have a League team the most success will lay there. Quantum will give all eSports the same love, but some of them will have a bigger fanbase than others and League is the biggest one right now.
  9.
  10.
  11. 3. What kind of goals are you setting for your organization and it's teams/streamers within it's first year?
  12.
  13. We are looking for at least a European and a NA team for our three main games right now. Soon Quantum will start the search for sponsors who will help to support our teams. The eSports division can also be expended to COD, Dota, Heroes of the Storm and Starcraft, however that growth depends on how many fans we have and sponsorships. Streamers wise Quantum would like to help out a handfull of players in the first year. We just started and our first year will be focussed on growing so that we create an intresting scene for sponsors, who will help us create chances for our players.

  16. 4. With so many new organizations jumping into e-sports recently, what does your org have that will set them apart from others?
  17.
  18. Playerwise we've noticed that thare are many young, talented players out there with great potential, but just lack good support. Quantum wants to give those players a chance to grow and play competitive/stream for a great audiance within the organisation. On the management side, we are extremely motivated people that will do anything to succeed. If we have tons of questions that need answering, than we'll stay up almost all night to answer those. The fanbase is really important to us.
  19.
  20.
  21. 5. In terms of the LoL team, are you looking to sign individual players and build your own team, or are you looking to sign an existing team off of the Ranked 5's ladder?
  22.
  23. We'd like to keep our options open on that one. In League it's very important to have a good synergy. So it would be better to acquire an entire team that have been playing for a long time and build some good synergy. But on the otherhand, soloqueue players can also have great synergy.
  24.
  25.
  26. 6. Do either you (I'm assuming Mr. Mathy) or Vetsoo have experience running a team/business in the past?
  27.
  28. We've not run a businesses in the past, but what be both have is a certificate in business managment. If businesses were only run by people with tons of experience the world wouldn't know many companies, sometimes all you need is a lot of motivation and the will to succeed.
  29.
  30.
  31. 7. What made you want to create such a complex organization as Quantum, instead of sticking to one e-sport? / What made you want to create an org in general?
  32.
  33. We started off as a group of friends playing different games. Now and then our group would go to LAN's to test our skills. At those event there were a lot of people willing to join the group. So we basicly had a small local organisation. But then we asked ourselves why only stay local? Why can't we give people across the world a chance to grow in eSports.

  35.
  36. 8. Are any of your teams competing in any upcoming tournaments?
  37.
  38. We are competing at Esports Festival here in Belgium (3-5th of July), For now Quantum will join the Hearthstone and CSGO tournaments and currently we are still looking for a LoL team that will represent us there. Another tournament we'll attend will be Frag-o-matic in september. As an organisation we want to compete at more tournaments, at more more games( COD, DOTA, HOTS, starcraft) in multiple countries. But for that we'll need more name recognition, so Quantum can get sponsored to financially support our players at those tournaments.
