  1. Aurora stepped onto the roof, letting out a pleased sigh as the cool air blew across her skin. She was glad for it, as what she was about to train for would surely cause her to sweat. Her goal was for one thing. To be able to use the magic her family had been able to utilize ever since their blood had been mixed with an Angels.
  2.
  3. It was something called Advent, something she had only seen her father use once. It was a pretty magic, one that apparently took the form of a wing on ones back, a wing that more acted as a mana battery. From pestering her father about it, Aurora had learned that in order to fully utilize the power of their Family, one had to practice using mana stored in said battery- not from oneself. It would be tricky to do, Aurora knew that for a fact. For one had to constantly recharge the 'battery' as it is drained.
  4.
  5. But before that, Aurora had one thing she felt she needed to do. Sitting down upon the roof cross legged, she began to both meditate and pray, dwelling on what her convictions really were and how Kraus could guide her - along with the Stars, of course. After all, it was through one of Kraus' angels that she would even get the opportunity.
  6. (Aurora Rosengard)
  7.
  8. Kraus. The Stars.
  9.
  10. One was a deity that fed her His power, the other were celestial bodies that fed her theirs. The combination had proved to be pretty fluent, her ability to fuse Holy magic with her earth proving to be deadly to whatever she faced off against. Aurora was constantly in contact with the Stars, that was never a problem.
  11.
  12. Kraus, was one she had not really done much for. Yeah she worshipped him, said a prayer every now and then, but it wasn't enough. The cultists of Belial whole heartedly worshipped their demon every day, and look at how far it had brought them. What if Danariums lack of worship was to blame for the large string of bad luck?
  13.
  14. Kraus. She began her prayer, not intending for it to be a very long one. I haven't been the best Follower, and nor has Danarium. I ask for your forgiveness, and for your strength in the upcoming battles against the scourge that is the Cult of Belial. Please; lend me your strength, and guide me through these troubling times. It was a start. Aurora was still kind of new to the whole thing, having just given half hearted prayers before.
  15.
  16. But, the times were a changing.
  17. (Aurora Rosengard)
  18.
  19. And with that, she was done. Pushing herself up off of the floor, she stretched momentarily. Meditating on the cold stone of the tower... She'd definitely do it elsewhere, next time. Maybe in the confines of her room, where it was always a constant pleasant temperature.
  20.
  21. Shaking her head, she refocused her attention on the task at hand. Calling forth the warmness that was His power, she stared for a moment. How exactly was she going to do it? Aurora had only a slight idea on how, but she had never just moved concentrated mana into one place before. And then tried to rely on that, whilst keeping it there.
  22.
  23. Better late than never, though. Closing her eyes, she projected her mana outward, moving it towards her shoulder. The glow was intense, especially being packed into one small battery like wing. Though it's not long before the light died down at Auroras will, before it looked just like a solid gold wing that pulsated ever so slightly.
  24.
  25. Already, Aurora could feel the strain. To keep so much mana outside of her body, it was a constant drain. To test herself even further, the young Rosengard began to walk around, testing her ability to multitask whilst keeping the mana battery constantly there upon her back. It wasn't too hard; walking, at least. The other stuff would come later.
  26.
  27. For now though, the mana is released. She more wanted to see what it felt like for a few minutes, to see what she was getting herself in to. And, in result? It would be a challenge.
  28. (Aurora Rosengard)
