  5. [2016-03-16 13:30:15] <Mare-Do-Well> 3Pan glares at the captains, his face full of displeased smiles. "I've got an idea! Why don't you, you, you..." he starts pointing at the Captain of each of the six most powerful pirate families, "...you, you, (and I guess) you each pick someone you trust from your crew and send them /with/ these ponies to go fetch your pretty, precious cup!?"
  6. [2016-03-16 13:30:24] <Mare-Do-Well> 3"That way, nostripe can steal it from anystripe!" CopyCat realizes, bizarrely, that she is hearing the chaos spirit speak in every language she knows simultaneously. Golden_Dream, meanwhile, is only hearing it in Equestrian. "Okay? Good!..."
  7. [2016-03-16 13:30:55] <Mare-Do-Well> 3Pan snaps his fingers. It is like the sound of thunder. The /Skullcrusher/ pirate airship is instantly transformed into the /Skullcrusher/ submarine. The now-detached balloons begin to float upwards as the ship begins to fall.

  9. [2016-03-16 13:31:24] <Mare-Do-Well> 3The sea serpent angles for another attack. The cannons roar (a rather disconcerting sound underwater).
  10. [2016-03-16 13:31:30] <Mare-Do-Well> 3The sea serpent is struck several times. The monster jerks and rushes away, trailing blood in the water.
  11. [2016-03-16 13:31:39] <Mare-Do-Well> 3Mitzi frowns and braces herself against the floor, taking care not to jap her claws through any of the walls
  12. [2016-03-16 13:31:46] <Mare-Do-Well> 3Swarms of glowing fish converge, following the blood trail.
  13. [2016-03-16 13:31:53] <Mare-Do-Well> 3Water continues to spray into the ship as Shatara guides it upwards.
  14. [2016-03-16 13:32:03] <Mare-Do-Well> 3Bookwright flips open a notebook. "Red scaled sea serpent immediately attacked us when we crossed the portal. However, cannon fire has injured it and the trail of red blood has attracted other smaller fish... they are bioluminescent."
  15. [2016-03-16 13:32:43] <Mare-Do-Well> 3Get_Lost cries out, "the freezinator! close the breach with it NOW or we will lose speed!" She warns, "if too much water comes in we wil lstart to sink!"
  16. [2016-03-16 13:32:55] <Mare-Do-Well> 3Bookwright reluctantly stops writing and puts the notebook away. "Fine. Shatara, which bag has the freezinator?"
  17. [2016-03-16 13:33:04] <Mare-Do-Well> 3Shatara jams the controls in place with a convenient crowbar, digging out the freezinator and presenting it to Bookwright.
  18. [2016-03-16 13:33:12] <Mare-Do-Well> 3Bookwright collects it and rushes to the nearest breach, pointing the freezinator roughly at it and hoping that it doesn't explode in his face as he triggers it.

  21. [2016-03-16 13:35:45] <Mare-Do-Well> 3Get_Lost's plan is a success. Seconds later, the crack is frozen over with ice. Sharp jags of ice jut from it where the spraying water froze.
  22. [2016-03-16 13:38:10] <Mare-Do-Well> 3Under Shatara's guidance, the /Skullcrusher/ rises to the top of the lake. There is a thud as the roof of the submersible strikes something above. A loud scraping sound scours across the hull as the ship breaks the surface. There is nothing out the windows but darkness, indistinguishable from the lake depths.

  24. [2016-03-16 13:39:58] * Get_Lost slow down the engines to minimum and trots upstairs with the others "are we on the surface?"
  25. [2016-03-16 13:45:19] * Shatara blinks. "Thud? I don't think that's the sound the surface is supposed to make..."
  26. [2016-03-16 13:49:14] * Golden_Dream shouts out "SEA MONSTER Y' DUMB FUCKS."
  27. [2016-03-16 13:50:05] * Get_Lost sits and waits for the others to say something
  28. [2016-03-16 13:51:44] * Bookwright "Well, it could be the sound it makes as it breaks through ice."
  29. [2016-03-16 13:52:08] * Noble_Heart frowns. "Or hits the roof of a cavern." She moves towards the windows, "We require light outside!"
  30. [2016-03-16 13:53:14] * Get_Lost "or night vision..." the mare switches her sight mode and takes a look outside
  31. [2016-03-16 13:57:28] <Mare-Do-Well> 3Through the window, Get_Lost can see the surface of the lake... but only barely. There seems to be no light outside for her night vision to augment. Only that which shines through the portals of the /Skullcrusher/ provide any illumination for her enhanced vision to work with. She can, however, see large chunks of ice floating nearby.
  32. [2016-03-16 14:01:08] * Golden_Dream is huddled into the corner. Not like this! She didn't want to die without even getting a shot off!
  33. [2016-03-16 14:01:41] * Get_Lost announces "no light at all outside, i'm trying other modes..." swittches to heat vision and magical radiation
  34. [2016-03-16 14:05:01] * Get_Lost "there's a lot of ice, though"
  35. [2016-03-16 14:07:03] * Shatara checks his EFS for anything nearby. "Any sign of...anyone...?"
  36. [2016-03-16 14:09:36] <Mare-Do-Well> 3Mwana returns from below, along with the other four. He does a little victory hoofpump. Most of the others are talking amongst themselves of their defeat of the dreaded sea serpent with tones of bravado.
  37. [2016-03-16 14:11:07] * Mare-Do-Well 3lands next to Golden_Dream. "Hey... you okay?" The curled-up-in-a-corner thing is something she has experience with.
  38. [2016-03-16 14:12:10] * Noble_Heart peers out the windows a few moments, before noticing Golden_Dream, she steps up towards the smaller pony. "Don't be afraid. Wherever we are, there does not appear to be anything more dangerous than some ice. Though it is worrying that there doesn't appear to be anything out there either."
  39. [2016-03-16 14:14:16] * Golden_Dream grabs her head. Focus. There's nothing wrong. "Jus'... Sorry, sorry. I don', I'm not all that good when there's somethin' goin' wrong when m' life is on th' line and there's nothin' I c'n' do. Any chance we c'n get off this boat sometime? Get m' hooves back on ground?"
  40. [2016-03-16 14:16:32] * Get_Lost offers "don't we have that breath under water thing? the spell from princess copy"
  41. [2016-03-16 14:16:51] * Mare-Do-Well 3says, "Well, we seem to be on the surface of... wherever we are. So long as we aren't on an ocean, or a water world, we should be able to get to shore soon."
  42. [2016-03-16 14:28:09] * Noble_Heart gently places a wing around Golden_Dream. "We have arrived wherever We are going. Though there's no land in sight. There is certainly some ice. Let Us go and see if We can find a top hatch." She gently helps Golden Dream to her hooves and looks for a way up ontop of their airship-turned-submersible.
  43. [2016-03-16 14:28:59] * Get_Lost keeps scouting the surroundings with bot her heat vision and magical vision
  44. [2016-03-16 14:30:08] * CopyCat takes a deep breath and exhales, finally breaking out of her 'ever-smiling-to-insist-that-everything-was-okay-even-when-it-totally-isn't' living statue form. "We survived?" she asks. "We survived!"
  45. [2016-03-16 14:31:20] * Get_Lost offers "looks like it, until something larger arrives..."
  46. [2016-03-16 14:36:39] <Mare-Do-Well> 3Get_Lost's observations with heat vision are slightly more helpful. The surface of the lake is not uniformly covered in ice, but rather is filled with floating chunks of it, as if the iced-over surface had been shattered.
  47. [2016-03-16 14:37:40] <Mare-Do-Well> 3Her vision is able to detect the nearest edge of the lake, the ground marginally warmer than the water.
  48. [2016-03-16 14:38:15] * Get_Lost "okay, there are some parts of the surface that aren't frozen... if you proceed in that direction, we could get a decent look outside...."
  49. [2016-03-16 14:38:22] <Mare-Do-Well> 3There are no immediate signs of the /Light Fantastic/, nor the two zebras who crewed her.
  50. [2016-03-16 14:38:29] * Get_Lost "also, there is some sort of coastline"
  51. [2016-03-16 14:39:17] <Mare-Do-Well> 3Noble_Heart and Golden_Dream find the top hatch.
  52. [2016-03-16 14:39:45] * Golden_Dream quickly tries to open the top hatch.
  53. [2016-03-16 14:39:50] * Get_Lost "the arlmor in my backpack ha similar vision modes to the one i have, if we are going out in the dark, i'd like copy or noble to put it on, so that we will be able to see something"
  54. [2016-03-16 14:43:18] * CopyCat nods at Get_Lost very quickly. Then she nods again more slowly once she'd gotten a grip on herself. "If Noble prefers staying as she is then I'll wear it, Get. If I see anything on using the vision modes I can contact everyone the fastest."
  55. [2016-03-16 14:44:05] * Mitzi follows Noble and Kid topside, sharing the earth pony ' s desire for proper ground
  56. [2016-03-16 14:44:47] * Noble_Heart carefully helps Golden_Dream open the hatch, climbing out onto the top of the submarine.
  57. [2016-03-16 14:46:04] * CopyCat smiles and approaches Get_Lost. "Would you be a dear and help to 'zip me in'?" she asks the suit's brilliant inventor, fluttering her eyelashes.
  58. [2016-03-16 14:46:23] <Mare-Do-Well> 3The hatch opens, letting in a very chill, crisp wind.
  59. [2016-03-16 14:46:25] * Get_Lost nodnods and dumps the armor in front copy "yeah, sure, it will take a few minutes"
  60. [2016-03-16 14:47:15] <Mare-Do-Well> 3The air outside is at the edge of freezing. Darkness covers everything like a heavy blanket.
  61. [2016-03-16 14:48:36] * Mare-Do-Well 3flies out after Mitzi.
  62. [2016-03-16 14:49:27] * Get_Lost when the armor is finally on copy, parlay floats next to her, turns 90 degrees and attaches on one of her sides, her light turning from blue to green
  63. [2016-03-16 14:52:11] * Bookwright decides that undressing outside in the chilly wind is a poor idea, so he only clambers out of the hatch after he's changed into his winterized ranger patrol armor.
  64. [2016-03-16 14:54:03] * Golden_Dream goes outside... And then immediately goes back down. "Um. Gonna jus' go ahead and put on m' winter coat." COLD. WHY IS IT ALWAYS COLD?
  65. [2016-03-16 14:55:40] * Mare-Do-Well 3ews, "I feel... sluggish." She lands on the roof of the /Skullcrusher/.
  66. [2016-03-16 14:55:41] * Mitzi rubs her arms a bit. She had her fur, but she was not in her winter coat. "Uh cud use a scarf." She glances up at Hunter to see how he's handling it.
  67. [2016-03-16 14:56:21] * CopyCat takes an experimental step forward and finds it much much easier than when she'd tried before Parlay had attached to the suit. The little robot helped regulate the suit's workings and servos which let her move despite her lack of Power Armor training! She takes another few steps around the inside of the /Skullcrusher/, then canters around in a circle.
  68. [2016-03-16 14:56:25] * Get_Lost puts on her winter outfit "here, all ready"
  69. [2016-03-16 14:57:11] * Bookwright folds up the insulated collar. The heavy cloth bulges and squirms unnervingly as Scales adjusts herself to steal all of Bookwright's warmth. "Anypony care to go see if the water out there is salty or fresh?"
  70. [2016-03-16 14:57:54] * Get_Lost then to copy "the extra power needed from the armor is drained from your magical treshold, don't resist it or it will stop working"
  71. [2016-03-16 14:59:48] * Golden_Dream puts on her winter coat and glaaares at Bookie. "... No."
  72. [2016-03-16 14:59:58] * Mitzi slips down from the hatch in search of a scarf or hat or something to help with the cold aside from her own fur
  73. [2016-03-16 15:00:47] <Mare-Do-Well> 3Cordus Vespertilio is the first of the pirates to emerge, followed shortly by Gundi and Mwana.
  74. [2016-03-16 15:02:51] * CopyCat pops her power-armored head out the top of the submarine and turns from side to side like a periscope, observing her friends who were already outside. Even with the helmet on she gives off the undeniable impression that she's grinning widely. "This is so cool!" she cheers, and leaps from the hatch and into the air. The power suit resembles the Enclave design, but its intimidating bug-like helmet is a much
  75. [2016-03-16 15:02:51] * CopyCat more regal, feminine design. It truly was armor fit for a princess... and wouldn't be amiss at a fancy G.A.L.A., either!
  76. [2016-03-16 15:03:42] * Get_Lost lets the other go out first, then follows
  77. [2016-03-16 15:05:05] <Mare-Do-Well> 3The light from Bookwright's horn illuminates less than it should. His horn glows as brightly as ever, but the light peters out before it travels far. When Cordus Vespertilio lights a lantern, the affect is even more noticeable.
  78. [2016-03-16 15:05:31] <Mare-Do-Well> 3The lantern lights up the roof of the ship and the ice-filled waters around it nicely for a moment before the zone of illumination shrinks. As if the darkness were pushing back against it.
  79. [2016-03-16 15:11:40] * Get_Lost "sooo... are we checking the surroundings or we simply sit and wait?"
  80. [2016-03-16 15:11:42] * CopyCat floats above the roof, flapping her wings gently as she sinks back down to land with Bookwright and Get_Lost and Noble_Heart. "This place is creeeepy..."
  81. [2016-03-16 15:12:52] * Bookwright "There's something... wrong. This isn't normal darkness."
  82. [2016-03-16 15:13:14] * Bookwright focuses a different kind of magic into his horn.
  83. [2016-03-16 15:13:19] * Shatara looks around. "So, giant serpents, bioluminecent doompiranahs, and light-eating darkness. Still think this portal is to happy pirate paradise?"
  84. [2016-03-16 15:14:13] * Noble_Heart ruffles her wings, frowning. "Something about this place is definitely strange." She slowly turns around, surveying the darkness. "Something here is... We suppose devouring the energy of this place?" She scowls at that prospect.
  85. [2016-03-16 15:20:29] * CopyCat flutters her wings anxiously, then glances at Get_Lost and remembers, "Oh right, the vision thing. Parlay, can you engage, err... Night Vision? Magic Vision? Oh, no wait, Booty Vision!"
  86. [2016-03-16 15:21:22] * Get_Lost approves booty vision
  87. [2016-03-16 15:23:14] * Golden_Dream decides to turn on her flashlight. Just for shiggles.
  88. [2016-03-16 15:24:08] * Noble_Heart frowns heavily. She looks towards the sky for any signs of stars, or the moon, or anything at all.
  89. [2016-03-16 15:28:23] <Mare-Do-Well> 3Bookwright's spell works as it is meant to. There is a faint magic in the atmosphere, barely detectable. But once he discerns it, Bookwright recognizes it. This is magic that they have encountered before.
  90. [2016-03-16 15:29:44] <Mare-Do-Well> 3Bookwright recalls the magical darkness within the temple to the Quetzalcoatl Empress. Darkness that could be penetrated by those wearing the cloaks of Her cultists.
  91. [2016-03-16 15:35:36] * CopyCat spends some time peering into the darkness around them. Then her power-armored face gets a very close look at Shatara's behind. Followed by Get_Lost's. At the end she concludes, "I can't see anything in this darkness, but Booty Vision is pretty good. Parlay can even save screen shots and give them scores based on composition and framing. Oh, and size of course."
  92. [2016-03-16 15:35:54] * Bookwright unclasps his armor mesh cloak and packs it away, swapping it for the feathered cloak of the Quetzalcoatl Cultists. "It's the same darkness as the Quetzalcoatl Empress used. If any of you have cloaks of the Empress' Cult, put them on now."
  93. [2016-03-16 15:36:54] * Get_Lost ndnods "92% of parlay's RAM is dedicated to plot database management"
  94. [2016-03-16 15:39:57] * Golden_Dream jingles her neckerchief. "Already on there, chief. Why, what's up?"
  95. [2016-03-16 15:41:53] <Mare-Do-Well> 3Thanks to the clasp, Golden_Dream is able to naturally see the shoreline. She can tell they have surfaced in a nearly identical lake (ice notwithstanding) to the one they entered through. There are the shapes of vegetation on the shore... but even with the clasp, there isn't any light save that of Bookwright's horn and the lantern to see by.
  96. [2016-03-16 15:43:02] <Mare-Do-Well> 3Once Bookwright puts on the feathered cloak, he finds his own vision likewise improved. The unnatural darkness gives way to a more natural one.
  97. [2016-03-16 15:44:09] * Golden_Dream feels a faint idea strike her. Half-formed as it may be. "... Hey, you think that maybe this is where th' Empress goes when she ain't tryin' t' take over th' world?"
  98. [2016-03-16 15:46:01] * Noble_Heart contemplates that thought a moment. "We are concerned that may, indeed, be true." She shakes her head. "We were concerned that this might lead to the land of shadows. The other gate We knew they attempted to open was the one to Tartarus, after all." She scowled at that thought. "It would be best if we not remain here longer than necessary." She checks her PipBuck, just to
  99. [2016-03-16 15:46:01] * Noble_Heart see if it was actually mapping at all. Being able to find their way back to the portal would be important, after all.
  100. [2016-03-16 15:49:05] <Mare-Do-Well> 3The PipBuck's automapping spell is indeed working. However, there are no tags nearby for landmarks.
  101. [2016-03-16 15:50:40] * Mare-Do-Well 3looks at Noble_Heart. "You should be able to mark where we are on that. So no matter how far we go, we can find our way back."
  102. [2016-03-16 15:50:54] * Get_Lost "alright, we should take a look around and see if our friends are here around"
  103. [2016-03-16 15:53:47] * Mare-Do-Well 3offers, "I could fly around, possibly carry someone. How are we supposed to find them?"
  104. [2016-03-16 15:54:03] * Noble_Heart nods her head and fiddles with the machine trying to remember what Golden Dream and Shatara had told her about marking locations manually. Once she's confident she has a permanent marker for this space she sticks her head back down into the ship. "Shatara! Set course towards the shoreline! We wish to see if there's any sign of the Rainbow Express here."
  105. [2016-03-16 15:54:57] * Bookwright "Golden Dream, I don't suppose you've got an inflatable dinghy in those saddlebags?"
  106. [2016-03-16 15:55:20] * Shatara sets on his cloak like the others before steering the boat as directed.
  107. [2016-03-16 15:56:03] * Get_Lost has no such cloak, decides to follow those equpipped with one of those
  108. [2016-03-16 16:00:28] * CopyCat listens to Bookwright's idea and pops back into the /Skullcrusher/. She returns with her Cultist Cloak, tied round her neck like a super hero. She then joins the other in actually being able to see a little of what was around them.
  109. [2016-03-16 16:01:10] * Golden_Dream looks around. "Right, so, uh. Anyone know any way t' track a fuckin' airship?"
  110. [2016-03-16 16:02:04] * Bookwright "It was an underwatership, and I don't think it could fly anymore. So either it's along the shore somewhere or it... uh. Sunk."
  111. [2016-03-16 16:02:41] * Mare-Do-Well 3asks, "What kind of armaments did the /Rainbow Connection/ have?"
  112. [2016-03-16 16:04:03] * Get_Lost "nothing at all... i hope that the red serpent missed them"
  113. [2016-03-16 16:04:56] * Get_Lost hesitates "uh, guys, check for surfacing debris..."
  114. [2016-03-16 16:07:30] * Noble_Heart nods her head. Then looks at the surrounding ice. "There doesn't appear to be much debris. But We feel it best to begin checking the shore. The Rainbow Connection used to have light arms, rifles and the like, but in its conversion We find it unlikely they remained intact."
  115. [2016-03-16 16:07:38] * Golden_Dream taps her chin. "Um. That one fire gun that th' zebra folks used t' have standard issue."
  116. [2016-03-16 16:08:18] * Golden_Dream 's ears perk up. "Wait a fucking second- When did we give th' Rainbow Connection away?"
  117. [2016-03-16 16:08:42] * Noble_Heart shakes her head. "When it crashed? Or perhaps sometime during Our missing memories. Both are probable."
  118. [2016-03-16 16:12:21] * Mare-Do-Well 3nods. "Right. So when they came here, the first thing they encountered was a monstrous sea serpent. The portal might have even riled it up." Rainbow Dash flies upwards a bit languidly. "They didn't have the weapons to take it on, so they would have had to run. That meant surfacing, getting to the shore and abandoning ship..."
  119. [2016-03-16 16:13:47] <Mare-Do-Well> 3"...Sea serpents can get close enough to land to cause trouble for ponies on the shore. Or zebras. Trust me." She looks around. "So that means the ship should be somewhere on the shore..." She swoops down, grabs Golden_Dream, and takes off. "Need you as my eyes, girl."
  120. [2016-03-16 16:14:28] * Mare-Do-Well 3flies to the shore, carrying Golden_Dream, and begins a relatively swift circle around the lake.
  121. [2016-03-16 16:14:28] * Golden_Dream rubs her temple. "Right, so. They woulda' ran. And then since they couldn't see, their movements would be more heavy-hoofed. Which means tracks likely." She starts to look for tracks.... And then eeps! "Uh. Yeah! Sure." Still doesn't like flying on not her own power.
  122. [2016-03-16 16:15:32] * Get_Lost "well, riding rainbow dash... that would probably killing any filly out of sheer fangasm"
  123. [2016-03-16 16:16:12] * Bookwright "I still find it a little weird that a ghost can carry a pony."
  124. [2016-03-16 16:21:40] * CopyCat has a thought, then she unclasps the cloak from around her neck and puts in on Get_Lost instead. "It may not be Rainbow Dash's back, but as this power suit's creator, would you like a ride on my back? We can sweep the opposite direction to Goldie and Dash. I'll need you to concentrate on looking while I do the flying."
  125. [2016-03-16 16:22:08] * Mare-Do-Well 3comes to a stop when they spot the wreckage of the /Rainbow Connection/. The bulk of the submersible is up on shore, the shattered remains of its aft deck scattered across the ground and floating in pieces in the water.
  126. [2016-03-16 16:22:43] * Noble_Heart stays on deck, keeping an eye in the distance towards wherever Mare-Do-Well had flown off to.
  127. [2016-03-16 16:22:55] * Get_Lost thinks about it "actually, it could be fun. and useful"
  128. [2016-03-16 16:24:52] * Golden_Dream wriggles a little until she gets put back on the ground. "Tracks. We're by a lake, which means there's mud near th' edges. Which means we'll have prints and a direction."
  129. [2016-03-16 16:26:09] * Bookwright stands next to Noble_Heart. "Do you think they'll come back with good news?"
  130. [2016-03-16 16:26:36] * Noble_Heart ruffles her feathers. "We have seen no indication of a destroyed ship on the lake. It seems likely that they managed to escape. We also believe in their crew."
  131. [2016-03-16 16:28:50] <Mare-Do-Well> 3The ground is frosty. Golden_Dream finds dimples in the nearly-frozen mud that lead away from the /Rainbow Connection/ and the lake. By the gait, they were running.
  132. [2016-03-16 16:29:47] * Shatara gives a moment of silence for the tough little dinghy that can't seem to catch a break.
  133. [2016-03-16 16:30:20] * CopyCat kneels down for Get_Lost to climb aboard and then takes to the air, sweeping around the edge of the lake in the opposite direction to where Mare-Do-Well and Goldie and taken.
  134. [2016-03-16 16:31:19] * Golden_Dream pats the /Rainbow Connection/. She named it after an old song about finding the magic and romance in things. She found it kind of dark that it's more often in a state of having been crashed than in good repair.

  140. [2016-03-16 16:36:42] * CopyCat lands beside the first scouting party. Only the solemn sight of the /Rainbow Connection/'s wreckage prevents her from making airplane noises as she does so. "Oh... that's not a good sign." She stoops down to let Get_Lost off. "Please bring all belongings with you when exiting the aircraft."

  142. [2016-03-16 16:38:40] * CopyCat quickly glance upwards at the rumble, and canters in place skittishly. Get_Lost returning the cloak helps her out... it at least lets her see the dim flashes of possibly lightning before more rumbling happens.
  143. [2016-03-16 16:42:30] <Mare-Do-Well> 3It doesn't take long for Shatara to guide the /Skullcrusher/ to shore. Soon, everyone is back together again.

And, more specifically, whether they are going to leave anyone back with the /Skullcrusher/. Cordus doesn't seem to relish leaving it in other pirate's hooves. But neither seem pleased with the idea of leaving their only way back unprotected.

It does a ton of stuff, just like a Pip-Buck, only designed for military (not civilian) use. Blah, blah, all the normal stuff. But the important thing is that each helmet has a tag. If you know another soldier's tag, you can find them..."

That way, your tag will show up on the helmets or Pip-Bucks of anyone who gets within your general area. And since the enemy doesn't have this technology, you'll only be alerting our people."
  151. [2016-03-16 16:59:49] * Golden_Dream raises an eyebrow. "Why're y' tellin' us this?"
  152. [2016-03-16 17:00:01] * Mare-Do-Well 3concludes, "Well, that's not exactly correct anymore. Kifaa's been carrying around a device that she clearly bodged together from the helmet of a Steel Ranger. That means she had a tag. And since that stripe seemed pretty good with the science stuff, I'm betting she knows how to make her tag public."
  153. [2016-03-16 17:01:02] * Shatara nods. "Well, if it occurs to her that there might be someone helpful looking..."
  154. [2016-03-16 17:02:43] * Mare-Do-Well 3nods back to Shatara. "In the state their ship is in, they know they aren't getting back on their own. They've got to be hoping for a rescue party. They've been here most of a day already, so hopefully they've had enough time to catch their breath and start figuring out what they need to do."

  160. [2016-03-16 17:15:57] * CopyCat gets her suit's own Tag-Tracking system online (thanks to Parlay entirely) and then takes to the air once more. "I'll try a sweep around to look for the tag."
  161. [2016-03-16 17:17:31] * Noble_Heart looks up towards the clouds and taps her chin. "Then our best course of action would be to follow their tracks, checking for any signs of them on PipBucks and EFS. Any unusual sights are worth reporting. We don't know anything that's out here after all."
  162. [2016-03-16 17:18:48] <Mare-Do-Well> 3Bookwright, CopyCat, Golden_Dream and Shatara all see a massive, dark form slithering between the clouds. While very little was visible, and only very briefly, Golden_Dream recognizes the form of the Quetzalcoatl Empress!

  164. [2016-03-16 17:19:51] * Golden_Dream jolts, then hides under a tree! NONONONONONO NOT DEALING WITH ONE OF THOSE.
  165. [2016-03-16 17:19:55] * Bookwright "Woah there, it's just a giant... scary... uh... I think we need to leave now!"
  166. [2016-03-16 17:21:37] * Shatara ulps at the distinctive feathered serpent form. "I guess the place where we banished the empress isn't exactly the best place to hang around..." He shakes his head. "Not gonna just leave Jugeote behind...Not without trying..."
  167. [2016-03-16 17:25:07] * CopyCat stares up at clouds, at where she'd just seen a very sinister colossal serpent figure. She dips down a little as Bookwright speaks, but seems to rally after Shatara shakes his head. "No, Shatara's right. We're not leaving without them. I'll search from the air. Spread out and cover ground. If anyone finds trouble I'll relay the message."
  168. [2016-03-16 17:25:50] * Shatara takes a moment to make sure everyone has each others' tags, in case anyone gets separated.

  172. [2016-03-16 17:33:31] * CopyCat poses dramatically in the air, clad head-to-hoof in Get_Lost-crafted power armour. "Right now speed is of the essence. I put my trust in Get_Lost's abilities to keep me safe."
  173. [2016-03-16 17:37:25] <Mare-Do-Well> 3At another series of lightning flashes, Mare-Do-Well tells CopyCat, "I think you might get a chance to test that. We've got incoming."

  175. [2016-03-16 17:47:59] <Mare-Do-Well> 3A final flash, stoutly more brilliant than before as a bolt of grey lightning strikes the lake, reveals the murder of ahools swooping towards the ponies and zebras on shore.
