Wonderful Journey Notes

The song is about journeying to all of the countries of the world to meet all of world's people. The song sings about having a first meeting with "you," but the "you" is less about the viewer personally and more everyone and anyone.

"Parisienne and Champs Elysees":
Parisienne is a term for a female resident of Paris and Champ Elysees is an avenue in France where many well-known landmarks like the Arc de Triomphe can be found.

"Merci, I'd like some of your delicious madeleine (C'est si bon!)"
Merci is French for "Thank you/Thanks" and "C'est si bon!" is "It's so good!" So in this line you can assume they are ordering from a restaurant and the commenting on the taste. Madeleine is a type of French cake.

"While gazing at the Mona Lisa at tea time (S’il vous plait)"
I assume you know what the Mona Lisa is, and "s'il vous plait" is French for "please" or more often "if you don't mind"

"With its giant tortoises and iguanas at the World Heritage Centre (Galapagos!)"
The Galapagos Islands are a part of Ecuador where a lot of rare species can be found. Most well known are their vast species of giant tortoises and iguanas which can be seen at the UNESCO World Heritage Site/Centre.

"Cheerfully shouting "Yah man!" ("Yah man!")"
I assume this is self-explanatory, but this is a "term" used in Jamaica that's like "yeah, man."

"Ladies first President's name is Laura (Laura!)"
I don't know if the pun I tried to make here is very noticeable, but Costa Rica's current President is Laura Chinchilla and she's also their first female President. So I tried to change the "Lady first name" pun they had going there, which didn't translate very well, into a first female President pun. Ladies should be read possessively for pun purposes.

"Let's view the arribada on a moonlit night..."
"Arribada" is the name for when vast numbers (hundreds) of sea turtles all come out of the sea to lay their eggs on the beach in Costa Rica.

"“Good day, nice to meet you (Namaste!)" etc. lines
The translations for these lines is unimportant. They're just saying "hello" and "thank you" in different languages, but I felt it would be weird to see so many untranslated words right in a row, especially when some are actually Japanese. I italicized the translated lines and left the stuff in parenthesis untranslated to highlight their unimportance. The two words that aren't translated, "Namaste" and "Annyeong hashipnikka!" are simply greetings in India and Korea respectively. "Namaste" means something like "I bow to you" literally, where as "Annyeong hasipnikka" is a basic hello type greeting, usually shortened to just "Annyeong."
