- How to help ms-access askers with creating repros?
- ----
- Asking [tag:ms-access] questions is different from asking about other sql-related tags: it can prove rather difficult to create a reproducible scenario. Heck, there's plenty of MS Access developers that do not know (that much) SQL, programming with the other (mostly) GUI tooling MS Access provides.
- Nonetheless, being able to reproduce an OP's scenario is needed to be able to reliably answer their question. So, **how can we help MS Access askers with creating a repro?** Are there any examplary [tag:ms-access] questions and answers that do this?
- Heck, what *is* the preferred way of doing this? Screenshots of creating tables with a GUI? Proze? A code block with some sample data layouted as a table?
- I've already tried asking a more [general question](http://meta.stackoverflow.com/q/299484/419956) but that one turned out to become advice about SQL questions with advice not (always) applicable to MS Access users. Similarly, [this other related (FAQ) question](http://meta.stackoverflow.com/q/271055/419956) is also not always useful to MS Access users.
