  6. Deck:
  7. Deck Build: 7/10
  8. So, here is the thing about 4 axis decks when they are meta: they're the most straight forward meta decks played. When verz was meta, it was extremely straightforward, same with constellars, fire fist, etc. The point of 4 axis decks isn't to outplay circles around your opponent, but to remain constant +1's(or more) while you make your opponent take constant -1's(or more). That being said, for satellars, the MOST important thing is your deck build, as you aren't being expected to make godly plays that make people stunned at the thought and skill that went into it.
  9. That being said, your deck has to be as perfect as it can be.
  10. - One thing about satellars is their consistancy. It's what makes them so viable: you almost always have access to your options if needed. That being said, deneb is one of the main cards that will give you this, so ideally you want him as often as possible. Running only 1 ROTA and 1 Skybridge badly hinders your access to cards you might need. Duality only gives you a choice of 3 random cards, but ROTA and skybridge will almost always giv you whatever it is you need (monster wise). Although it is preference, 3 rota or 3 skybridge is almost always better than 3 duality. Not to mention, running duality makes clutch plays impossible for you. The same goes for upstart goblin, you WANT access to whatever you need, you don't want to rely on a 1/32 chance draw.
  11. - -3 upstart goblin, -3 duality, +2 ROTA, +2 Honest
  12. - It's important to point this out. You're only running 13 monsters, 2 of which are hand traps. If you're going to run so few monsters, understanding why is crucial. 8-14 monsters is generally considered a control style deck, and would be played as so, considering there will often be games where you open only s/t and have no access to monsters. Although this is your play style, and there is nothing I can say to make you change it, adjusting your deck where you + is crucial here, as you want to constantly have more cards than your opponent, which is hard to do. This is just a point to think in mind. Because of how straightforward satellars are, a lot of it comes down to preference and making the better of two decisions.
  13. - Distinct lack of Raigeki. If you don't feel the need to main deck it, you'd be better off replacing it with the "dark hole" in your side deck.
  14.
  15. Side Deck: 7/10
  16. As I said before, when it comes to decks like these, it all comes down to preference. I'm merely going to point out what is and isn't needed here, and allow you to make the changes.
  17. - You don't need smashing ground. Heres why: the only decks in the meta where you'd frequently see something in defense are Ritual beasts, Shadolls and Burning Abyss. Lets look at all these: for Ritual Beasts, if smashing ground were activate, they would simply chain with their own defuse play. For Shadolls, these cards would be illegal targets, as their probably in face down defense, and for Burning abyss, they WANT their monsters destroyed and in the grave like that. It's how they benefit the most. -1 Smashing ground.
  18. - Raigeki > Dark hole. Idk what much I can say here, unless you want to destroy your own cards.
  19. - Consider replacing a few of the more isolated cards wit Shadow-Imprisoning mirror. Shuts down so many decks, whereas some of the more loner cards (rabbit, breakthrough skill) are meant for single, individual cards.
  20. Aside from that, a well built side deck. Nj.

  22. Gameplay & Concentration:
  23. Use of cards: 3/5
  24. I cant complain about game 1. Games 2 and 3 however, you did misuse your cards a tad bit, and could have used them in the way Satellar decks are meant to be played: make me - while you +. You didnt use your cards to their full extent, I will explain below.
  25. Performance: 4/10
  26. I'll explain EVERY misplay caught, explain why it was a misplay, and what you could have done to fix that situation.
  27. -Firstly, game 2. I have an absolutely clear field, and you know exactly what deck I am playing, so th likelihood of a Gorz, Fader, Scarecrow, etc is low. you normal summoned Satellarknight Unukalhai and resolved his effect normally. You then immediately used Skybridge to summon Vega who summoned Altair. Now lets look at this a bit more intensely: the play was good, but its a game of life points. Had you immediately entered your battle phase, attacked with Unukalhai for 1800, then used Skybridge to get your combo off (all of which would resolve in the BP, so you'd still be able to attack after), you'd have also gotten an extra 2900 rather than just the simple 2900 you did by not waiting to use Skybridge. 4700 > 2900, AND you would have still resolved your combo.
  28. -In this same play, you should have xyzd for Triverr as well. Why? You would have made me discard, making me -1 and reducing my likely hood to make any plays, and since you had alpha, you would have +2, had I tried to do anything fancy. But by not xyzing, you don't + or -, I simply go -1. Here its merely math and common sense; you'd be better off gaining 2 cards and making me lose 2 than only gaining 1 card and making me lose 1. Its the more favorable position for you.
  29. -Game 3, while you had #86 on the field, you used pot of duality, grabbed Altair, then normal summoned him. Why? You were already in the clear and could keep bashing me with attacks from 86 as much as you want, and I wasn't in a position where it would ave won you game. Because you couldn't special summon that turn, it was a waste of summon, as you couldn't use Altairs effect and +, which, ultimately, is the main goal of your deck. For future reference, if it wont help you at that moment, just save it for later.
  30. -If you use Soul charge, and go for a big number like 4, you HAVE to make it worthwhile. Simply going for a Pleaides XYZ is not worth the -4000 lp. I would have waited until there were 5 free zones and went for another #86 play, or gotten 2 and went for an Exciton clear. Like I said before, it's all about whats more favorable to you.
  31. -Also, when you use soul charge, remember to resolve your effects. Especially Deneb.
  32. - Did not side. You had Mind Crush and imperial iron wall. Why not side them in for free wins?

  38. Welcome to Ra!
  39. Yes, just BARELY made Ra. Heres what has to be pointed out: you are a good player. You built your deck to your preference, which is good, and it isn't like you made terrible plays. Your plays were good, they simply could've been better. Pay a bit more attention to card interactions on your end. Try to do the most possible using as few resources as you can, and don't forget to abuse your effects. It's a straightforward deck, so as long as you let the auto-pilotness guide you, you'll end up wining almost every duel your in.
  40. Great games, well played. Cant wait to see where you go from here.
