  1. Rough timeline
  2.
  3. 1 BRQR (Before Rose Quartz Rebellion) = A Perfect Rose Quartz Gem is honored for achievements in battle on a pre-earth colony with a resistant indigenous population. Though she comes to regret all of the blood on her hands, anti-Diamond sentiment begins to grow within her when her inferiors are not honored along with her.
  4.
  5. 0 BRQR = A Terrifying Renegade Pearl assaults Pink Diamond. Rose Quartz is on station on Earth, hears of this, and leads a one Gem assault to free her. Her rebellion is seen, ultimately, as an insult rather than a true rebellion. She is spared, though she is all but cast out. Her fame evaporates. She begins to train Pearl and, on her own time, begins exploring Earth more than is strictly necessary.
  6.
  7. 1 ARQR = Rose Quartz shatters Pink Diamond after a heated dispute in open court. Witnesses are too scandalized to truly reply. The seeds of rebellion are sown. Rose Quartz flees onto Earth and more than a few flee to join her.
  8.
  9. 3 ARQR = Blue Diamond personally takes control of the Earth colony and attempts to use Sapphire to subdue the rebels. An assault by an elite rebel strike team indirectly leads to the formation of Garnet. The Crystal Gems survive and Garnet joins the Rebellion.
  10.
  11. 4 ARQR = Humiliated, Blue Diamond ramps up the campaign against the Crystal Gem Rebellion. A Bismuth Action Group is brought in to build weapons of war, but Garnet's foresight allows the Crystal Gems to persuade the Bismuth Foregem to join their cause. The Crystal Gems will later discover an ideal location to create a 'Forge'. By the beginning of the following year, armor and weapons will be distributed to members of the Rebellion.
  12.
  13. 5 ARQR = Defection becomes a serious problem for Homeworld; Blue Diamond begins cracking down on personal freedoms and fortifies possible Kindergarten sites. Frustratingly, she cannot call for a ramp up of infrastructure due to focus on larger colonies; her plans to increase the number of Kindergartens sit on the backburner as the Rebels score more victories.
  14.
  15. 10 ARQR = Rose and Pearl complete the training of an elite squad (known only now as the Fallen). Outfitted in the finest of Bismuth's armor and weapons, they haunt the warp pads for several days and ultimately disable the Galaxy Warp. Before being driven off, they maintain a month long blockade of the Galaxy Warp and their stranglehold shakes faith in Blue Diamond's regime
  16.
  17. 15 ARQR = Homeworld Politicking continues to undermine Blue Diamond. Though she will cleverly ensure that the Crystal Gems pay for every inch of progress they make over the following decades, she is unable to call in more aid.
  18.
  19. 101 ARQR = The Crystal Gem Rebellion holds its first open military conflict against Homeworld and is beaten back. While Rose Quartz licks her wounds, events conspire against Blue Diamond again. Yellow Diamond ultimately decides against sending further aid upon seeing the military victory.
  20.
  21. ~223 ARQR = Kindergarten efforts are ramped up, but slowly. Jasper's Kindergarten is constructed in an less than optimal location. Most Gems come out far too quickly and end up serving as cannon fodder, being terminated, or defecting.
  22.
  23. 500 ARQR = After years of guerrilla attacks, Rose Quartz manages to successfully attack Blue Diamond's citadel. Blue Diamond ultimately retreats to the Moon Base. Kindergarten efforts are ramped up. Several are destroyed or sabotaged, but one finishes.
  24.
  25. ~600 ARQR = Breaking Point incident. Rose Quartz poofs Bismuth and conceals her, ultimately failing to destroy the weapon that she feared so much.
  26.
  27. ~778 ARQR = Emergence of Jasper, a Gem who will serve with distinction but ultimately fail to influence the conflict.
  28.
  29. ~800 ARQR = Jasper participates in the conflict where the Fallen perish, personally claiming two of their Gems. Ultimately, though, Loyalists lose the battle and the Armor of the Fallen is recovered to be displayed.
  30.
  31. ~990 ARQR = Too late to make a difference, but Homeworld finally appreciates the scale of the Crystal Gem Rebellion. A large scale mobilization takes place. At the same time, Rebel sentiment is strong. Defectors of both practical and moral bent flood the Crystal Gems.
  32.
  33. ~999 ARQR = Battle of the Strawberry Field. The largest battle of the war. Countless gems are broken, Homeworld and Crystal alike. The Diamonds order a full scale retreat, deploying a weapon that causes untold damage. Crystal Gems suffer countless losses. Homeworld does not return to Earth.
  34.
  35. Unknown (Likely immediately post evacuation, but likely before 2000 ARQR) = Cluster created from Gem shards, and ultimately deployed into Earth. It is likely written off as a seismic event, if it is noticed as all.
  36.
  37. Unknown (Likely between 1200 and 1300 ARQR) = A specific and defective Amethyst emerges at her kindergarten, unaware of her purpose and largely passive.
  38.
  39. ~4980 ARQR = Rose Quartz meets Greg Universe and gets thirsty for that dick. Pearl gets jealous, but ultimately fails to overcome the power of the murdercock.
  40.
  41. ~4989 ARQR = After countless (at least dozens) sexperiments, Rose Quartz manages to conceive a child with Greg Universe.
  42.
  43. ~4990 ARQR = Steven Universe born.
  44.
  45. ~5003 ARQR = Show time period begins.
  46.
  47. ~5004 ARQR = Steven has cried like fifty million tears.
