Randy, what's this I hear, you're involved in some legal stuff right now? I don't know how much you're willing to talk about it. But it sounds pretty juicy.

RANDY CREDICO
Well, I don't know what it is right now, it's something to do with the uh House-

DICKER
The congressional investigating committee?

CREDICO
House Intel Committee on Russia-gate. Somehow, my name has been mixed into it. Uuuh and I suppose it's because I spend a lot of time - as a journalist, Fred, as you know, for the last year and a half, I've uh been a journalist, with my radio show [DICKER: Yeah, yeah.] dealing with national security matters, particularly as it relates to Wikileaks, and Julian Assange, who is a journalist. And the editor and founder of Wikileaks, and I- and I find him to be an honest - always! One hundred percent! Everything that Wikileaks has put out there, no one has been able to confute or contradict. So, um, I've had other people on the show. People like Thomas Drake, uh who was nearly convicted of espionage act [sic], I've had people like Ray McGovern, ex-CIA Director [sic - McGovern at one time headed the Russia analysis desk], Julian Assange's mother [Christine Assange] - Craig Murray, former ambassador to the Uzbekistan [sic] from the U.K. I've had a wide variety of people on my show.

DICKER
I know that, Randy. You've also been associated with the political equivalent of the spawn of the devil, have you not?

CREDICO
Yeah, but he's been on my show too. You're talking about Roger Stone, he's been on my radio show, as well. So, there are rumors out there that I could have been some kind of back channel - I don't know what it is, I think basically, they're on a fishing expedition, to try and get anything they can out of...out of uuuuh Wikileaks, [DICKER: Can I suggest something?] and Assange. That's the bottom line, here-

DICKER
Can I suggest something?

CREDICO
But I don't know, Fred! I don't know, this-

DICKER
Randy. Can I suggest something?

CREDICO
Yeah.

DICKER
My suggestion is that if you get, wind up getting subpoenaed before a congressional committee, this could be the best thing that's happened to you in several years. You oughta do a press conference on it, demand a public hearing that- any testimony be given in public. It could be fabulous for you. You could be the new Abbie Hoffman.

CREDICO
Well, Fred, first of all, I don't even know what the- I don't even know- I'm going to talk about it next week, at length, on, with Errol Louis. On New York One, and Jennifer Gonnerman, of the New Yorker. Prior to that. So, that I'm- I'm getting set, when I know something. And, of course, your show, Fred. When I know something-

DICKER
I hope so.

CREDICO
You'll know on the same day. I will go public, with _whatever there is_. Because I don't know. What there is.

DICKER
Okay.
