  4. [2014-09-10 21:06:48]<EchoesOfDeath> The sky chariot soars through the skies of the city of Baltimare. It has seen better days, just like the survivors in it, but it still stood as a reminder of the former pony civilization. The group is gathered in this sky chariot led by Backlash and Raven, right now flying aimlessly

  6. [2014-09-10 21:09:40]* Star_Spotter sighs as she looks to the others. "Should we return to confirm everyone is alright? Or go looking for more supplies?"
  7. [2014-09-10 21:11:14]* Cambiance looks at her teacher. "Don't you want to rest, Miss Spotter? You fought off I don't even know how many of them. It seems like you'd be exhausted. You almost.... It could've gone really bad back there."
  8. [2014-09-10 21:12:41]* Star_Spotter sighs and looks to her. "I can go for a bit, adrenaline hasn't worn off." She smiles.
  9. [2014-09-10 21:14:20]<Cambiance> "Do you think the others are safe? It seemed like we drew most of the hoard our way, but...

  11. [2014-09-10 21:15:56]<Star_Spotter> "Exactly why I asked if we should go back.
  12. [2014-09-10 21:21:31]* Swift_Hurddle looks up "Were going back right?"
  13. [2014-09-10 21:22:05]* Cambiance mulls the thought over. "I... guess that would be best."
  14. [2014-09-10 21:23:48]* Star_Spotter tilts her head. "Would you just... want us to leave?" She asks them. "We... we could. All of us are here."
  15. [2014-09-10 21:25:14]<EchoesOfDeath> "Not all of us." Raven says from her reins
  16. [2014-09-10 21:28:16]* Swift_Hurddle looks around, "So when are we going back to the store?"
  17. [2014-09-10 21:28:48]<Cambiance> "We... should go back now. In case anyone is injured or something."

  21. [2014-09-10 21:41:03]<Backlash> "We'd be better off in a store than out and about in the air. Besides, we got enough ways in an' out that I don't think gettin' trapped is a big danger. C'mon..." She motions for Raven to turn back towards the store and moves to do the same.

  24. [2014-09-10 21:54:18]<EchoesOfDeath> As they fly back towards the bookstore they see a group of 5 ponies wearing guard armor and police uniforms, carrying guns and spears. They move tactically down an alley a few blocks away from the bookstore. Except Star_Spotter, she spots a star. Night is falling.
  25. [2014-09-10 21:56:17]* Backlash decides to ignore the guard-looking ponies, but she fears the others might bring them up.
  26. [2014-09-10 21:56:47]* Star_Spotter sighs lightly
  27. [2014-09-10 21:57:57]* Cambiance mutters. "Oh my..."
  28. [2014-09-10 21:59:37]* Swift galnces over and grins widly as he spots them shouting and waving, "Hey look, There are ponies here!"
  29. [2014-09-10 22:01:04]* Backlash cringes. "Hey, keep it down! Just 'cause we're flying doesn't mean we can't attract more of those things..."
  30. [2014-09-10 22:02:22]* Swift rolls over, "But they are guard! they are here to help!"
  31. [2014-09-10 22:02:46]<EchoesOfDeath> The squad didn't seem to hear Swift.
  32. [2014-09-10 22:02:51]* Star_Spotter shakes
  33. [2014-09-10 22:03:19]* Star_Spotter shakes her head. "No Swift, they might not be. Theres not a lot of them, and we can't trust everyone now."
  34. [2014-09-10 22:04:12]* Cambiance bites her lip. "Remember how we were going through that office building? I assume other ponies are desperate enough to scavenge now. They could have just found those uniforms."
  35. [2014-09-10 22:05:15]* Backlash is silent for a few seconds. "We could try and spy on 'em, see if they're good ponies. But considering how well-armed they are, I wouldn't try to meet 'em head-on. Other ponies ain't always as patient as us."
  36. [2014-09-10 22:06:06]<EchoesOfDeath> The group notices the squad is moving roughly on the direction of the huge frozen cloud who crashed and skewered so many infected.
  37. [2014-09-10 22:06:55]<Cambiance> "I don't know... It feels like there's too big a risk of being spotted."
  38. [2014-09-10 22:07:30]* Swift rolls back and peeks, over, "But we have been waiting for so long, what have we been waiting for exactly, This is the sort of thing I have been waiting on"
  39. [2014-09-10 22:08:19]<Star_Spotter> "Wouldn't they be a bigger group if it really was what we were waiting for?"
  40. [2014-09-10 22:08:52]<Backlash> "That's why we wouldn't take the whole chariot. Star_Spotter would take over flyin' for me, and I'd go spy on 'em. If I'm any good at my job - and I am - then I'd tell you guys what they're up to when I get home."
  41. [2014-09-10 22:09:13]* Star_Spotter nods to Backlash
  42. [2014-09-10 22:12:59]<EchoesOfDeath> A glint of light meets Backlash's eye. A distant figure of Rosebee on the rooftops snaps her gardening shears at something on the roof. You near the bookstore quickly
  43. [2014-09-10 22:14:28]* Backlash half-shouts, "Go! Faster!" and tries to pick up speed.
  44. [2014-09-10 22:16:12]* Swift blinks, "Why the sudden speed boost?"
  45. [2014-09-10 22:17:37]<EchoesOfDeath> Raven narrows her eyes and flaps her wings frantically. The sky chariot pierces the sky towards the bookstore
  46. [2014-09-10 22:22:27]* Backlash is ignored as Backlash focuses single-mindedly on the filly before her. Also ignored is her plan for landing and stopping from this incredible speed.

  48. [2014-09-10 22:22:40]<EchoesOfDeath> Catching a wind current, the sky chariot reaches unbelievable speed, the passengers feel themselves pressed strongly against their places, the cold wing blowing strongly on their faces
  49. [2014-09-10 22:24:48]* Star_Spotter uses her wings to stay on good
  50. [2014-09-10 22:29:14]<EchoesOfDeath> Rosebee swings her shears at a twisted blackened flier that crawls towards her. It only has one wing.
  51. [2014-09-10 22:29:43]* Cambiance has quit (Quit: Page closed)
  52. [2014-09-10 22:38:42]<EchoesOfDeath> The chariot lands right over the infected with a loud crunch, skidding across the roof leaving a trail of infected guts.
  53. [2014-09-10 22:39:37]<EchoesOfDeath> It slides to the edge and finally stops.
  54. [2014-09-10 22:40:05]* Backlash attempts to run to Rosebee with the harness still on, gets stopped by the harness, frantically pulls it off, and then runs over to the filly.
  55. [2014-09-10 22:40:25]<Backlash> "OMIGOSH ARE YOU OKAY WHAT THE HECK DID THAT THING HURT YOU OMIGOSH"
  56. [2014-09-10 22:41:49]<EchoesOfDeath> Rosebee blinks, startled by the sudden arrival, taking a moment before releasing the breath she was holding. "Phew, Thanks!"
  57. [2014-09-10 22:44:20]* Star_Spotter runs over as well. "Are there anymore?"
  58. [2014-09-10 22:45:25]<EchoesOfDeath> "Teacher!" Rosebee hugs Star_Spotter. "You are okay!"
  59. [2014-09-10 22:45:46]* Star_Spotter nods happily and hugs her back. "Yeah I'm fine!"
  60. [2014-09-10 22:46:28]<EchoesOfDeath> The door on the roof is broken.
  61. [2014-09-10 22:46:33]* Swift trots out of the carriage and looks around, "Are there more?"
  62. [2014-09-10 22:48:23]* Star_Spotter blinks. "What happened to the door?"
  63. [2014-09-10 22:48:51]* Backlash starts trying to examine Rosebee for wounds. "So you're not hurt?! Where'd that thing come from!?"
  64. [2014-09-10 22:49:22]<EchoesOfDeath> "Some got in! I couldn't go after them." As Rosebee says so you hear a loud crashing noise.
  65. [2014-09-10 22:49:56]* Star_Spotter looks to Swfit. "Swift Knock the door down we'll fix it later!"
  66. [2014-09-10 22:51:02]* Swift nods and kicks
  67. [2014-09-10 22:53:27]<EchoesOfDeath> Swift finds Mr. Bill floating a large old cabinet from a splattered mess of what must have been two infected. "Oh, there you are. I would like to know what just happened."
  68. [2014-09-10 22:54:10]<Star_Spotter> "Infection hoard. I lead most away and killed a lot of them, with help." She nods. "But aparently I didn't do a good enough job."
  69. [2014-09-10 22:56:17]<EchoesOfDeath> "After that awful noise I've caught some of them trying to invade. Is the filly with you?" He floats the carcasses from his room. "What a mess."
  70. [2014-09-10 22:56:43]* Star_Spotter sighs lightly. "She is, she's safe."
  71. [2014-09-10 22:58:02]<EchoesOfDeath> Rosebee seems to have some light bruises but there is no sign of a bite. "I am okay. They spread to everywhere after the huge ice thing appeared."
  72. [2014-09-10 23:00:21]* Swift stands outside and guards while everyone enters
  73. [2014-09-10 23:01:08]<Backlash> "Okay... Stay with Swift, okay?" She runs inside, knife at the ready, to look for the others.
  74. [2014-09-10 23:01:45]* Swift stands near rosebee, "Star do you have an extra weapon for her?"
  75. [2014-09-10 23:02:17]<EchoesOfDeath> "That is good. Maybe we should fix the damages then." Bill trots outside telekinetically carrying the corpses. He sights Backlash. "There are no more of them inside, if that is your concern."
  76. [2014-09-10 23:03:00]* Star_Spotter nods, moving and giving Rosebee a pistol.
  77. [2014-09-10 23:03:18]<Backlash> "Where's the others? Perch, Sugar? The sick ones?!"
  78. [2014-09-10 23:04:17]<EchoesOfDeath> "They were downstairs. None went past me, so they should be fine." Mr Bill glances at the stairs
  79. [2014-09-10 23:05:12]* Backlash runs downstairs to go find them anyway.
  80. [2014-09-10 23:05:27]* Star_Spotter sighs ."We need to fix the door."
  81. [2014-09-10 23:07:40]<EchoesOfDeath> Rosebee float the gun closer weakly, seeming a bit afraid of it. She glances at Swift and shuffles her hooves. "Today was scary." She says at Swift without looking at him;
  82. [2014-09-10 23:08:31]* Star_Spotter looks to Rosebee. "I'll teach you how to shoot one dear. We're gonna need more than just some garden Sheers."
  83. [2014-09-10 23:09:01]<EchoesOfDeath> Backlash spots Sugar climbing the stairs to the second floor, seeming concerned. "Is something wrong? I heard a lot of noise. It woke me up."
  84. [2014-09-10 23:10:00]* Backlash attempts to look Sugar over for wounds in a panic.
  85. [2014-09-10 23:11:50]* Swift has quit (Ping timeout: 121 seconds)
  86. [2014-09-10 23:11:53]<EchoesOfDeath> Sugar seems to be unharmed from whatever happened.
  87. [2014-09-10 23:12:14]* Backlash gives Sugar a big hug.
  88. [2014-09-10 23:13:35]* Backlash seems to have calmed down a little. "The roof door's broken down, and a few of those things got in. Bill said he stopped 'em up at the top floor, but... I dunno." She squeezes her tight and starts to cry softly.
  89. [2014-09-10 23:16:53]<EchoesOfDeath> Sugar hugs Backlash with a smile, though awkwardly with her wooden leg. "There there, if Bill says it's fine then there is nothing to worry about. He is weird but he didn't let us down before. You are okay too, right?"
  90. [2014-09-10 23:17:10]* Swift_Hurddle (Swift_Hurdd@Pony-3nj6os.ga.comcast.net) has joined
  91. [2014-09-10 23:17:16]* Star_Spotter looks back to all of them. "So everyone is safe?
  92. [2014-09-10 23:18:15]<EchoesOfDeath> "...if you say so." Rosebee nods to her teacher but doesn't seem too comfortable about it.
  93. [2014-09-10 23:18:31]* Backlash nods and sniffles. "Where's Perch? What about the hurt buck? Shit, I don't even know who everypony is, I'm such a bad friend..."
  94. [2014-09-10 23:19:10]<EchoesOfDeath> "Yes, from what I see we all are. " Mr. Bill says to Star_Spotter
  95. [2014-09-10 23:19:40]* Swift_Hurddle scuffs a hoof as he kicks the floor, "That... was scary"
  96. [2014-09-10 23:20:44]* Star_Spotter nods to bill. "I... well I must have Celestia looking out for me."
  97. [2014-09-10 23:21:03]<EchoesOfDeath> "She was on the coffee room caring for the buck" Sugar's lips press together tightly for a moment, but she smiles again. "They should be fine."
  98. [2014-09-10 23:23:07]* Backlash looks at Sugar in confusion. "What d'you mean 'should be'?! Wha-" She trots off to check up on the other two.
  99. [2014-09-10 23:24:20]<EchoesOfDeath> The coffee room door is closed
  100. [2014-09-10 23:25:26]* Backlash attempts to open it and go inside. "Perch?"
  101. [2014-09-10 23:26:00]* Star_Spotter has quit (Ping timeout: 121 seconds)
  102. [2014-09-10 23:27:57]<EchoesOfDeath> The door opens but at first Backlash can't see anyone inside. Only then she notices the buck's tail behind a counter. Perch's voice answers "Backlash? Is it safe?"
  103. [2014-09-10 23:30:51]<Backlash> "I dunno." She tries to circle around to get a good look. "Are you two okay? Nopony's hurt, right?"
  104. [2014-09-10 23:33:50]<EchoesOfDeath> "We are fine." Perch helps the Ice up. "With the horde outside, I was worried about the noise. How are the others?"
  105. [2014-09-10 23:35:33]* Backlash breathes a sigh of relief. "Sugar seems okay... I gotta check on Bill, make sure he's not hurt, though. Rosebee looks okay... everypony seems fine." She tries to force herself to breathe a little slower. "Is Sugar, like - is she okay? She seemed kinda upset about somethin'."
  106. [2014-09-10 23:38:36]<EchoesOfDeath> Perch ponders "...losing a leg can't be easy. I should ask how she is feeling."
  107. [2014-09-10 23:39:35]* Backlash nods. "Um, are you two gonna be okay? I'm gonna go, uh... talk to her or somethin'." She's obviously still quite worked up despite herself.
