Subject: Digimap: WAYFless URLs changed to Targeted URLs

Dear Colleague,

As a result of recent changes to the Digimap service interface, the format of direct links to Digimap from within authenticated areas of an institution's website has changed. These links were formerly known as WAYFless URLs.

WAYFless URLs for Digimap are now known as EDINA Targeted URLs and their new format is:

http://edina.ac.uk/Login/digimap?idp=YOUR_IDP_ENTITYID

where YOUR_IDP_ENTITYID should be replaced with the EntityID of your local Identity Provider.

If you don't know what your institution's EntityID is, please contact your local computing infrastructure support staff or the UK Access Management Federation helpdesk.

If you have previously been using a WAYFless URL to Digimap within your local portal, intranet, learning resource centre website or other local system, please update it using this new format. URLs in the previous format will not work now.
