  1.
  2. [Vanguard] has a toolset that I believe will make him as prime initiator, namely single target and ultimate aoe pull with 15 and 10 meter base radius respectively. Add in long gap-closer, cc def and straight-up damage sponge abilities, hard CC, 50% snare on almost all skills, aoe damage, target inc healing and defence decreases, and we'll have some nasty stuff for all those in-ya-face style freaks.
  3. I expect good trains to have at least two or even three of these guys, if game even has cc immunity timers(is yet to be seen). Pull targets tightly with vangs and aoe them down, split enemy train with two pulls, rotate pulls or chain-pull key solo targets like healers or squishy but known serious dd from safety of their raid towards yours and to their inevitable death will be a no-brainer.
  4. But wait, there's more. We have Z dimension here. Anyone can fly. So expect some surprise carpet vanguard bombs from above. Or below. Or wherever the fuck from, because shit might take wings and become aion-style abyss delightful hectic mess. I miss aion.
  5. Depending on flight mechanics, cooldowns and whole rage system of course, it may be possible to execute both fly version of pull and ground one. Or fill second rage bar before engage. Terrifyingly delicious.
  6. Vanguard has two rage bars. Left fills up when vanguard attacks and is needed for following ultimates: (1)bringing down flyers with shield toss, (2)spin2win with full CC immunity, (3)charge with aoe knockdown along path and (4)massive pbaoe series of knockdowns with CC immunity. Right fills when vanguard takes damage and powers up (1)mass single knockdown, (2)delicious mentioned above aoe pull that stuns everything for 3 seconds, (3)mass cc removal with attack buff\root and attack debuff and lastly (4)50% damage reduction ult.
  7. Countering this class ultimate abilities in mpvp will be no piece o cake, I tell ya - people just can't stop attacking.
  8. Consecutively, in pve environments, any add or misplaced trash pack will be managed neatly. From what I've seen it has good AOE damage too, which is a bit surprising for a tank. Has a neat HP(party-wide) and incoming healing buff.
  9.
  10. [Blademaster].
  11. Not familiar with it much, but I believe this class is more of those assassin, hit'n'run and "evasive tank" types. Toolset includes snares, numerous ranged hard CC, dodge blockers, gapclosers, CC break with dash and CC\damage immunity, huge damage and most interestingly "last stand" which brings blademaster's HP down to 1, but makes him invulnerable for 5 seconds, CC immune, ups his evasion and converts damage dealt(not really clear though - YOUR OWN as in vampiric or ON YOU by enemies) to healing until 50% hp is reached. Also has mass pull in form of ultimate, but five meter range makes it less interesting than vang's.
  12. In raids these bad boys will be most certainly used as healer harassers and quick in-out dash taking squish dd downs. There's no stealth so far, but most players don't monitor sky, so dropping on their heads serves as a replacement for it. Expect some nerds raging about stunlocks and last stand too lol. Class has potential to become that lone wolf wanker that frapses his victories 1vX material.
  13. Can obviously tank encounters in PVE, but this will require substantial skill. And ping.
