PokAesop 6-A: Murphy Shows Lecia The Master Bedroom

[23:55] <Murphy> So!  You've all decided to take on Murphy's gym, eh?  The castle floats in the sky ominously, not blasting music at the moment or anything.  Murphy, when he was returning to the castle before, just jumped up and stuck to the bottom, so that's probably what you'll have to do.  It's hanging pretty low, so it's not a big jump or anything.
06[00:02] * Yumeko looks up at the ominous-looking castle. She did agree to come along and visit the place with Lecia and Rainy, and thus here she is with Mimu by her side. She looks around for how to get onto the castle, before attempting what Murphy did before...
[00:03] <Lecia> Lecia's very interested in taking on Murphy--'s Gym. Yes. It's funny because she's actually interested in taking on his Gym for more than just 'because it's Murphy's Gym', or even 'just because it's a Gym'. The extra reason is...probably Rainy's fault. These new rockets should ease the jump...jump!
[00:03] <Rainy> Rainy tried riding Nini. It didn't work. SO INSTEAD, she rides Mr. Kitty, the Entei who unfortunately isn't battleready because Bardy is a loser who didn't invest a bunch of EXP into him yet. Poor thing.
[00:04] <Rainy> He can jump 35 feet so uh maybe he can make it?
01[00:05] <Caleb> Mr. Kitty is dressed up in a little butler outfit, and has a monocle over his eye. And of course he makes it! “Worry not, milady. A task as simple as this is of no difficulty to a creature such as myself.” You can only wonder who dreamed up having an Entei for their butler.
[00:06] <Rainy> "Awwwww, whooooosh a good kitty? You're a good kitty, Mr. Kitty!" She pets the entei gleefully and gives the fluffy creature a big hug.
[00:06] <Yumeko> At least Ukon is there too, so he can help by carrying Yumeko and Mimu up to the castle's entrance if need be. o__o;

[00:08] <Murphy> Simply jumping on your own is enough to get caught int he castle's pull, because it's hanging so low.  Any of you jumping up into its gravity should make a Dex check to make sure you land on your feet, though!

[00:11] <Murphy> Lecia starts flipping repeatedly the second the gravity shifts and pratfalls on the bottom of the castle.  Ow.
[00:12] <Murphy> Nothing hurt badly, though.  Just your pride, most likely.
[00:12] <Yumeko> "uuu... This is an unusual feeling..." Yumeko remarked as she landed without problems along with Mimu and Ukon (now a Kongfernape). She hurries to Lecia's side to lend a hand. o___o;
[00:12] <Lecia> Twitch, twitch. Ow, indeed. As soon as she can feel her legs, she's up though. No one saw that. No one saw that.
[00:12] <Rainy> "Whooooaoaaa, Lessy! I didn't know you were an aerobat!"
[00:12] <Rainy> You wish.
[00:14] <Murphy> You find it's pretty easy to walk around on the bottom, and from your perspective, it's like you're on top of a hill.  Walking down the "hill", you notice that you're standing directly perpendicular to the ground at all times, gravity shifting wiht the incline.  It feels a little disorienting, since you'd expect to step down or something, but it's not too hard to get used to.
[00:16] <Rainy> Rainy just sits atop her pretty kitty and enjoys the ride~
[00:16] <Lecia> She's also up by herself because SHE STILL HAS SOME PRIDE. But...yeah, she can get used to this. She's from the future. She's not going to fall in some ridiculous fashion again. At least while someone's looking.
01[00:16] <Caleb> Butler Entei chuckles at Lecia’s plight. 5”You know, milady, as unfortunate as Miss Lecia’s mishap might be, this reminds me of a rather amusing personal anecdote, if you’re willing to allow me to impart... My beloved acqauintance, Sir Hufffington, he had one time stumbled over a Nanab that had fallen off the the neck of a nearby Tropius, much to his dismay, and had performed several aerial somersaults before descending into a giant body of liquid pudding. His new coat of pudding made his appearance quite unbecoming for the remainder of the evening!”

[00:17] <Murphy> At the bottom of the "hill", there's a sharp sort of switch to being on top of the big rock on the bottom of the castle.  You basically walk into what would be a fall from your perspective and are upright on the ground on top after a step.  Might make you a little dizzy.
[00:17] <Yumeko> "I wonder how this works... That we're all right despite being upside down?" Yumeko asks as she withdraws Ukon for now. She notes that Rainy's new pokemon could speak, something quite rare among pokemon she met so far. o__o?
[00:18] <Lecia> THE WORST. Lecia gradually gets redder in the face as they keep on going on about it. You can do this anywhere else but WHY HERE--whoa--oh, there! "We're here~"
01[00:18] <Caleb> 5”I believe it was a mixture of coconut and Bluk Berry. Why there was a liquid body full of such a mixture of flavored puddings, I am regretfully unable to inform you, but from what I recall of cleaning myself off, it bore a rather unpleasant taste.”

[00:20] <Rainy> "Oh. My Grandmommy makes pudding, but it's usually coconut and I'm not sure how she makes it because there aren't hairs in the pudding but I saw a coconut once and it was covered in hairs so I think coconuts must be pokemon who use Thief or whatever that move is to steal people's hair to cover themselves up with."

[00:23] <Yumeko> "That... must be quite an unusual fruit..." Yumeko remarked as they made their way to the castle's front door. There aren't really coconuts in the land where she is from. o__o;
[00:23] <Rainy> "Yep, it's weird, isn't it?"
[00:25] <Murphy> After becoming rightsideup in relation to the ground below the castle, the large castle is finally in view in front of you.  There's a small courtyard, devoid of plants, with a black fence around it.  There's a gap in the fence for you to walk through, and then the black iron doors, which each have an Arcanine face on them with a little ring in their mouths for you to pull them open.
[00:26] <Rainy> "Hey, those look kinda like baby-Mister-Kitties!"
06[00:26] * Yumeko takes note to watch out for thieving coconuts in the future as they now come face-to-face to the black iron doors after going through the courtyard. Yumeko attempts giving one a tug, despite lacking in strength. o__o!
[00:26] <Lecia> ...Maybe she'll tell her what coconuts are later. For now, BOOM! ...If those Arcanine things can actually be used to knock, that's what Lecia does first. Otherwise, she just...well, knocks. Gotta be polite!
[00:27] <Lecia> ...She naturally makes it clear that just BARGING IN isn't OK to Yumeko by how she has to actually rush to the door to knock on it.
[00:28] <Murphy> The Arcanine Yumeko pulled from grits its teeth on the knocker and doesn't want to let go.  Wait, it's alive?  And kind of growling.  The one Lecia knocked with seems okay with it, though.

06[00:29] * Yumeko stops tugging and follows what Lecia did, using the ring to knock, "Ah... so that's how it works..." o___o;

[00:30] <Murphy> A little while after Lecia knocks, the doors open up on their own, revealing a spacious room, a brightly lit chandelier above, a staircase directly in front of you, a hallway each to the left and right, and balconies to the left and right of the staircase.  Huh.
[00:30] <Rainy> "Oh. I know all about refinedidity because I'm an artist!" Rainy and Mr. Kitty are following Lecia's lead.
[00:33] <Lecia> Lecia continues to resist the urge to squee. It continues to work, somehow. She might be able to blame it on living in a place kind of similar, thanks to RICH PARENTS. But only kind of. She still manages a "...whoa~" though. Her legs, despite being made out of paper and proven to not work all that well...cannot resist the urge to go up the staircase in front of her! That's where he'd be,

[00:34] <Giantree> There's an explosive noise from one of the hallways.

[00:36] <Lecia> ...oh. Or not! That...that doesn't sound right at all! Maybe it's him training, or...an intruder?! Or something Rainy did--or not. ...AND THEN LECIA SAVES HIS CASTLE AND SHE GETS A HUG MAYBE. Her imagination is a large reason why she changes course, to the area (stop typing Arae) that explosion came from!

And she's wearing a... full maid uniform?

[00:49] <Giantree> "Aaack!". The maid hops up and points her broom at... A wall.  "Alright, you've beaten me THIS time!  I guess pure good enough to see him."

[00:50] <Lecia> ...Is...is she competing for his affections? Is that what's going on? Well SHE'S BETTER THAN THAT. She's gonna stay level headed! For as long as she can, anyway. The ones that don't fight each other like...harpies are the winners in the end. "...Ah...well..." ... "OK~"

06[00:59] * Yumeko finally catches up after entering the castle, with Mimu carried in her arms. "Gomen nasai, I sort of got lost along the way..." o___o;

[01:00] <Rainy> Bunbun gets left behind, tasked with training Corona in the art of SPEED and COORDINATION. Poor thing, being given such a herculean task.
01[01:01] <Caleb> 6<Yeah, she got real lost running away from the doorknob! Scaredy baby~> Mimu mimics a look of terror you could conceivably imagine Yumeko having on her face. This may or may not have actually happened.
[01:01] <Murphy> Anyway, if you follow the directions the maid give you, after going up the stairs you'd go through a hallway with stained glass windows.  A few of them depict Murphy, with black hair instead of white with a black stripe.  It looks like he's at school in one, doodling an Absol, and dressed up as a vampire for halloween in another.  Huh.
[01:01] <Yumeko> "Mimu-chan...!" she remarked, visibly blushing when Mimu did that impersonation. =o___o=
[01:02] <Rainy> Rainy nods sagely. "It was just like that."
[01:02] <Lecia> What is this dreadful feeling? Also, purple is totally cuter than orange. I'll fight about it. "S-sorry I didn't keep an eye on you! Don't get lost now, it's pretty big~" And then, directions! She's most definitely looking at those windows, yep.
[01:03] <Yumeko> "So these windows portray Murphy-san...?" Yumeko asked, looking at the stained glass windows while they are going up the stairs, managing to avoid tripping over.
[01:04] <Lecia> "Yeah, though there's kinda different...they're probably...him in the real world." Nod. She'll go with that!
[01:04] <Murphy> A decent number of them show him near bodies of water, or on a boat, and any foliage depicted looks tropical.
[01:05] <Rainy> "Wow, I think he's in my class!" After a few moments, she adds, "Just kidding, he's a big kid~"
[01:06] <Yumeko> ".....?" she has seen rivers, and probably a lake in her travels with her family, but it looked like Murphy has traveled even more compared to her. o___o?
[01:07] <Lecia> For a moment, Lecia believed what Rainy said. ...A shame Lecia doesn't leave near any large bodies of water at all. "Maybe he lives near the ocean~?" ...People that get sun don't usually end up as vampires here, now that she thinks about it. Then she stops thinking because her train of thought might get completely derailed by something out of the blue, or Murphy. Either or! Thinking, later!
[01:09] <Rainy> Silly Lecia, he's like 4 years older than her! That could be the difference between elementary and high school!
[01:09] <Murphy> The end of the hallway opens up into what looks to be a large ballroom.  There's several windows to outside, and it looks like it's nightime out there, despite it being sunny earlier before you entered the castle, and it definitely hasn't been long enough for it to shift to night.  There's a very large full moon visible in one of the windows.  Murphy is in the middle, it looks like he's
[01:09] <Murphy> training a Pikachu.  A...mean looking Pikachu.
[01:11] <Murphy> "Oh, we have visitors!  We'll continue later, I guess!" He calls the Pika back.  "Hi guys!"
[01:11] <Rainy> "Ooooh, what a cute agumon~"
06[01:12] * Yumeko finally lets Mimu down after looking around the large room, "Konbanwa, Murphy-san..." She couldn't tell if it was just the windows or if it really is night time already... n___n/
[01:12] <Lecia> She's probably imagining him as older. Blame the fangirl lurking inside. In any case, she can totally understand training mean Pokemon, she has Granzon! "Hi Murphy~!" You can feel the excitement in her voice. It's there.
01[01:12] <Caleb> The Pikachu looks mad as you recall him. He gives the lot of you the finger as he’s sucked into the ball. So mad you interrupted his training.

[01:16] <Murphy> "I'm...still not entirely sure what her deal is.  She just showed up after I put this castle together and started cleaning."
[01:16] <Rainy> "Don't worry, I left Bunbun to teach her so she can be fast and bounce around instead of tripping and stuff. I-I mean! Lecia left Bunbun so she could help you out." Rainy smiles and nods, convinced she's helping.
[01:17] <Lecia> "You should probably teach her to...er, not fall. If she's sticking around, she should be a better maid, right~?"
[01:18] <Murphy> "Yeah, I try to help her out every now and then, but she cleans perfectly despite her clumsiness.  She's good at being a maid, but bad at functioning normally, I think."
[01:21] <Yumeko> "I must say that your castle is very impressive, Murphy-san..." Yumeko said with a courteous bow before straightening up, "It is much different from castles of my homeland as well. How does your maid manage to clean everything?" o__o?
[01:21] <Murphy> "Anyway...were any of you wanting to challenge me to a Gym Match?  Not that official of a league going here, but hey."
[01:21] <Murphy> "...I have no idea how she cleans.  She just does.  I'm better off not questioning it, I think."
[01:22] <Lecia> "Huh...well, I was always taught that a maid should be proper, but I guess she does her job well enough!" As a klutz maid, anyway. Whatever works! "Oh, we were here for that too~ I am, I am~"
06[01:22] * Yumeko nods, looking to Lecia and Rainy. She is not familiar with what a gym match is, the reason why she tagged along in order to see what it is like.

[01:24] <Murphy> "...two of my Pokemon aren't ready for matches yet, so I've only got 4 to use here, let's see..."
[01:25] <Lecia> "Y-yep!" Her determination clashes with the choice of words!
01[01:25] <Caleb> 5”Milady, while I have the utmost confidence in your capabilities, it is improper to relay the results of an event before it’s concluded, regardless of how certain the outcome may be!”
[01:26] <Rainy> "Aww, don't be silly! I didn't say what happened, I just said what I came to do. Like a pizza person. They say they came to give you pizza. And then they give you pizza."
[01:26] <Murphy> "I think I'll take two of you at once, both of you using one pokemon and me using two, and then I'll take the third person one pokemon at a time, two Pokemon each.  That work?  Obviously, we're only having Pokemon fight, it's improper to have the Trainers physically fight in a league match."
[01:26] <Rainy> "Hey Mr. Kitty, I'm going to have Nini fight, okay?"
01[01:28] <Caleb> 5”That is quite alright. I would prefer simply to provide colorful commentary and moderate, if that is acceptable with you and the young Master.”

06[01:28] * Yumeko nods and listens to Murphy's explanation. So "league match" only involve pokemon fighting each other. It seems like some sort of sport that people engage in from where everyone is from.
[01:28] <Rainy> Rainy petpets her kitty before hopping off and bringing out the NINI.
[01:29] <Murphy> "And who's accompanying Rainy?  Or is she going to be the solo fighter?"
[01:30] <Lecia> "...alright! So..." Lecia VS Murphy, or Omecha Lainy VS Murphy...Yumeko might want an ally, but she might want to watch first...hmmmmmmmmmm--no! She will not leave Rainy alone! "I will~!"

And two, whenever it's full, it boosts the damage Pokemon do and make them more susceptible to damage, and when it's new, it decreases the damage Pokemon do and makes them less susceptible to damage. There's a window to outside that still shows it as being night, although if you had paid attention in the entrance you would've noticed a little sunlight poking out from

The moon isn't really visible in the windows in this room, but there's a shooting star shower in the sky. "This is the Falling Star Dining Room, and next door..." He opens a door and leads the

[04:28] <Rainy> Rainy scampers right off, getting to work! Time for french toast. She quickly dons a chef hat from the pile of silly hats she keeps hidden SOMEWHERE and gets to work. Also, have to keep the paintbrush away from food. She learned that the hard way.

06[04:46] * Murphy quick to read here, he opens the door to each room and shows Lecia them as he's saying their name. The rooms are mostly similar, with a big fluffy bed, a bookshelf, a private bathroom, a lamp on a nightstand, and an open window that shows the corresponding zodiac sign. Despite some of the rooms being on opposite ends of the hallway. Don't think about how this castle works, it's non-Euclidean.

It occasionally blows a bubble that smells like sweet cotton candy. In the dining room are two plates and big glasses of milk. The plates are seated right next to each other on the side of the table, rather than on opposite ends. (More incoming!)

And upon looking down, you see that she got a bit creative on your French Toast. Sure, the slices of french toast are heart shaped, and easily twice the size of your head in either direction, but each piece has several hat shapes cut out from it, which are on a plate on the side. Beanies, caps, fedoras, veils... You name it, Ignis has cut one out of your french toast!
