Final Fantasy Diehard% notes:

I use the word ‘ideally’ a lot because that would be best RNG but you can continue even if you don’t the best luck.

Mist Dragon Split:
•	Collect tent on right side of baron
•	Grab yellow chocobo
•	First fight right execute item duplication glitch
•	Then menu equip kains spear back – take iron glove -custom change battle speed and message to 1
•	Ideally 3 or less ecounters is decent. 1 is perfect and best RNG
•	Fight mist dragon – ideally you should be able to get in 2 kain jumps and 1 kain attack and 4 cecil attacks before it turns to mist. Then 8 seconds after the first battle prompt comes up jump with kain.

Octomamm split:

•	Mist clip – one spot left of mist, turn left and menu on the same frame. Use a tent. Then walk onto mist, then walk one frame right and menu. Save and restart. Mash A back into the game. You only have a certain amount of frames to get back into the game for the glitch to work. Something like 21 frames.
•	Menu equip spear into item menu second right slot
•	Sell second empty slot for 1966280 buy 10 daggers
•	Grab change rod and tiara from rydias house north of her mom lying on the ground.
•	Walk to kaipo. Ideally 0-1 encounters
•	Fight soldiers by holding A
•	After talking to rosa - Menu – equip rydia with tiara and dancing dagger, move rydia down one slot in formation
•	Get darkness sword in the cave – equip it to cecel in battle with octomamm
•	Octamamm battle should be cecil attack, tellah lightning, rydia dagger.  Ideally keep rydia alive.  If rydia dies, revive her with tellah to gain experience at the end of the battle.

Antlion split:


	Ride hovercraft to antlion cave
•	Equip dancing dagger to Edward in battle.
•	Antlion fight – cecil parry. Rydia and Edward dagger. 3 hits is good. 2 is extremely lucky. 4 is probable.



Mombomb Split:

	At some point you should move Edward to middle slot back row. That way during the mombomb fight it is less likely they get attacked and if they do itll be for less health.  This will take one more menuing the most people do but itll help keep him alive and get more experience for the fabul fights. Also Edward will act first for this fight, good damahe roll allows you to make him explode with one attack from everyone.

•	Park hovercraft directly to the left of mt hobbs – this is important for the 64 floor glitch
•	Ideally you can get 0 encounters on the way to mom bomb.
•	dagger with Edward, attack with cecil, attack with yang, dagger with rydia, attack with rosa. Should be this order.  If you go fast enough mom bomb will not attack twice and you should be able to stop attacking after rosa.  If damage is not 800 after rosa then you need to dagger again with Edward. This means momb bomb will probably attack twice. Makes sure rydia and Edward have full health before explosion.
•	After explosion repeat rotaion above assuming  everyone is alive.
•	There are different strategies. I choose to dagger the front two blue bombs, and have yang and cecil attack the red ones. Rosa can attack once if yang does less than 50. Etc.

Fabul:

	Walk to fabul
	All fights are easy. Just hope Edward stays alive, you don’t lose much time if he dies but its faster if hes alive.

•	Some strats have cecil Unequip shadow shield from cecil in last fight in fabul. But that just means you have to equip it later. In my experiences it doesn’t really matter.
•	Sleep at inn


Milon Z

	Buy 40 cure2’s 40 heals 40 life1s and 40 ether1s.
Armor shop buy 10 gaea armor, 10 gaea helmet, 10 paladin shield, 10 paladin glove, 10 silver
•	Walk to mt hobbs after getting the twins.
•	After getting tellah walk to milon z
•	Before the fight– menu – equip palom change rod gaea gaea silver
•	Tellah gaea gaea silver
•	Porom gaea gaea silver
•	Make form tellah palom cecil porom
•	Heal if needed. Move cure2s to first item slot.
•	During the milon fight youll pretty much have to use 3 twins.  If you get 2 strong flares you can have cecil attack once or twice. In that case you can equip cecil during the fight with the black sword during a flare and hopefully kill milon.  When the fight starts, I throw a cure2 on a zombie with cecil, tellah, and palom. Then porom sets up twin, then cecil does cure 2 again.  If you do this fast enough then when milon says “go my children” they wont do the ‘drain’ spell which will save you some time and all the twin damage will go directly onto milon which gives you the chance if attacking milon and killing it.
•	After first milon fight switch rows for back attack heal and either
•	Cecil attack, tellah blink the twins, then cure2 milonz or heal if poisoned. Twins use twin.

Kainzzo Split:

•	Keep first spot open in paladin fight for baron key later
•	virus in guard yang fight – attack yang after achoo
•	Go to weapon shop – buy 1 icelcaw and 1 thunder claw – then buy 10 headband and 10 karate
•	Before baigan
•	Menu – mp underflow glitch tellah. Equip tellah with change rod from palom. Cecil with headband and karate and paladin shield if you haven’t already. Then yang with claws and headband and karate and silver
Parry with everyone, hope the twins die. Meteo baigan.

kainazzo
Make sure tellah has good health, attack with cecil and yang. Lightning 3 with tellah.

Dark Elf Split:

		Fly to troia. Go to dark elf cave.

•	In dark elf room, equip cid with headband karate and iron, switch tellah and cid formation and change rows if you haven’t already so tellah is in the back row. cid, tellah, cecil, space, yang.

Valvalis Split:

•	Tellah use exit to leave in next room.
•	Grab yellow chocobo, hope chocobo runs left, if not then have to do it again in baron later.
•	Exit spell. troia after cutscene.  If you are still MP underflowed then you must use an either to cast exit.
•	Possible to skip cids weapon earth
•	Before magus sisters mp underflow glitch tellah
•	Menu heal
•	Equip kain headband karate
•	Equip rosa gaea gaea silver
•	Switch kain and cecil
•	Valvalis – kain jump, cecil dagger, yang attack after yang jump, rosa slow 3 times, cid attack
•	Ideal to check gil and write it down during this menu so it easier for shopping later. Basically take your gil +19500 and subtract 1073407 and this is how much you need to buy in the dwarf castle.  You need to be between 1073256-1073407 so I take the high amount and buy slight more.

Golbez Split:

•	If chocobo went right earlier then get new chocobo until it goes left. If it went right it has to be on the same square as cecil. Basically X-0 and Y-0.  Then you can still get through one of the rooms later
•	Fly to missidia and drop magma key
•	Outside of underworld castle switch cecil and cid set battle speed to 2
•	Battle message still 1
•	The new route has us going 64 floors before the dolls. Basically walk into the dwarf castle and go to the left to the item shop. Buy what you need, then walk back down and walk up into the kings room. That room is room 5. Then go down to room 6, and back up to 7. Etc. all the way to 63 and then start the cutscene and the calbena fight.


The calbrena fight has a bunch of different strategies. Mostly just make sure you mute your entire party, and keep cecil alive, and slow the dolls. Watch battles to get good at your timing.

Jump on golbez immediately when the golbez fight starts.  If someone in your party is dead you wont be able to do this.
If your timing is right then attack with cecil after “and you cecil”
Continue to attack. If damage is good you should be able to kill him right when the dialogue ends and before rydia appears.  If damage is bad, then either cecil or kain will kill him with one of their attacks.





Upt Co split:

Okay so you should have killed the dolls,  and have your gil set between 1073256-1073407.
Set your custom colors to R4G2B1 and battlespeed 4. Then warp back to crystal room and grab the crystal.
Walk out of the crystal room and you should be doing the glitch.
Left 3 times
Then up, left, up left. Then left forever.  If it didn’t automatically push you to the original spot you may have to do up, up, left up, left then left forever. Its hard to explain, watch runs to get a better feel for it.
You should land in the sealed cave. Activate the cutscene. Walk out of the sealed cave and if your gil was correct and your timing is right you should land in fusoyas palace. If you don’t, try to warp. If it works youre good. If warp didn’t work the run is over on this route. There are other options to continue but they wont be included in these notes.

If you land in fusoyas palace. Re arrange fusoyas magic:
Life with exit, sight with mute, berserk with float.
Then fire 1 with stop and warp with nuke.

Then custom to battle speed 1, then R11G7B6. Walk out of fusoyas palace and just hold up forever until you get to a castle room with stairs, its important to walk down the stairs then go into the menu and go to fusoyas magic. Move his UptCo spell to the first slot to make it quicker in the last battle and then cast exit. Youll end up in the crystal room.
Walk out and go left 3 times and up left up left. You should en up in a red room with chocobo music which we call the chocobo room.

Its importnant to not hit any incorrect buttons, doing so will delete all your save files and crash the game.

Immeditately hit A and shop. You need to buy 61000 worth of items. Ideally 44 fireshields? To get to 55000. Then 3 items worth 2000.

You can go to the right 2 spots and there is a save spot. Ideally you should save your game there. After saving go up twice (and or warp if you get stuck) and you should end up in zeromus room.  If you do not, reset and try again until you are successful.
