  50. - How to Install and Configure the Three Anonymous DarkNets -
  51. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  52.
  53. Ok, let's recap:
  54.
  55. In the previous 3 guides you installed a clean and genuine Microsoft Windows 8 Enterprise RTM for free, you then manually cracked this Operating System, you
  56. then configured all of its security for Department of Defense and Department of Homeland Security Standards and you went further and Hardened the
  57. original Security. You then installed all clean software and mitigation toolkits and you tested your Security and you have a Professional Security Rating from
  58. the DoD and DHS utilities.

  68.     | Guide Introduction
  69. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  70.
  71. You are now going to be Installing and Configuring the Three Anonymous DarkNets, these DarkNet Layers are:
  72. * The Onion Router
  73. * The I2P Anonymous Network
  74. * The FreeNet DarkNet
  75.
  76. You will also be shown how to use these DarkNets for Securely Communicating via IRC and other Communications Platforms and for Hacking Anonymously in
  77. later guides.
  78.
  79. These Networks are excellent for Anonymity and can be stacked and layered with VPN Services and Chain Proxies for additional Security.
  80. You will Install, Configure and learn about VPN Services and Chain Proxies in later guides.
  81.
  82. This guide is only for Installing and Configuring these DarkNet Services only! Do not actually go onto these DarkNets until after you have completed
  83. the rest of the #Setup and #Security guides.
  84.
  85. We will begin this guide with The Onion Router.
  86.
  87. Let's begin!
  88. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  89.
  90. Console++ Terminal
  91. (01): - Open and Configure the Console++ Application that you installed as instructed in the earlier guides.
  92. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  93.
  94. Installing and Configuring The Onion Router:
  95. (02): - Download The Onion Router Expert Edition From:
  96.      ( https://www.torproject.org/dist/win32/tor-0.2.3.25-win32-1.exe )
  97.     Install The Onion Router Package
  98.
  99. Configure The Onion Router Expert Edition Package
  100.        Open your Windows Firewall with Advanced Configurations and:
  101.        Create a new rule in OUTGOING, locate the ToR.exe executable and allow it outbound, give the rule an organized name as instructed in the earlier guides.
  102.        In the Console++ Application you need to cd ( change directory ) to where the ToR.exe file is, once you are within that directory type:
  103.        Terminal> ToR
  104.        and ToR will begin running in the Console++ Application window.
  105.        You can now route your Internet traffic through The Onion Router by binding your Application to Socks5 Host @ 127.0.0.1 on Port 9050 through the Application's Proxy Settings.
  106. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  107.
  108. Installing and Configuring The I2P Anonymous Network:
  109. (03): - Download I2P From:
  110.        ( https://www.i2p2.de/ )
  111.         Install the I2P Package
  112.
  113. Configure The I2P Package
  114.     Open your Windows Firewall with Advanced Configurations and:
  115.     Create a new rule in OUTGOING, locate all of the executables in the I2P installation directory and make a new rule allowing each executable OUTBOUND
  116.     Make sure you allow the JavaSEBinary executable INBOUND and OUTBOUND in your-
  117.     firewall table rules. The reason for this is that I2P uses Java and needs to
  118.     connect to peers for it to work properly. The JavaSEBinary file can be located
  119.     in: Windows->System32->Java.exe - it is unfortunate that the writers of this
  120.     great project didn't write a C++ implementation, however securing your Firewall
  121.     further by instead only allowing the I2P ports inbound/outbound and not the
  122.     JavaSEBinary executable inbound/outbound would greatly increase your security
  123.     while connecting to this network layer.
  124.
  125. Start I2P
  126.     Open your Console++ Application and cd ( Change Directory ) to where I2P is installed.
  127.     Type the Command:
  128.     Terminal> i2psvc -c wrapper.config
  129.     and I2P will start and load everything.
  130.     In your Web Browser input the address: http://127.0.0.1:7657 to configure all of the additional options.
  131.
  132. Configuring Software To Use I2P
  133.     I will only go into configuring your web browser to use I2P,
  134.     Find the network configuration settings interface via the options TAB-
  135.     set the HTTP Proxy to 127.0.0.1 and port 4444 for standard unencrypted connections and port 4445 for encrypted connections.
  136.     Read a more detailed guide here ( https://www.i2p2.de/htproxyports.html )
  137. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  138.
  139. Installing and Configuring The FreeNet DarkNet:
  140. (04): - Download FreeNet DarkNet From:
  141.     ( https://freenetproject.org/download.html )
  142.      Install the FreeNet Package
  143.
  144. Configure the FreeNet Package
  145.     Open your Windows Firewall with Advanced Configurations and:
  146.     Create 3 New OUTGOING Rules and allow OUTBOUND the executables: FreeNet.exe, FreeNetLauncher.exe, FreeNetWrapper.exe
  147.     Create 1 New OUTGOING Rule and allow OUTBOUND the executable: JavaSEBinary.exe ( This version was Installed when you Installed the FreeNet Package )
  148.     Open the Console++ Application ( or make a new TAB if you have it open already ) and cd ( Change Directory ) to where the FreeNet Package is Installed.
  149.     Type the Command:
  150.     Terminal> FreeNet
  151.     And FreeNet should start. Open your Web Browser and input the URL: http://127.0.0.1:8888 and Configure FreeNet.
