TO MAINTAIN COVER ON THIS SERVER, YOU MUST AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING PROTOCOL:
- Keep discussion PG-13. NSFW discussion belongs (with consent) in DMs and other servers, not here.
- Keep discussion on-topic. Off-topic and general chatty conversation belongs in the #spies channel of the Blaseball Discord.
- Be polite and forgiving toward fellow agents. Act in good faith toward each other and assume good faith from each other.
-While Spies fans' political views may vary, the general team culture is against capitalism, colonialism, and cops, and explicitly and deliberately inclusive of queerness of all types, people of all races and religions, neurodivergency, and disability. While all people fall short at times, and reasonable people can disagree about the details, expressing views outside this team culture will likely make your teammates very (and probably vocally) uncomfortable, and if you persist after being asked to stop (not to recant, simply to keep your thoughts to yourself), you may be kicked or banned from the server, in accordance with our expectation that Spies act politely and in good faith toward each other. Tolerating expression of intolerance isn't tolerance.
- Use your best judgment, but err on the side of caution, when using content notes together with ||spoiler tags|| (or <angle brackets around URLs> to suppress site previews). In particular, spoil-and-warn for:
 = body horror,
 = graphic descriptions or depictions of violence,
 = harm to animals and children,
 = major spoilers for works of media, and
 = Forbidden Knowledge in Blaseball (information not accessible through normal interaction with the website and fandom).

GWEN

We currently have three bots in this server.
One, Dyno (nicknamed Star), only has access to the #star-chamber channel, and is here primarily to allow members to create and join roles.
The only feature Fletcher has enabled here is pinning and unpinning messages; react to a message with a round_pushpin, or remove it from a pinned message, to activate this.
Carl-bot is here (as Badge Officer) to offer roles to those who have read the above protocols and agree to comply with them.



DALM

If you are a Keeper, you are welcome in this server if you are here as a fan to interact with us as fans.
If you want to talk to us as a Keeper, you can do it in the maincord (in a channel for the purpose or in not-spies), or in DMs.
Please include your keeper title in your server nickname in parentheses after the rest of your server nickname, for transparency. E.g., a Keeper Problem named Gwen would be Gwen (keeper) or Gwen (Keeper Problem) or even Problem (Keeper) but not Keeper Problem (makes it feel like you're here to talk to us as a Keeper) or just Gwen (not transparent).

Decentral Command spoiler policy for knowledge forbidden (FK) and occult (FK-adjacent):

- Use the #website-js-forbidden-knowledge channel (role required) on Decentral Command to discuss information you need to view the source code of the website to obtain, by default.

- Discuss upcoming weather and schedule information where you please, no need to use spoiler bars.

- Use spoiler bars (example: example) to hide the specific numbers and percentages for up-to-the-minute counts of votes and coins in wills, renovations, and gifts while in progress.
Example: "It looks like the off-discord folks want the Shell Exchange Teleporter more than the Umpire Anger Management Training Center, it's already at 64%!"

The existing Decentral Command spoiler policy for potentially-disturbing content remains in effect.



KURAMON

A short while ago, Decentral Command voted to introduce slowdown tools: pause_button and stop_button!
- pause_button is a way to ask the conversation to slow down. If the discussion is fast and you'd like people to pause so you can get a word in, send the pause button.
- stop_button is to let people know that you're uncomfortable with the current discussion and would like it to stop.

If you feel that the conversation is ready to resume, send a play_pause!
