Shiny Beldum story

Shiny Beldum hatch story:
I've been breeding Beldum withe the Masuda Method for about a month, but I'd only been actively hatching for maybe every other day during that time. I was using a JPN 6IV Ditto @ Destiny Knot and a Quiet Beldum @ Everstone with 5IVs (both nature and IVs lined up through other breeding chains), expecting the shiny within roughly five months. So now that part where I actually hatch it.
12 hatches later (including the Beldum I was using for the last egg chain), I had two eggs left in my party, and the Day Care Lad was waiting to give me another. After circling around a bit with the Slugma that a friend gifted to me, I got bored and went to bed. A few mornings later, April 22nd. Five minutes before class. I whip out my 3DS and start circling. I was wit another friend at the time who's never seen a Beldum before (to my knowledge) and I wanted to show him one. "Oh?" the game spits out at me. "Time to show <insert friend's name here> what a Beldum looks like, since this one simply won't be shiny. Look at the odds, right?" and so I did. As it was hatching, I flashed my screen to him saying "Look at it! Look what comes out!" Of course I was looking too...
Let's just say that the first Beldum my friend ever saw... was shiny...

I was taken aback, about to scream of excitement. I turn around, there's friend #3. He's a shiny breeder, he'll love this. "F*** you!" I say, since my thoughts are elsewhere, as I flash the screen to him. "You son of a b****!" he shouts back. He'd wanted a shiny Beldum for himself. "Wait... how many rejects?" Now I was gonna make him mad. "Half a box."

He just gets furious. I don't even remember what was next, but he probably swore to exact revenge one day. Meh, if he ever does, I'll just show him that the first Pokemon in my party is a shiny, silver/gold Metagross.
