Euphoria Rules and Description

RULES

1. There is no tolerance of attempts to ERP or any other NSFW behavior with unwilling chums or in public memos.

2. No racist or homophobic or otherwise hateful speech. This will not be tolerated at all, under any circumstance.

3. No impersonating other users.

4. No harrassing users who have blocked you.

5. Repeated and chronic abuse of the canon rules is strictly prohibited.

6. Spamming users or memos excessively.

7. Repeatedly rejoining memos you are kicked from. Repeatedly joining the memo in which you have been banned/kicked, will result in not only an IP ban by our mods, but also a referral to the pesterchum mods themselves, as well as ghostDunk.

8. Running intrusive bots.

9. Being rude to anyone OOC. Talk or ignorance of triggering/troubling subjects(Racist slang, Suicide, Gore, ect) in memo /IS/ an offense of this rule. If you are called out for such an event or notion, you will be talked to. Repeated offenses constitute a ban.

10. Both Trolls and Humans are accepted. Any ridiculous powers /MUST/ be explained and confirmed with an OP. Fanspecies are allowed, but they MUST be pre-approved by at least one mod, and must not be your first OC in the roleplay. Non-Homestuck characters, fanon characters, as well as other fandom characters (League of Legends, Anime-style and the like, ect) must be approved by a moderator or admin before use in the memo. No Exceptions. We have had trouble with this notion in the past and wish to nix any OP or Godmod-ness in the bud before it becomes an issue. This goes for Fan Classpects as well. Characters present in the memo as of 1/8/14 have already been approved. Any characters wishing to be presented after this date must be approved by the moderation team.

11: Minimum age is at 8 sweeps (or 18 years).

12: There are NO trolls who go outside of canon rules. Only VIOLETBLOODS and TYRIANBLOODS are seadwellers. Only Jadebloods can be rainbowdrinkers. There are no White/Black bloods in homestuck canon, you may not be a rainbowblood, mutant blood colors OTHER than red must be pre-approved. Any violation to canon rules will be noted and result in a ban unless you make an acceptable change.

13: God tiers ARE allowed, but the powers must apply to the Class. Any fanclasses must be existing or described logically. (Lords and Muses are not allowed, due to the OP manner of their powers.)

14: The setting is not a dream bubble. There are no ghosts under any circumstances.

15: Powerplaying/Metagaming/Godmodding is forbidden in our memo(s). By definition, these terms can refer to many situations, including but not limited to autohitting, mind-control, Claspect abuse, and forcing others to follow certain actions. If at any time you believe someone is violating the above rule, pester a mod and inform them of the situation, then wait in OOC_Euphoria. A mod will handle the situation on a case-by-case basis from there. Metagaming counts as: saying people's chumhandles in-character, saying chumhandle initials in-character, and responding to out-of-character conversations in-character, as well as the breaking of the fourth wall.

16: ADMIN SAY IS FINAL!! If an OP tells you to stop, you stop! No ifs, ands, or buts! Failure to do so will result in a kick, and eventually a ban if you persist!
16a. Seriously guys, don't mini-mod. We're here. We'll do our job. If you see someone doing something stupid, let us know.

17: Don't troll. Don't FEED the trolls. If you troll (aka coming in as if you know zero shit and spam icons), you WILL be banned permanently. All trolls are to be IGNORED until a mod deals with them. The emote known as "what did you do" is BANNNED. COMPLETELY. And Honking of any types is as well.

18: Don't RP IRL people. Just don't.

19: ALWAYS. MAKE. A. /ME. ENTRANCE. NO EXCEPTIONS EVER.

20: Dont do stupid shit. Don't try to be passively godmodded. If your character has no just reason to be able to hear from 100ft away, you can't. Seriously people.

Setting:

The club is now settled underwater in the pacific ocean on Earth, near San Francisco, California, in the year 2060.
Upon arrival at the former site of Club Euporia on the planet Acre... one would find that it, including it's former entry sign are gone. There would be a simple divet in the ground where the doors to the entryway were once before. Stepping near the mound would activate a cloaked transportilizer that will transport a person to the NEW site, and entry way... on Earth. Once you step off of the arrival Transportilizer, you may enter the elevator to the new club. The transportilizers are designed in such a way that only registered entries may enter, and anyone hosting an Empire mark or signature otherwise would find that the pad would be... well... non-existant. Anyone that has been to the club before, and entered through Acre, would be registered on the database.
On Earth itself, the club's entryway is a nice large platform about 55 meters from the SanFran costline, with a nice concrete dock (almost like a freeway) leading out to it. There's a flashing sign at the start of the dock that says "CLUB EUPHORIA THIS WAY" with an arrow pointing to it. At the platform, there are several parking places, and the entry elevator which leads straight down to the first floor.

The Club:

The rave club is 12 stories tall, inside a plexiglass globe, and is filled with many services. There is an Arena extension, and an enormous saltwater pool in another extension.

Installed in the club is a manually controlled turret system, operatable by Euphoria staff only. Said turrets have a teleporter beam, a disintegration beam (not to be used on lifeforms), and a nerve agitaion beam that causes burning pain but no actual damage.

1F. The first floor is the dance area, along with a bar, a kitchen, and a DJ booth. there are couches, and multiple booths and tables to sit at.

2F. The second floor houses a small infirmary and the #Euphoria_Game_Room. The infirmary is similar to on-campus type infirmaries, providing a sterile environment for any medical shenanigans going on. Though most people will just opt to have a Life player heal them lickety-split, inside a side room are a few healing chambers (think DBZ), capable of healing a person and even regenerating limbs over a long period of time. The game room description can be found [PLACEHOLDER UNTIL WE MAKE THE DESCRIPTION IN THE NEXT FEW DAYS].

3-8F. These floors are the bedrooms. They are for employees and paying users.

9-10F. The ninth and tenth floors are the penthouse suites, offered only to those who show good behavior.

11F. The eleventh floor is one "room", divided off by walls and doors to form a one-story house. Mystii, the club owner, along with a few others live on this floor together.

12F. The twelfth floor is the roof, which has a small pool and hot tub, as well as a wet bar and a pool table, with a beautiful view of the ocean overhead.

A polished board of what appears to be rules is visable on the wall of the first floor, and on every other floor of the club.

1. This establishment is armed with a fully functional turret system. Violators of the following rules are and will be subjected to punishment by turret system.
2. No going behind the bar unless told to.
3. No thievery of goods. (At closer inspection, it seems someone has scratched into the side of the wall that lines up with this, a small note. "No one cares when no one's here.")
4. No violence. If you need to fight someone, take it to the arena downstairs.
5. Don't be an asshole. Seriously. If you're being an asshole you're getting teleported out.

CHANGELOG (rule changes will be recorded here):

7/29/13--Lowered age limit to 8 sweeps/18 years to fit real club atmosphere better. Legal drinking age is 18years/8 sweeps in this world.

9/15/13--Edited second half of Rule 10 to restrict fanspecies. Fanspecies created after this date must be pre-approved by moderators. If you are currently using a fanspecies at the time of this rule's creation, you may continue to use that species, but the moderation team reserves the right to approve/deny current fanspecies that were created before this rules implementation.

11/24/13--Added three things. A description of the turret system in Euphoria, a rule defining and outright banning godmodding and such, and an In-Character rule sheet that characters should be aware of, and are punishable by having the staff use the turret system on their characters. These can be seen as Rule 15, the added line of description right above the floor description, and the rules listed under the floor descriptions.
