[14:35] * Purple_Kay sets a decent pace toward Chapel with a pair or corpses slung across his back. The wasteland is fun that way sometimes.
[14:36] * Proverb is curled up on the operating table still, resting lightly. She seems to be doing a lot better, minus her missing leg.
[14:42] <TenMihara|GM> Daisy hols Proverb's remaining forehoof comfortingly
[14:43] * Razor is retrieving their belongings from Megamart, and making sure some kind of note is left for the others to know they've gone to Chapel.
[14:45] * Proverb squeezes Daisy's forehoof gently in her sleep, murring softly.
[14:46] <TenMihara|GM> Daisy looks to Green_Field, "Think Kay will be able to get her a new leg?"
[14:46] * Purple_Kay sighs. "Dammit, Rush..."
[14:48] <Green_Field> "I don't know, but if he would need help attaching it, I'd be happy to."
[14:48] * Proverb stirs lightly, cracking open her one eye slightly. "Uff..."
[14:49] * Green_Field taps Proverb lightly. "You ok?" She had just been talking with them.
[14:50] * Razor starts heading in the direction of Chapel once she takes care of things in Megamart. Hopefully she'll catch up with Purple_Kay soon enough.
[14:50] * Proverb blinks a few times. "Yeah... suddenly tired there for a moment."
[14:51] * Purple_Kay shakes his head. "Fuck things up and leave... its almost like a pattern, you son of a bitch." He snorts. "Still wish it hadn't played out this way..." He goes silent, walking along. It's a while before he hears hoofsteps and turns to see Razor a ways back on the road.
[14:52] * Green_Field smiles. "That's ok. You did just undergo a heavy surgery."
[14:53] * Proverb nods to Green_Field. "Yeah..." She sighs. "When can I go see Harmony?"
[14:59] * Green_Field pats Proverb. "She still needs to rest. She's sick. Wouldn't want you catching it particularly after your surgery."
[15:04] * Proverb droops her ears. "B-But she doesn't even know what happened, that I'm okay..."
[15:04] * Razor trots quickly up to Purple_Kay, breathing a little bit heavily, because of hurrying so quickly. After a few moments of catching her breath, she says, "Everything's all set. When they come back, they'll find out where we've gone."
[15:06] * Purple__Kay nods. "Good." He takes several more steps in silence. "A lot must have happened while I was gone..."
[15:07] * Razor gives a bit of a nod. "More than a lot... Everything's changed."
[15:07] * Green_Field nods. "Well, I can tell her and I do have my clean spell. You should be good enough to move as long as we don't do anything too extrenuous."
[15:12] * Purple__Kay has a bit of... resentment is too strong a word... but close... in his voice. "Tell me about it."
[15:13] * Proverb nods to Green_Field. "Okay!"
[15:14] * Green_Field smiles and gets Proverb up. He looks at Triage. "We need to get back to the others. Thanks again."
[15:15] <TenMihara|GM> Rime has nearly finished her Taintling disabling device. All she needs is a few more bits and pieces, and she instructs Logic to take a quick trip to Megamart for them. After that, they would be ready to test the thing. If it worked, they would be able to take it to the Taintling hive and deal with them once and for all.
[15:16] * Proverb leans up against Green_Field, smiling. "Thank you Triage."
[15:16] <TenMihara|GM> *Logic_Gates
[15:17] <TenMihara|GM> Triage smirks, "Before you go rushing off, I do still have to charge you for use of the COllegiate's facilities. But I'm feeling generous, that and I kinda screwed up during the first attempt at the operation, so just a hundred caps please."
[15:19] * Razor gives a little shrug. "There's not much to tell... you've seen most of it. And I told you about the other stuff... Unless there's something you wanna ask."
[15:22] * Purple__Kay exhales a deep breath. "You told me about Smelter... but all the rest..." He shakes his head. "I suppose it doesn't matter so much. Things are... much the same..."
[15:24] * Logic_Gates agrees, then pops out into the Megamart with a green burst of light, and then proceeded to go bolt shopping.
[15:25] * Green_Field hoofs her the 100. "We'll be back later." In a flash and after a warning, he, Proverb, and Daisy find themselves in Megamart.
[15:25] <TenMihara|GM> Green_Field's arrival flash would be noticeable by Logic_Gates!
[15:28] * Razor frowns. "Well... it's been a lot. But not a lot that can be explained easy."
[15:30] * Purple__Kay "Wish I didn't need explanations... I should have been here... woken up faster... I wasted time dreaming I could have been being useful."
[15:30] * Purple__Kay shakes his head and sighs.
[15:30] * Proverb wobbles a bit on her 3 legs.
[15:31] * Green_Field helps Proverb walk and looks around for the others, debating a trip to see Harmony.
[15:32] * Logic_Gates blinkblinks. Green. He proceeded to creep up behind him and follow, hopefully without him knowing.
[15:33] * Razor gives a bit of a huff. "You were /dead/. I... didn't even think you'd wake up at all. There's no way you could help that."
[15:35] * Purple__Kay looks over with just  a small smirk. "Just a little dead. Sorry I worried you."
[15:42] * Purple__Kay 's armor whirs with each step, mixing with the sound of Razor's armor. A change in topic could do them well. "How's it feeling under power?"
[15:50] * Razor welcomes the change of subject. "It's not as... sluggish as it was before. I could barely even move. It's still a little weird to use, but better than before, by a long way."
[15:52] * Purple__Kay settles in to a bare-minimum teaching strategy for all the neat little features. He figures she'll be particularly interested in the combat chem distribution system. The walk to Chapel is one nice long lesson.
[15:53] * Logic_Gates smirks. Time to practical joke.
[16:05] * Green_Field decides to risk it and take Proverb to see Harmony.
[16:06] <TenMihara|GM> There's no answer to the knock at Harmony's door
[16:07] * Green_Field sighs. No Harmony and no group mates. "Well, looks like we've got nothing going then."
[16:08] * Proverb droops her ears. "I-Is she gone...?"
[16:09] * Logic_Gates is now tarp pony. Tarp pony's main goal in life is to follow Green around and badly hide himself whenever he gets spotted. Tarp pony gonna creep 'em out.
[16:10] * Green_Field checks the door.
[16:11] <TenMihara|GM> It opens inwards with a creak, the room looks deserted, and there's a note on the pillow
[16:13] * Green_Field looks around and checks the note.
[16:13] * Proverb looks on, her tail starting to droop slowly.
[16:14] * Razor may be a little bored of so many lessons. But, at least they're practical. And important. She just wishes the ponies who designed the armor thought to make it much easier to remember how to use it.
[16:14] <TenMihara|GM> "I am sorry to leave you like this, but this place holds too many bad memories for me. I had decided to leave the accursed blight of Hoofington, and try to make a fresh start elsewhere. I'm so sorry Proverb, I know this will break your heart, but it's something I must do. Please understand. My regards to all the rest of you. ~Harmony."
[16:16] * Green_Field 's heart drops. He quickly looks at Proverb and then reads it again. Not even a goodbye in person.
[16:17] * Proverb whimpers a little. "Wh-what is it Green?"
[16:21] * Green_Field takes a deep breath. She's going to learn soon enough anyway. "Harmony's not here."
[16:23] <Proverb> "I... I can see that. What did... did the note say?"
[16:24] * Green_Field floats the note in front of Proverb. "That she left."
[16:27] * Purple__Kay sees the Chapel up ahead. He sighs. "Razor... You said you had a place in mind?"
[16:28] * Proverb reads over the note. Then reads it again. And again. And again. The small mare takes a deep breath, and lets it out with a shudder. She staggers over to the bed that Harmony had been sleeping in, hugs one of the pillows to her muzzle, and lets out a sob as she falls onto the bed, curling up tightly.
[16:29] * Razor nods. "Yes... You remember before, right? When Missile was here with us... before he had to leave?"
[16:32] * Purple__Kay nods. "With Doc, right? Shame, that. There was something there before she was cut down." He checks the bodies are wrapped well enough to be just bundles and starts a slow walk toward the Chapel. "Don't rightly know why he worked so hard to get her out from under Caprice's hooves..."
[16:33] * Green_Field shows the note do Daisy. This one is going to hurt bad for Proverb.
[16:34] <TenMihara|GM> Daisy frowns at the note. Harmony she had admired, if not had the most direct relationship with. She looks to kProverb, feeling a pang of sympathetic heartache
[16:35] <TenMihara|GM> As Kay and Razor approach Chapel, a few of the Crusaders, armed, come up and stop them. "Who goes there?" they enquire, weapons out, but not raised.
[16:36] * Proverb doesn't really cry too much, just soft whimperings into the pillow, trying to sniff out all of Harmony's scent. "D-D-Didn't... didn't even get t-to say g-goodbye..."
[16:36] * Purple__Kay smiles. "Friends here to see Priest." Must be different guards, he's pretty recognizable even in the armor... or at least he would think he is.
[16:37] * Razor nods to Purple__Kay. "He'd like it to be there." At the sudden call out from the Crusaders, she stops. She adds, "It's important."
[16:38] <TenMihara|GM> The guards look to the tarps, "WHat are you carrying?"
[16:40] * Tarp_Pone seems to make a raspberry sound, then proceeds to scramble around for a bit before returning into place.
[16:42] * Green_Field doesn't really know what to do here. He resists the thoughts of what he would feel if he lost Daisy.
[16:42] * Purple__Kay moves to pass the little guards.
[16:43] <TenMihara|GM> The Guards step in front or Purple_Kay, "What are you carrying?" they insist.
[16:44] * Proverb looks up at Green_Field and Daisy, tears rolling down her cheeks. "I... c-can I have the n-note please?"
[16:44] * Purple__Kay looks down at the little guard. Might as well just be straight with them. "Bodies for the cemetary."
[16:45] <TenMihara|GM> The guard frowns a bit, looking nervous at the mention of bodies. "Wait here." He scampers off, leaving the other foal to watch them while he heads into the chapel proper
[16:46] <TenMihara|GM> Daisy moves around to the side of the bed and strokes Proverb's side gently
[16:48] * Purple__Kay looks down at the other foal. "You new guards? I thought I'd met them all. Then again I spent some time dead, so who knows how far in the future I am now." He smirks.
[16:49] <TenMihara|GM> The foals eyes Purple_Kay, then nods, "I actually just found this place a week ago."
[16:50] * Green_Field floats the note back in front of Proverb. "Of course."
[16:50] <TenMihara|GM> The filly is wearing foal-sized armour, and her blank-flank is covered by the crusaders' cape
[16:51] * Purple__Kay smiles. "Lucky you, then. It's a good place." He goes to take a step. "No real reason to make us wait, is there Sweetheart?"
[16:51] * Proverb takes the note, carefully folds it, and tucks it into her packs. "I'm going to find her." She says, sniffling as she leans into Daisy.
[16:51] <TenMihara|GM> The filly frowns a little, "I'm sure you're a nice pony, but I don't know you yet, so I have to wait."
[16:54] * Purple__Kay looks back to Razor. "Well, don't think it would be advisable to try and force the issue with these guards..." He settles down to his haunches, his dainty lifter-arm unfolding from his shoulder and digging in his back. He pulls out a blank sheet of paper and begins to fold it.
[16:54] * Razor gives a little sigh. "Well they'd better hurry up..."
[16:55] <TenMihara|GM> It only takes a couple minutes for the colt to come back with Priest. He sees Purple_Kay and gives a sad sigh as he looks at the tarp, "Yes, I know these ponies." He trots up to them. "Who did you lose?" he asks morosely
[16:56] * Green_Field puts a hoof on Proverb's shoulder. "Proverb, we don't know where she went."
[16:56] * Purple__Kay gives the little folded wedge a toss. It floats on the air down the hill. He sighs. "Missile Rush. I assume Copper and Amber are still staying with you?"
[16:57] * Purple__Kay is also substantially less dead than Priest would remember hearing from when they delivered the energy weapons.
[16:57] * Proverb snorts. "I don't care! I'll find her!"
[16:59] <Green_Field> "Slow down, Proverb,  you shouldn't be running off on your own in your condition."
[17:00] <TenMihara|GM> Daisy clings to Proverb, "Don't go. You're hurt. I don't want to lose another friend!" She cries.
[17:03] * Proverb weakly shoves at Green_Field. "I don't care!" She shouts, before drooping her ears further and nuzzling into Daisy's shoulder as the tears started flowing agian. "I j-just want Harmy b-back..."
[17:04] <TenMihara|GM> Daisy wraps her hooves around Proverb and holds her tight, not letting her go anywhere.
[17:04] <TenMihara|GM> Priest frowns, "Yes. They will be devastated. That said, I heard you had passed on as well. You look pretty good considering."
[17:06] <TenMihara|GM> Priest looks at the tarps, "Who is the other?"
[17:06] * Purple__Kay frowns back. "Lost some time, but I'm pretty hard to keep down." He pauses and looks over the top of Priest toward the Chapel. "We'd like to bury him next to Doc... Him and his brother... Would that be alright."
[17:06] <TenMihara|GM> Priest nods, "I think I can accomodate that, yes. His brother you say?"
[17:07] * Green_Field frowns. Not much can be done except let her cry. She won't be reasonable until she's gotten some out.
[17:08] * Tarp_Pone peeks around the corner. Raspberries. Leans back out of sight. Tarp Pone gonna creep.
[17:08] * Proverb devolves into sobbing into Daisy's coat.
[17:09] <TenMihara|GM> Daisy cries too for her friend's sake, rubbing her coat
[17:10] * Green_Field makes for the door. Daisy has this well in hoof. He needs to... well, he needs a drink. "I'm just going to step out. I'm sorry."
[17:10] * Purple__Kay nods. "So he said before he died." He turns to Razor. "You want to take them to the cemetery? If Copper and Amber are at Star House, I'd like to get them... let them know."
[17:12] <TenMihara|GM> Priest steps up to help carry one of them
[17:13] * Razor nods. She takes Missile, placing him on her own back to carry, and helps move Gale to Priest.
[17:15] * Purple__Kay gives Razor a reassuring little smile and heads toward Star House, assuming they are their considering Priest didn't say otherwise.
[17:15] * Tarp_Pone hides behind a comically small piece of junk upon shifting out of view of Green_Field. Raspberries.
[17:15] <TenMihara|GM> Gale takes the weight with a bit of effot and begins walkign to the cemetary with Razor.
[17:16] <TenMihara|GM> Star House is right where it always has been. Purple_Kay can hear movement inside
[17:16] <TenMihara|GM> *Priest takes Gale's weight
[17:16] * Proverb sobs with Diasy for a good long while, until she runs out of tears to cry with.
[17:17] * Purple__Kay mounts the porch, his weight on the wood undoubtable causing a squeak or three. He knocks gently on the doorframe.
[17:17] <TenMihara|GM> Daisy holds her close the entire time
[17:19] * Green_Field sighs and heads for the bar after seeing what briefly looked like a moving tarp in the corner of his eye. He really needs a drink.
[17:21] <TenMihara|GM> As Green heads towards the bar, a pony approaches him, that he would recognize as the supervisor of room rental at Megamart. "Excuse me," she asks delicately, noticing Green didn't look well
[17:22] * Tarp_Pone ducks and hides behind stalls, knocking over small objects along the way. If Green ever looks back, Tarp pone would take a moment right after he was spotted and actually turned around to hide behind something.
[17:23] * Razor brings Missile to the cemetary. She's quiet as she walks with Priest.
[17:23] * Green_Field stops and looks at him, wondering if it's about Harmony's room. "Yes?"
[17:24] <TenMihara|GM> Priest looks at Razor. He says nothing, but looks as though he'd be willing to listen if she wanted to say anything
[17:25] <TenMihara|GM> Amber answers the door. She smiles when she sees Purple_Kay, "Sis! The nice pony who made your hooves is here!" Copper joins her at the door a moment later. "Hello Purple_Kay, good to see you. It's been a while."
[17:27] * Purple__Kay smiles at the little filly. "It's been too long... mind if I come in." Perhaps they didn't get passed the news, but that makes things easier. He doesn't have to explain himself being alive and can instead focus on breaking the news that Rush isn't.
[17:29] <TenMihara|GM> Copper nods and trots around the small kitchen, a pot of tea sittign on the stove. "You have good timing."
[17:30] * Purple__Kay gingerly walks in and sits on the floor. "How're the hooves holding up?"
[17:32] <TenMihara|GM> They make a bit of a p-thoonk sound as she trots. "They're functional, if not altogether fancy. I really do appreciate them."
[17:33] <TenMihara|GM> The mare passes him a different note, "You are Green_Field, correct?"
[17:34] * Green_Field nods and takes the note, loking at it. "Yes."
[17:34] * Purple__Kay smiles at her. "I'll try and find some time to check them before we go... mind if I take off the armor? We are going to be here a bit."
[17:35] <TenMihara|GM> Copper nods, "Go ahead. I can't imagine it's too terribly comfortable in that."
[17:37] * Purple__Kay lets the suit split and frees himself. He stretches a bit, his manipulator arm as well, and moves over to their couch and sits. He heaves a deep sigh. "I'm afraid I'm not here for the best of reasons..."
[17:38] <TenMihara|GM> Copper seats herself, frowning a bit. Amber takes the kettle off and pours them each a cup of tea.
[17:38] <TenMihara|GM> She seems impressed by his manipulator arm
[17:39] * Razor isn't really up for talking about what happened right now. But, she does take a little comfort in Priest's presence.
[17:39] * Purple__Kay takes the cup of tea with his mechanical arm and brings it up to his face. He frowns down into it and pats the cushion beside him on the couch for the filly to sit while he begins. "There was a fight... we were ambushed..."
[17:40] <TenMihara|GM> The note is from Razor. "Gone to Chapel. Missile's retard brother brought the body back, then offed himself rather than help us. Join us so we can bury them."
[17:40] <TenMihara|GM> Amber seats herself and sips her tea
[17:40] <TenMihara|GM> Copper frowns, sighing. "Did you lose someone?"
[17:41] * Purple__Kay nods. "Yes... we did. We came back here to bury him." He steels himself with a breath. "I know you had a mixed history with him, but you should know. Missile Rush is dead."
[17:42] <TenMihara|GM> Copper frowns, her expression hard to read. "I see..." Amber gasps, "You mean the nice pony who brought us things?" She looks about to cry.
[17:44] * Purple__Kay puts a hoof on the filly's back, giving her a little squeeze. "I'm sorry Amber, but yes. He never saw it coming... he didn't suffer or hurt."
[17:44] * Green_Field stares at the note and looks toward the bar. One drink. He's been doing well, one is ok. He nods to the mare "Thank you. I'll make sure to pass the message along."
[18:02] <Purple__Kay> * Tarp_Pone shuffles along to the bar. Tarp_Pone gonna do something now.Tarp_Pone shuffles underneath a table and raspberries loudly.
[18:02] <Purple__Kay> <TenMihara|GM> The mare nods and heads back to her wherever she came from
[18:02] <Purple__Kay> <TenMihara|GM> Amber sniffles into her Tea
[18:02] <Purple__Kay> <TenMihara|GM> Copper sighs and shakes her head, "He was trying hard tomake amends. I suppose if he's gone, I should let go. I owe him a farewell at least."
[18:02] <Purple__Kay> * Purple__Kay shifts his hoof over around her shoulder and hugs her lightly. Theyounger obviously had more of an attachment to him... understandable considering Copper knew why hefelt so obligated to them. He looks back to Copper. "We'll come get you when it's time."
[18:00] <TenMihara|GM> Copper nods, sipper her tea. "Thank you for telling us."
[18:00] <TenMihara|GM> Amber continues to sniffle
[18:01] * Purple__Kay rolls off the couch to sit in front of Amber. He gives her a little kiss on the forehead. "I know it hurts. He was a good stallion and he cared about you. Remember him fondly and he won't really ever be gone." He strokes her mane.
[18:03] <TenMihara|GM> Amber nods, rubbing her eyes and nose and trying to finish her tea
[18:06] * Purple__Kay gives her shoulder a final squeeze. He stands and looks over to Copper. "You two are the strongest fillies I know." His hoof raises just enough toward Copper to be an offer. He knows she doesn't like to be touched... at least after the rescue... but there's something to be said for a kind gesture's effect.
[18:08] <TenMihara|GM> Copper shakes the hoof wit ha nod, then hugs her little sister
[18:12] * Purple__Kay slips out, leaving his armor there... they can't hurt it. He'll get it back when they leave. He heads back to Razor an Priest at the cemetery. He looks around and takes up a shovel.
[18:12] * Tarp_Pone starts to shuffle up to Green_Field. Then he slowly goes up to where he's drinking, slides up right on him, and then without warning jumps on his back!
[18:14] * Proverb nuzzles Daisy, sniffling softly.
[18:17] <TenMihara|GM> Daisy nuzzles Proverb back, holding her close
[18:19] * Proverb shudders slightly, sighing. "What do I do Daisy...?"
[18:21] <TenMihara|GM> Daisy shakes her head, "You may not be big, but you're tough. You can decide what to do for yourself. Just don't you go leaving us too."
[18:30] * Proverb nuzzles Daisy gently. "I won't leave... but... I d-don't know what to do... I just... I keep losing everypony that's important to me..."
