  1. This uses Windows. I'm sure there's a way to do this on a Mac or Linux, but as far as I can tell you'd have to compile the tools yourself. Other than that and the fact that the command for your ip address is different, you should be able to follow the same instructions.
  2.
  3. Step one: Acquire yourself a cafiine_server.exe. You can download one from Google by searching mrrean cafiine and downloading the Github. This version pulls files from cafiine_root\title-id\vol\content, where title-id is the title id of the game, with the dash. There's also a version with gui (that also lets you dump files), but I haven't found a compiled version.
  4.
  5. Step two: Acquire a mod. You could get a dump and try to make your own (yay text edits!), or you could download one if you can find it. You could also go to smashcustommusic.com and download some bfstms from there. Throw it in the appropriate folder under cafiine_root\00050000-10176900\vol\content (at least for Splatoon). Now, go into a cmd and type ipconfig. Copy down your ipv4 adress. Then run cafiine_server.exe.
  6.
  7. Step three: Go to your Wii U. Run cafiine. The easiest way to do this is through loadiine.ovh, but if you wanted you could host the files yourself. Once you run cafiine, you should get a place to put your ip address. Put in your ipv4 address from before. Press A if you have a disc or X if you have a download, and Splatoon should load up.
  8.
  9. Step four: Congratulate yourself on a successful hack, or beat yourself up because you crashed the game. Either way, you did it! Splatoon loads its music when the song starts, so if you change some music while the game is running, the change should be in effect immediately. Most files, like .pack files and the language files, load on boot, so if you change those you have to exit to the home menu and reenter for those to take effect.
