Hey everyone, I would just like to give my apologies for all the parents who had lost their sons and daughters who had died years ago after an incident with, "The Real Game."

Welcome to 1999, things were becoming the future with Windows 98 computers, cameras and even games coming in CDs! And when I was 15-16 years old, I was sick from home and I had gone to a games shop quite far from my home with my parents, it's usually where we pick up games from "Nintendo 64, Super Nintendo, Sega Saturn and even PC." and when I got there, there was a new game that just released for everyone who owned the Windows 98 PC. This was titled, "The Real Game"

I had my eyes on it when I saw how off it looked. There was no cover, style or nothing, just a black plastic case. And inside, was what appears to look like a written white blank CD with "THE REAL GAME" written with one of those permanent markers. Now, usually people wouldn't look into these type of things because they could be crappy games since they look so cheap. But something hit me about this CD and I really needed to know what this was, so of course, I told my parents I would buy this game (so I told them to wait), then I went to the counter, and pulled out my money so I could purchase this CD.

As I was pulling out my wallet and taking out cash to purchase the game, the shopkeeper looked at me as if I shocked him. He had said to me,

"You should take care of this game properly, okay?" The shopkeeper asked.

"Okay.. Wait, why? What is wrong? Is there something wrong with the game, or are you thinking I don't look after stuff carefully?" I questioned. "I mean come on, who cares what even happens to this anyway, obviously I'll keep it safe, but, it's just a cheap, lonely, unknown game. Nothing should really matter, it's just an ordinary game but it looks all.. weird.."

"You know what.. Eh.. Just enjoy the game, I'm pretty sure you will enjoy it. Just be careful, okay?" And the shopkeeper waved "Goodbye" to me as I walked out the store.

I walked out the store deeply confused and I started questioning myself about him.. acting so.. suspicious, or something.. I mean, why would he tell me to be careful? Is there something wrong with that game? ....Nah! It's just an ordinary game, we'll all be fine and enjoy it. And I went home with my parents.

So when I got to my 98 computer, I was about to insert the game, but that moment stopped when I started having second thoughts about this game. I didn't want to have any viruses or anything. But then when I said, hey, this came from my gaming store, this couldn't possibly have anything wrong, I filled up with excitement, shoved the game in and waited on.

The CD on the computer was called "REAL LIFE (D:)" and it contained an installation wizard which popped up already so I looked into that instead. The installation wizard was completely different. It had a simple dark background and it just had the usually welcome, but it was different.. And strange..

"Welcome to the real world"

"The wizard will helpfully guide you to installing the planet Earth on your system. You will need to provide important information such as name, country, city etc. If the game isn't installed correctly, there will be consequences.."

Now this is such a weird greetings from a setup for the actual game, but I completely ignored it and clicked next. Then I appeared  with this which I was prepared for anyway.

"WARNING: Enter correctly or bad things could happen!"

I entered all information and clicked next. It began installing, and then it was complete. It appeared on my desktop as "THE REAL GAME" and I opened it up. Things had gotten a little odd here.

The game was all mediocre and it was distorted and it displayed static. It then popped up with the following message:

"Now before we get started, you shall learn the controls."

Done that, then we are greeted into the game.

"Good! Let's start the experience.."

Waited 5 seconds after..

"Do whatever you want! We will start you off at your school and you can go ahead and do such. You could go into a classroom, smash a desk and rip up the maths work, just do what you want!"

And I appeared at.. My school? This is unbelieveable. And everyone was there. Students, teachers, cleaners, everyone! I couldn't believe my eyes.

So I took a tour around the game inside my own school and saw somebody I hated a lot outside the school (I guess it was break time). And I hated him so much that I could knock him out. And when I started grinding my teeth to the person I hated so much. Students in the game pointed out the mysterious person (that was me!). And at this point I saw that I had pulled out a knife, and I stabbed the person with it and the whole game put text up, reading "LET'S GO KILLING!" then it started really flickering, twitching and playing loud static. Kids were shrieking, screaming, and I began to notice my player was running around, violently attacking, torturing and KILLING hundreds of the students I knew from my school. The player was shouting such hateful words, he laughing at them, causing so much pain on them and torturing them to death. The blood, guts, everything was realistic. They were screaming horribly. Then, the player had paused, the camera turned around straight to the player, and it made a massive GROWL before going to static. LOUD noises were heard, blood-curdling screams, crying, laughing, and jumpscares happening constantly.

At this rate, I was getting violently disturbed. I started shaking around, tearing down the walls of my room, smashing my Nintendo and SEGA consoles. And eventually, started cutting myself, laughing.. Then.. passed out on the spot..

I was at hospital. Doctors, police and my parents were there. My father had told me that I had suffered panic attacks and eventually had a stroke with some other unknown problem, which caused me to go violent, and also just drop on the floor, choking.

I was crying at the moment, and my parents hugged me and told me that it was all over. The police came in and said.

"Is it over? A lot of students were injured, attacked, raped and most were killed at his school. We wonder if he had something to do with it."

My father replied "He wouldn't go Columbine on the school, even if he hated this one person. And also, he was never violent like that, he wouldn't do a thing!"

My mother then said "He was home for 2 days having the stomach bug, he was puking all day. And he was out of school for a while because of that. Even if he was at school, I would never see the rage in him to do that kind of things. Including rape, I don't think he would do anything of that."

After hospital and that, I was back home and my whole computer had burst into flames and exploded. And the police had reported a mysterious letter with text written in a kind of scratchy, raging font in red pen, it had said:

"Didn't you enjoy it? Didn't you enjoy the suffering of your own haters? After all, they ran you into a lot of crap for 6 years. Don't you just want to KILL them? You should ripping the heads off their shoulders, cutting their stomach open and tossing the remains on a tree branch just to see them hanging, choking and coughing up blood, desperately crying for help. And there is no help, there is only the opposite, and I am in charge of it.

The whole world is tied up in the dark. And I am your master, holding all of it, haunting it forever. I shall take this game, and escalate it further within. The whole world shall bow before me, and the game will become bigger than it was. It will be the biggest destruction known to mankind, and every bit of planet Earth, will rot away, slowly. Torturing EVERY part of it..

And I will get you too soon, child. When you die, I will grab you and haunt you forever, in darkness alone. And everyone else shall be grasped into my hands. Watch me, I will rise again. This time even more deadly..
