  2. [06:24] <@SilentBrony|GM> Last we left our squad of wasteland adventurers, they had just finished off the last remaining elements of the Scorpion Mercenary Tribe. Inside the security room headquarters, they are treated to a treasure trove of various alchemical, medical, and combat related goods. Now will they return to Glassy Flats with Sightseer to claim their reward?

  4. 08[06:25] * +Sagittis nods to Dust_Off. "Try that as the code!"
  5. [06:25] <@SilentBrony|GM> Our entire party, plus Sightseer are inside the security room with a dead Emperor Scorpion and Radscorpion. A computer terminal that is hooked to a large multi-screened security camera system is in the middle of the room.
  6. 08[06:26] * +Sour_Grape is still lying weakly on Dusty's back. Posion sucked/
  7. 08[06:26] * +Dust_Off places the password slip on the desk and begins typing. "They didn't like our new friend." She types in CaneSucksALot! into the terminal.
  8. 12[06:27] * +Green ignores the idea of checking if there are any boxes left after Ammy`s looting of them in favour of checking whats on the computer with Dust_Off.
  9. 08[06:27] * +Roy_Calbeck is still in position behind the dead body of the Emperor, sighting down the hallway out in expectation of possible new "friends".

  12. [06:29] <@SilentBrony|GM> The terminal makes an audible beeping sound, the screen displays in green and black, "ACCESS GRANTED!" revealing three seperate options. One says Security Camera system access, the other Intercom access, the last saying 'Observations',
  13. 08[06:30] * +Sagittis snuffles around the room to see if he can dig out anything else of use while the others are working. If not, he goes and stays by Sightseer.
  14. 12[06:31] * +Green looks to Dust_Off. "Hows Grape? You fixed her right?"
  15. 08[06:31] * +Sour_Grape looks at sightseer, "hey... lady. Gotta question."
  16. [06:31] <@SilentBrony|GM> Sagittis notes the party has pretty much wiped the room clean of any futher items. Only three locked ammo boxes remain.
  17. 08[06:32] * +Sagittis takes the boxes and puts them on his back.
  18. [06:32] <@SilentBrony|GM> The yellow unicorn mare with her pony-tail green mane, turns to Sour Grape and says to speaks to her in a smile, "What is it Sweetie?"
  19. 08[06:32] * +Dust_Off selects Security Cameras. "She's been given the antivenom, but they'll take a little while to work."
  20. 08[06:33] * +Sour_Grape "Why weren't ya lockec uP? and there anyone else what needs savin?
  21. [06:33] <@SilentBrony|GM> The security camera option blinks the screen to show two options as it reads out, 'Turn Camera system Off? Y / N'
  22. 08[06:35] * +Dust_Off looks up at the camera monitors to see what they were showing.
  23. [06:36] <@SilentBrony|GM> Sightseer shakes her head and says, "Unless yew found more down in that parking garage, there's just me." she then shifts and explains, "Way-ell, When me and Sageetus, got captured by them thar bastards, they told me to guide them through the deh-sert, but ah' refused. That bitch thought if she threatend mah pah, Ah'd give in."
  24. [06:37] <@SilentBrony|GM> Dust_Off notes most if not almost all the security cameras were either damaged from the fighting, snow, or blank. Only two remained clear and active enough to reveal the parking garage and outside of 'The Iron Maredon',

  26. 08[06:38] * +Dust_Off debates it internally leaves the camera system active. She backs out of the camera menu to the intercom system.

  28. [06:39] <@SilentBrony|GM> Sightseer tilts her head and replies, "Dune fer one. Probably, bout the only thing within miles worth hitchin cross the deh-sert for, but even thats debateable. There's also something said to be smack dab in the middle of the deh-sert, but ah wouldn't go there none. Ah heard something nasty lives there... nopony that sets out for the center evah returns."

  30. 08[06:39] * +Sagittis walks over to Dust_Off. "You see any more of 'em?"

  32. [06:40] <@SilentBrony|GM> Dust_Off notes when she selects the option it says, 'Intercom system active, Deactivate? Y / N' There is indeed next to the computer terminal an aged intercom with a wire that is hooked to the side of the terminal.. a large button and light at the base.

  34. 08[06:41] * +Dust_Off shakes her head, "No, sir. Only cameras left are outside here and in the garage." The mare looks at the big red button and presses it.
  35. 12[06:42] * +Green stares at Dust_Off working on the screen while keeping her forehead furrowed in deep thinking.
  36. [06:42] <@SilentBrony|GM> Sightseer raises an eyebrow in slight confusion to Sour_Grape and replies, "Ah don't rightly know exactly wut's thar. Ah never known any ant to go in the sand dunes though... the dunes can be right steep in some spots. Swallow you up real quick, like tha earth is hungry!"
  37. 08[06:42] * +Roy_Calbeck looks back at Sightseer for a moment. "We've had some major run-ins with critters of the six-legged variety recently."
  38. 08[06:42] * +Sour_Grape "We should go there then."
  39. [06:43] <@SilentBrony|GM> The intercom system crackles and picks up the ambient noises in the room, broadcasting it faintly throughout the mall.
  40. [06:43] <+Dust_Off> "Thank you for coming, mall customers. We have a sale on second hand armor and weapons. All over the mall. Also clean up all over the mall."
  41. 08[06:43] * +Roy_Calbeck laughs.
  42. 08[06:43] * +Roy_Calbeck returns to looking down the hallway with his rifle at the ready.

  44. 08[06:44] * +Sour_Grape snickers at Dust_Off
  45. 08[06:44] * +Sagittis nods with a smirk and walks over to Sightseer. He puts a hoof on her shoulder. "It looks like we got them all. I am going to give this place another scour. See if I can find anything useful. I'll meet you out front."
  46. 08[06:44] * +Dust_Off backs out of the intercom system and accesses the observations section.
  47. [06:45] <+Roy_Calbeck> "Oh, just a reminder, I'm magically tapped right now. Could use some shuteye when we get a chance."
  48. [06:45] <@SilentBrony|GM> Sightseer furrows her brow and shakes her head saying with a mix of concern and seriousness, "Now, ah really don't recommend goin thar. If yer fixin on goin anyway, Ah'll tell you where tah go, but ah won't be leadin ya none. Too dangerous ah tell ya. Too many poor souls get lost. Sheeit, Ah heard once an entire battalion of New Pony Legion wandered there an jes... disappeared!"
  49. 08[06:46] * +Roy_Calbeck looks askance at Sightseer now. " 'Wandered'?"
  50. [06:46] <@SilentBrony|GM> Sightseer leans down and gives the colt a sweet kiss on his forehead smiling and says, "Ahlright Sageetus, thanks so much!"
  51. [06:46] <+Roy_Calbeck> "Battalions don't 'wander'. Somepony thought there's somethin' out there worth a major military redeployment over."
  52. 08[06:47] * +Sagittis shuffles a little. "Any time ma'am. Yet again, I am sorry." He turns and heads out to clear the mall out.

  56. [06:48] <@SilentBrony|GM> Sightseer looks to Roy_Calbeck and replies, "Maybe, but that should give ya all an idea in how dangerous that spot is. Everypony avoids it like it's irradiated. For all we know it is."
  57. [06:49] <@SilentBrony|GM> Sightseer turns to Green and looks in visible concern, "Holy Light is missing? Sheeit... that's not good ah'tall... she's a sweet mare... made good money too... helped bring in tourists."

  63. 12[06:52] * +Green nods at Sightseer. "Well she`d left her kid and he was hungry when he found me. Do you know if she had some special somepony that might trick her away from her family?"

I told them it's probably another M.A.C. project or something, but he said he found it weird that the M.A.C. would allow so many ghouls to wander to that site.   82. 12[07:00] * +Green mutters to herself and then looks to Roy_Calbeck. "Well, maybe if you tried not to sit out.." She then frowns and looks to the ground. "But you came in after all, so I guess you`re not as bad as i made you out to be."
  83. [07:00] <@SilentBrony|GM> Sagittis finds to his pleasure that the key indeed unlocks every ammo box. Yielding: Three Missiles, Two full tanks of flamer fuel, and a Balefire egg!

The worst part is, some of the ponies believed him, until I threw a vial of Dash on one of his supporters and let Radscorpion savagely beat him to death with his

  103. 08[07:09] * +Sagittis stashes the explosives and puts the flamer fule back in one of the boxes. Then he goes off to look for any other misc goodies or gear to fill out his saddle bags.
  104. 08[07:09] * +Dust_Off frowns, "Uh oh, Caine was the ambitious sort. Also calculating, we may have trouble with him again." She backs out of that option and selects the Assy Glass.

[07:11] <@SilentBrony|GM> Sightseer responds to Green, "Third family runs a caravan business, trading out chems and other medical supplies to the wastes, but they got hit real hard, losing a lot of caps in supplies... worst was when the daughtah of the family was killed in one of the caravans she was personally leading." the mare shakes her head and says, "Been downhill since then."

  131. [07:24] <@SilentBrony|GM> Sagittis last excursion leads him to a 'Star bucked' coffee shop where he finds lots of aged coffee supplies, such as coffee stirrers, broken mugs and cups. He does manage to find three empty bottles and two coffee cups... all the coffee pots are horribly mangled for some reason.

  134. 08[07:26] * +Sagittis tags those and waits by the front of the front of the mall, snuffling around for herbs while he waits.

  136. 08[07:26] * +Dust_Off turns on Green, "Says the mare who blabbed what got them to draw on you. Give it a rest, Green."

  138. [07:27] <@SilentBrony|GM> Right outside the mall itself, also yields no herbs.
  139. 12[07:28] * +Green Looks to Dust_Off and rolls her eyes. "Says who? They were nice folk. Why would they draw on us?"
  140. 08[07:28] * +Roy_Calbeck sits on his haunches, gives a great wide yawn, and waits patiently.
  141. 08[07:28] * +Sagittis shrugs, tries to find something to pass the time with.
  142. [07:29] <@SilentBrony|GM> Sightseer nods and replies to Dust_Off, "If ah had mah way, I'd put a bomb to the place and level it. Don't need more bad apples comin' round and given us guff." she then gets up and asks with a tone of relief, "We fixin on headin out? Ah' sorely miss mah paw."

  144. 08[07:29] * +Dust_Off looks between the two. "Let's go to the guard post inside the mall and rest for a little, then head to town." The mare turns and heads back out towards the entrance.
  145. 08[07:29] * +Roy_Calbeck nods, gets up off his duff, and follows.
  146. 08[07:30] * +Sour_Grape mutters something about giant ants in her sleep
  147. 08[07:30] * +Roy_Calbeck gives Sour a little nuzzle. Poor kid.
  148. 08[07:31] * +Dust_Off also cranes her head about nuzzle Grape. Poor kleptofilly.
  149. 08[07:32] * +Sagittis sets his 9 mm rounds in the other two ammo boxes, 13 each and closes them. He sets the boxes down next to him and waits for the party to get there.
  150. [07:32] <@SilentBrony|GM> Sightseer follows the group as they head off to find the guard post. The desert guide mare speaks, "Ah thought a spotted a furniture store inside heah. Might be on the first floor if ah remember right."
  151. 08[07:32] * +Roy_Calbeck snorts. "Ain't carryin' a desk back."
  152. 08[07:33] * +Dust_Off looks back at Sightseer, "But Furniture
  153. [07:33] <+Dust_Off> means comfort."
  154. 12[07:33] * +Green follows Sightseer, and looks towards Dust_Off and the others. "Why would there be forniture left?"
  155. [07:34] <@SilentBrony|GM> Indeed their activites in rescuing the mare and killing the mercenaries has taken much time. Revealing outside to be night time.
  156. [07:34] <@SilentBrony|GM> Sightseer shrugs and says, "Ah don't know if there still is or not, just thought ah'd throw that out there for y'all."
  157. [07:35] <+Roy_Calbeck> "Well, if we're stayin' th' night, can't hurt if there's still some good beds left."
  158. 08[07:35] * +Dust_Off looks back at Green, "A new chaise lounge isn't as important in a survival situation." She looks at Sightseer, "Lead on, Miss."
  159. 12[07:35] * +Green looks confused. "But wouldn`t there be some kind of bed that the emperor scorpion used? Some kind of big thing that was only his because he was emperor?"
  160. [07:36] <+Dust_Off> "Emperor was an incorrectly named mare, Green." The mare shakes her head.
  161. [07:36] <@SilentBrony|GM> Sagittis can see outside the entrance of the mall by the way, the smoldered remains of various carriages that looked like either they exploded or several high-yield explosives went off in the parking lot right outside. Burnt scrap debris scattered everywhere.

  163. 12[07:37] <+Green> "But we still havent killed a giant scorpion emperor.." Green frowns and loons to Sagittis for help.

[07:38] <@SilentBrony|GM> Sightseer leads the group to the furniture store, but unfortunately the group notices that the beds and sofas have been rotted and oxidized to uselessness long ago.. debris from the ceiling smashing a lot of the furniture inside. The mare frowns and says, "Way-ell shiet... don't that just beat all?"

  166. 12[07:40] <+Green> "That was pretty likely." Green checks Sagittis`s loot and finds two cans of flamer fuel. "I can take these right? What even is that?" She utters and points at the leather.
  167. 08[07:40] * +Dust_Off sighs, "Wouldn't you know it. ." Dusty looks around the store for anything useful.

"Cuz every small filly and colt no matter how much cooties they`ve got gotta learn about science."

I really miss her." he looks at the book then back up and asks, "C-Can you read this too me?"

  1082. 12[14:00] <+Green> "Vodka?" Green smiles at Sagittis. "Its good for bad moods. I`d rather share one though."
  1083. 08[14:00] * +Sagittis blinks repeatedly at Green... What drugs would somepony need to take to live in her world? "Um... I've never had alchohol before."
  1084. [14:00] <@SilentBrony|GM> Daffodil looks really confused as she's hugged. She pats Green on the pat and says in a fairly perplexed tone, "Oookay.. I don't know about bats, but I'll show you both to the room you'll be sharing tonight." She then gasps at Green's offer of alcohol and says, "Miss Green! He's a colt! You really shouldn't be giving colts alcohol!"

There is an old rug, that is stained but looks as if it's been attempted to be cleansed. Daffodil gives the key to Green and says cheerfully, "If you both need anything in the night, Gertie can help you!"
  1097. 08[14:09] * +Dust_Off picks up the foal and places Grape on her back. She takes the parcel, ashamed and embarrassed. "Mister...Smooth, it is not you. It's just i can't be a medic and treat someone I love. I have to make hard decisions, and clouded by emotions I can get a lot of ponies killed."

  1100. 12[14:10] * +Green enters the room daffodil opened and inspects the room. "Theres just one thing i wanted to ask you Sagittis. Will you follow with us to Dust? Because we might be doing a side stop with our guide to try and locate the mother of a foal that this inkeeper is taking care of."

[14:13] <@SilentBrony|GM> The band of ponies look bewildered that SmoothJazz has suddenly jumped on their stage as they play their instruments... but being musicians they continue to play in the spirit of the show, wondering what the hell this... strangely cool dressed stallion was going to do?

  1110. 08[14:17] * +Dust_Off listens to Jazz's tune. She slips over to Daffodil and negotiates a room for Grape and her.
  1111. [14:17] <@SilentBrony|GM> The band of ponies are amazed at how incredibly skilled this apparent jazz musician was. The ponies nearby stop and stare in awe at the song playing.

Then she turns to Dust_Off and giggles saying, "Of course!" she then flattens her ears somewhat and says, "I'm sure sorry to have to do this, but I have to charge you 40 caps for the room. But you both can sleep in ther if you want!"

  1123. [14:21] <+Dust_Off> bag and takes...ALLL HER CAPS! No, just twenty and then Dusty matches it with her own.
  1124. 08[14:23] * +Sagittis shrugs and folds his armor. "Aparently."
  1125. 12[14:23] * +Green leaps into the bed with a geronimo and tumbles to a side after having listened to the enthralling saxophone beat. "You got the other side." She mutters while grinding her head into her side of the pillow.
  1126. [14:23] <@SilentBrony|GM> Daffodil takes the caps and smiles wide saying, "Thank you! Let me show you both to your room!" She then turns, her thick blonde tail swishing about, as she gets a key from behind the barcounter and leads the two up the stairs, trotting past two doors, one Roy's, the other the ambigously strange duo. Until she goes to a third door and proceeds to unlock and open it.
  1127. 08[14:24] * +Sagittis lays down on the rug.
  1128. 08[14:25] * +Roy_Calbeck snoozles contentedly.
  1129. 12[14:25] * +Green `s body eventually goes into whatever mode as the mature filly begins to roll all over most of the bed and wrestling imaginary foes.
  1130. 08[14:26] * +Dust_Off looks at Smooth-jazz one last time and walks up stairs. She follows Daffodil, "I understand paying just fine. You have to stay open. Good night, darling." Dusty walks and lays Grape down on the bed.
  1131. 08[14:26] * +Sour_Grape as soon as they are alone she takes out Gwyen to cuddle with. She didn't really want dusty seeing her all foalish, but it would help make Dusty forget her executions and mint-al question, and reduce her nightmares. So it was a win.
  1132. 08[14:26] * +Sagittis looks over and has clearly made the right choice.
  1133. 08[14:27] * +SmoothJazz winks at Dust_Off as she heads up.
  1134. [14:27] <@SilentBrony|GM> Daffodil smiles and says to Dust_Off, "If you need anything during the night Gertie can help!" she notices that Dust_Off seems sad and asks, "Are you okay Miss Dust_Off?"
  1135. 08[14:29] * +SmoothJazz continues to play with the coolest band around! He enters the solo and its like he takes off, flying through the sky! This is what the music was all about! The thoughts of killing, and dirty jobs just fade away, replaced by the music. This is what made him fall in love with music, this is what sculpted him into what he was today. Music...was his destiny...
  1136. 08[14:29] * +Dust_Off sighs as she gets sleepy Grape out of her barding. "Old ghost that won't rest, Daffodil. Old ghosts."
  1137. 08[14:30] * +Sour_Grape is displeased with being undressed. So whiny. "Foguht'a ghost once. C'n kill'em 'gain if ya shoot 'nough."
  1138. [14:30] <@SilentBrony|GM> Daffodil flattens her ears and says in a compassionate tone, "Oh I'm so sorry miss Dust_Off. I hope tomorrow is better for you." sighing she turns and says, "Pleasant dreams." then closes the door and starts heading off, having given the room key to Dust_Off.
  1139. 08[14:32] * +Dust_Off takes off her barding and climbs into bed. She looks a the unopened parcel and rolls away from it and falls asleep. After a time.
  1140. 08[14:32] * +Sour_Grape falls asleep curled up with Gwyen. She made a mental note to ask what was up with Dust_Off later
  1141. [14:34] <@SilentBrony|GM> Thus another day and night has passed in the scorched and brutal lands of the Mareizona. Though raging bloodshed and turmoil occur elsewhere. In the eye of the storm, our intrepid group manage to pawn off their goods and make a nice payload from their recent mission, freeing Glassy Flats from another torrential menace.
  1142. [14:36] <@SilentBrony|GM> What of Carriage Jack however? Will they find Holy Light in Dune? Or SmoothJazz? Gaining one companion, has this group lost another? What will happen in the following days to come... surely they will be nowhere as peaceful as what just passed. Only time will tell on the next installments of, Star Group Fallout Equestria!
