How can i help with #OpSafeWiner

Ever wonder "How I can help with #OpSafeWinter?"  Anyone can help, even in the smallest of ways.  What seems small to you may be a lifesaver for someone else.  Don't ignore those who are experiencing homelessness, say a kind word.  Don't walk past other humans, talk to them.  Remember, humans are NOT invisible and ignoring a situation because it makes you uncomfortable just perpetuates a social problem.

Here is a small list of items that are always needed.  You can donate to a shelter or directly to those you see in need.

Winter and weather gear (such as hats, mittens, coats, and boots)
Small hygiene items (like the type of items you get at hotels, small containers of shampoo, toothpaste, small bars of soap, toothbrush, etc.) most dollar stores carry these items.
Socks
First aid items (such as anti-bacteria ointment, Band-Aids, hand sanitizers, )
Secondary medical items (such as sunscreen, lotions, lip balm, allergy medication and tissues)
Bus passes (great for helping them get to job interviews)
Books
Backpacks
