  1. NUEL, National University eSports League, wants to offer you the opportunity to win the UK's only university league in competitive gaming. We want to see your university take part in our first season so you can not only prove you're the brightest, but the best gamers in the country.
  2. Our aim is to provide a basis for competitive gaming in universities to not only grow but to become more structured with inter-university competition.
  3. So, what's in it for you?
  4. There are loads of gamers hiding away in the dark corners of halls, give them a reason to join your society, escape their pits and join in with more social gaming that has a purpose.
  5. These guys and the rest of the gamers wanting to play for their university will generate more cash for your society. More cash means your society can buy more shiny things and enjoy bigger and better social events and LAN's (or you could spend it all on alcohol)
  6. We will keep the NUEL community up-to-date and make sure that our message gets across to the wider gaming community by using our site and the forums on there, the latest social networking craze and staying old skool with IRC. Whilst NUEL is getting noticed, your society will get its fair share of that attention.
  7. Okay, tell me more about NUEL
  8. NUEL is an organisation that's providing your university the chance to compete against other universities from across the UK on some of the best competitive gaming titles for the PC. We are going to be running a seasonal, semi-professional tournament that caters for students, which will allow more gamers to enjoy the competitive side of online gaming.
  9. We want to make competitive gaming more accessible for the Joe Public gamer and we believe that this can be done with the help of your society and our administration of the league. We will do our part by providing the servers to play on, good communication and tournaments that people want to be involved with.
  10. Does it come with a cost?
  11. To register a game it'll cost your society £20 to take part for a season. On top of the benefits you'll get for being a member of NUEL, your society will be getting a seasons entrance to the league and any other cups or related competitions.
  12. Sounds awesome, where do I go now?
  13. Visit our website at www.thenuel.com and let us know if you're interested or got any questions at our forums http://www.thenuel.com/forum You will find someone hanging out at our IRC channel #nuel on quakenet if you want a chat, or you can email us at [email protected]
  14. Best Regards,
  15.
