Ah, my first GDQ rejection. Idk, honestly I've always thought it was borderline nonsensical that I got my other games in in the past but you give it a shot and sometimes things work out and sometimes they don't. Rusty is definitely the only run I've submitted that takes serious skill though so it's funny to me that that's the one that gets turned down. It's essentially a super obscure Castlevania clone and we already have plenty of actual CVs (even if one of them is Dracula X lmao) and stuff like Issyos to fill it in so there's clearly more competition for it compared to something like Spica which comes across as one-of-a-kind.

In the end, I'm incredibly grateful that I got to support the marathons as I did and maybe I'll support it that way again in the future. Maybe we'll see Paris Dakar, maybe we'll see Tryrush Deppy and I'll continue to push Rusty. Instead, my support will be for my friends and the various obscure runs I'd like to push out into the open.

On the plus side, this frees up a lot of time for me and I plan to take advantage of it with all sorts of fun little projects and casual games and sleeping.
