R.A.D. Call to Action

Radicals Against Discrimination, an autonomous anarchist collective, is calling for a syndicalist bloc on the above date / time. We will march in downtown Chicago against racist austerity measures imposed on us by the ruling-classes. The closures of public schools are a direct attack on the working classes while suppressing democracy and ignoring the will of people. RAD believes the laborers, who struggle under Capitalism, are the only ones whom should control the conditions of their labor. These attacks
are done purely on class/race lines in Chicago. 88% of the schools marked for closure are in African-American neighborhoods. RAD stands firmly against racism and classism in our societies and will be organizing to fight back. Furthermore, by closing our schools, CPS is exposing children to violence due to the nature of mass migration. Fear of violence is, by itself, a form of violence and we will push back on this as a means of practical, non-violent, self-defense for our society. This will be
the first of many actions RAD will participate in.

We will march against CPS and their policies as an show of Solidarity with the community, parents, and students. Bring black and red flags if you have them. We will rally at the above time and then march over to the main march.
