Marching Band Thingy Timeline

Last night was AWESOME! I went to play with the local marching band at a high-strung football game (the two main high schools (there's 1 tiny project school here) were up against each other) and we had a lot of fun! Here's a timeline:

1. Practiced stuff in the band room (fight songs, cheers, Star Spangled Banner).

2. Marched out to the field.
	a. Played school fight song.
	b. Started playing Star Spangled Banner. There was this crazy group of fans in the home bleachers that wouldn't shut up for a full minute when the announcer asked for a moment of silence for the emergency services. A little after that, we played. I SWEAR, THE TRUMPETS WERE LOUDER THAN ANYTHING ELSE (and I'm an alto sax player)!
3. Went up into the bleachers and sat down with marching band. Talked with 2 marching band students on either side of me.
4. WE GOT TO PLAY THE JAWS THEME
	a. Then the poopholes up in the announcer's box started using the movie version and I seriously considered flipping them off. THEY DID THIS 5 FREAKING TIMES
5. Played a bunch of cheers (if you have MuseScore, look at http://pny.lv/4e7m for the best cheer IMO) .
6. Marching band left the bleachers and played the first and second movements of their awesome show down on the field.
7. Everyone went inside and grabbed a couple slices of Papa John's. The stuff actually isn't that bad.
8. My father picked me up and drove me home.
