Greetings, Republic.

It is sad that in such a short timespan, a second election must be held due to one of our leader's inability to contain themselves and act appropriately in public, and yet here we are. I write this post to put my name forth in contention of Fahrer's seat on the Senate. If not me, then it is my hope that at least another will step forward to run in this election as well.

Why Fahrer, and not Zenigra? - Some may wonder, to this my answer is simple. Fahrer does not act as a Senator should, he is simply a hindrance to the Republic's progress, should he remain on the Senate.

The first, and more lesser scenario regarding his inaction was with Theophilus. The Senate waited for months on Fahrer's vote, only for him to conveniently vanish, not wanting to deal with the situation simply because he was Theophilus' friend, only to suddenly start waking again once the entire debacle was resolved and done away with. Petty.

The second, and much more prominent situation regarding Fahrer is what I would like to make note of. During the month of Artificium 82 AM, Fahrer decided he would run his mouth not even a month after Kryss and co. cost our Republic over a million gold worth of damages, telling Khizan that he would destroy Antioch, Ithaqua and all of their townes for what they did.

Normally he would be well within his right to say this, except the city was still recovering from the assault no less than a month before, without even allowing the chance for our guards to be fully equipped to handle another attack. This led to yet another significant amount of casualties and gold lost, due to a citizen's ego getting to them. On top of this, he caused further damage to both the city, and its morale, by proceeding to go mindless immediately after the raid started, only bothering to come to his senses once enemies started falling. This is simply disgraceful behaviour. To make matters even worse, Fahrer then ruined guard placement and closed our city gates, allowing Shou to kill the gatekeeper to prevent the gates from being reopened, and slain defenders from being able to return to the city. Afterwards he opted to just call it a day and go to sleep, without so much as a word to the rest of the defenders involved, the gates closed for close to three days until the Empress woke and was able to have them opened again.

So I pose this question to you, Stavenn. Is this the kind of person you would fancy continuing to lead you? I may be young, but that hasn't stopped Lords Zenigra and Ario from putting their faith in me, appointing me to Dreadlord of the Revenants, as well as Artificer and a Representative of the Sect of the Unspeakable. I simply ask all of you to do the same, if not that, then have the courage to at least step up and put your name forth in this election. If you choose the former, then I will promise to give it my all, and do my best to not let any of you down.
