	Saturday night could not have come fast enough for Marco. He thought he'd be nervous, and well he was but he was also excited much more excited then he was nervous. The day went by very slowly, but now it was almost time to pick up the woman that may very well be his future wife. He had actually worried about his outfit for hours, he had never felt like less of a man then when he agonized over what jeans go with what shirt but you gotta make sacrifices to look like a ten out of ten. Marco was also not sure where exactly they were going to go, he was so focused on actually scoring the date he forgot to throw out a suggestion for a place. The die is cast however, hopefully, Jackie won't dress formally either and they can just go to a movie or something, but if he must he will take her to the fanciest restaurant in town...that can give them a meal for under 35 bucks because that's all Marco has on him, at this rate his crossing his fingers that Jackie won't want a large bag of popcorn if they go the movies he may not be able to afford it.

Marco looked at his watch it was time for him to get going, as he put on his new hoodie a blue one because he thought it would match Jackie's blue streak on her hair. He didn't zip it up however trying to go for that yeah I'm too cool to zip up my hoodie even though its a cold night look; Marco would be surprised if Jackie doesn't try to make love to him the second she lays on him. He gave himself a final once-over in the mirror, adjusting his hair and his wrist watch when there was a knock on the door.

"Yeah come in" Marco shouted.

Door swung open and in came Star with the laser puppies by her feet, Marco was a little weirded out normally she doesn't even knock she burst into his room when she wants with our without a lock; one of these days she's going to see something  she's going to regret Marco was sure of it.

"Awww you look handsome," Star said walking over to Marco.

"Thanks Star" Marco said appreciating her compliment. The laser puppies all crowded around Marco blasting at his knee's and nibbling his sneakers.

"Do a twirl for me like if you were wearing your princess dress when we went to break out pony head from Saint O's" Star asked excitedly.

"Uhh no didn't do it when you asked me then, not gonna do it now...and you promised we would never speak of that day again" Marco replied.

Star giggled and approached Marco, she grabbed both ends of his new hoodie and zipped them up partially.

"There that's better if you ask me, and by the way you should be glad not many guys can pull off the beautiful princess look, the dashing Knight AND whatever you call this look, you truly are a man of many talents" Star mused.

Marco turned to look at himself in the mirror, he did look better with the hoodie sort of zipped. "I'm not sure how I feel about the beautiful princess thing but thank you again for the other compliments," Marco told Star as he picked up a laser puppy, Star did the same.

"Aww someone is going to miss daddy while he's gone isn't he, isn't he?" Star whispered to the puppy she was holding rubbing its stomach, Marco just rolled his eyes.

"Oh c'mon will you stop telling them I'm their dad, I like them and all but they follow me everywhere as it is even when I'm in the bathroom," Marco replied massaging the puppy he was holding, he should have been annoyed but he couldn't help but smile.

Star put the puppy she was holding near Marco's face and it licked Marco's nose. "Hey you started it, I came into the room a few weeks ago and I found you playing with them but before I came in I clearly heard you saying who's a good boy? that's right its you Marco Jr."

Marco blushed and rubbed the back of his neck. "I uhh well he is a good boy!" Yeah, Marco had no comeback for that.

Star laughed, "So is that Marco Jr you are holding?"

"No, you have Marco Jr I got-" Marco turned the puppy so he could see its face "Starlight"

"Awwww, was it suppose to be a reference to me?" Star asked very excitedly.

Marco gave her a smirk. "Hey don't flatter yourself too much, they are technically your's after all I figured its only fair I name one after you too...but you can call them whatever you want I guess"

Marco put down Starlight. "I gotta go Star, I'll talk to you later ok?"

Star looked up from rubbing Marco Jr. belly. "Yeah ok bye...good luck on your date Marco, I mean it".

"Won't let you down boss" Marco replied running out the door and down the stairs.

Star raised Marco Jr up to her face, the other puppies bolted after Marco.

"Why do I have a feeling you are the only Marco I'm going to be seeing lately?" She asked the pup in a slightly sad tone. Marco Jr just tilted his head in confusion before licking her cheek.

'Woah Woah hold on your mom wants pictures" Marco's father shouted as soon as Marco appeared downstairs.

"Dad please I gotta go, it's not like I'm going to prom"

"Yeah I know if it was your prom your mother would have hired a camera crew to document the whole thing by now," said his father half serious. "Honey you got the camera yet? he has to go" he shouted to his wife in the kitchen.

Marco knew if he didn't let this happen now his mother would stalk him and Jackie all night. A few seconds later Mrs. Diaz appeared with the camcorder.

"And this is Marco getting ready to go on his first date with his dream girl Janna Lynn Thomas," Mrs. Diaz said trying to get close ups of Marco.

"JACKIE!! MOM HER NAME IS JACKIE" Marco shouted agitated as all hell.

"Well sorry but then I thought you also liked a Janna and they both start with a J"

Marco's face palmed so hard it hurt him physically.

"No No baby I've told you before Jackie is the girl HE stalks, Janna is the girl who stalks HIM" Mr. Diaz corrected his wife, how he knows these things is beyond him when its Star and his wife who gossip.

"Fine fine ok, Jackie Lynn Thomas whatever" Mrs. Diaz replied circling Marco like a bird of prey while still filming. "And these are his and Star's pets coming to say goodbye to Marco...wait I think were missing one"

Marco opened the front door, he either had to leave now or wait for his mom to get a green screen so they could act out key moments of his life together.

"Star has Marco Jr, uhm I mean Star has one with her upstairs, bye mom and dad I'll be back before 11" Marco said as he slammed the door closed.

"Wait I want to get some footage of Star saying goodbye to you" Mrs. Diaz shouted through the living room window but Marco was already on his bike and had disspeared into the night.

"Oh honey let it go, he wants that jackie girl end of story what did you think would happen Star would confess some secret love for him?" Mr. Diaz asked his wife.

"Well no but I was hoping that-"

"Let it go, watch she'll be a good influence on him and vice versa now come over here and watch Sabado Gigante with me or write emberssasing fan fiction and post it online...your choice"

Mrs. Diaz sat down next to her husband in defeat. "Ok but only because someone called me an autistic gayboy last time I tried"


Jackie didn't live far from the Diaz's house. This worked great for Marco because he would be on time and not work up much of a sweat, and mercifully it was a cool and breezy night. Not a cloud in the sky, and full moon was coming over the horizon Marco took this as a good luck sign. Eventually he reached his destination, he was begenning to wonder if he should have brought flowers or something. It's just their first date he didn't want to come off TOO strong but maybe now he's not coming on strong enough? "whatever" marco thought, he told himself he wouldn't over think this stuff anymore whatever happens, happens.

"Hey, wait right there I'll be right out" a voice came from above.

Marco looked up and saw jackie wave at him from the second floor of her house most likely her bedroom. Marco smiled and waved back at her. Inside Jackie picked up her small purse and swung it over her shoulder, she took deep breaths hoping to calm her nerves and headed downstairs. Her parents would have tried to take pictures and grill Marco so she told them she would pick him up at his house, last thing she needs right now is her parents scaring him off so quickly. She opened the closet on the side of her stairs and took out her skateboard but then decided to leave it, she was going to try something else she's always wanted to do.

A few seconds later out came jackie and greeted Marco who was still on the side walk. She stopped a few feet from him, unsure how to greet him, all Marco could think off was how amazing she looked.

"Hey" Marco spoke first.

"hey" Jackie repeated.

"You look nice" they said at the same time. They both laughed, probabaly sensing each others nerves.

"Guess blue is our color tonight" Jackie replied with a smile.

"Yeah I uhm picked it because I thought it would match that cute blue streak on your hair" Marco replied feeling somehwhat surprised at his openess of his staement.

"Really?" Jacke said with a slight blush. "i-I was going to go with a red top thinking you were going to wear your red hoodie to do the same thing but I thought that it might be wierd"

Jackie's opened her eyes wide and got flustred. "I Mean not..uh not that I think what your doing is wierd no not at all It's really thoughtful actually just meant that you are braver then me thats all"

Jackie put her hands to her face. "Oh my god Thomas shut up your messing it up" she thought to herelf.

Marco laughed a little, "Its Ok I know what you meant, I was worried too but now I'm glad I made the right move...and you look great in any color Jackie I spent most of the day just to come up with what you see here"

They took a few steps closer to each other. "Your effort paid off...Justin Timberlake isn't the only guy who can bring sexy back." Jackie said touching the unzipped part of his hoodie.

Marco almost fainted, but kept his cool. "I may have brought sexy back, but you are the one making it stay."

Jackie face turned bright red and she giggled, Marco smiled man he is actually getting pretty good at this flirt thing he thought.

"So want to get going?" Marco asked. "I know this chinese place thta has good food...that is if you want" he added.

"Sure sounds good to me, oh and at the small amphitheater at the echo creek park they get local bands to play there on saturdays so maybe we can go there too?" Jackie asked in return.

"Ok perfect chinese food and music, were totally gonna get rickety rickety rekt tonight" Marco said happily.

"Haha I love Rick and Morty"

Marco hopped on his bike. "Uh oh you should not have said that now i'm going to be doing impersonations all night"

"I look" Jackie forced herself to burp, "forward to it",  both of them laughed.

"Ok then, I'll wait for you get your skateboard and you can skitch on my bike the whole way"

Jackie rubbed her arm, "Actually this is kinda embersassing but I broke a wheel this morning, is it ok if I ride on your bike with you?"

"Oh yeah sure, it might be a little uncofrtable though" Marco replied scooching himself up on the seat.

"Its ok I don't mind" Jackie replied getting on.

"Just hold on to something, the chinese place is on the other side of town and that means going down that really steep hill a few blocks down the road." Marco cautioned her even though both had helmets.

"No problem safe kid"

Marco turned his head and gave Jackie a an angry look.

"I'm kidding, besides I think its sweet that you care about things like that"

"You are so lucky I like you or else I'd be very annoyed right now" Marco said with a chuckle and began to peddle.

Jackie wrapped her arms around Marco's waist and held onto him.

"Really? I like you too"
