  6. Trash Talking in Alliance Chat/Local[edit]
  7. Harassing, linking pornography or anything which could be seen as offensive, is against CCP's EULA and will also be dealt with on the alliance level on a case by case bases. This includes all chat channels to include local chat.
  8. Respect one another in public channels, alliance chat/local, or take it to a private chat. No one wants to read your arguments.
  9. We are in the same alliance. Act like it!
  10. We know there are situations when stuff gets hot everywhere, we won't hold your temper against you, if you are able to take a step back when called out. This is one of the rules which will probably not get you removed from FCON unless you are an excessive troll who gets off spamming profanities or slurs, but a rule with specific consequences. Violating this rule carries a fine of no less than 100 million ISK. If you cannot be civil, it will not be free or cheap in the long run.
  11. There is another step up the ladder from this: Some people take it too far or even intentionally instigate drama or personal problems regardless of communication. The Diplomats will decide if someone has gone too far and there will be more strict consequences. Normal penalties involve:
  12. 1st offense: 500 million fine and a 5 day gag in alliance chat/general forums.
  13.
  14. 2nd offense (or a very over the top 1st offense): 1 billion ISK fine and a 30 day gag in both alliance chat and general forums.
  15.
  16. 3rd or further offenses: 3 billion ISK fine with 30 day gags, or removal from the alliance, depending on the form of offense and time period since last infraction.
  17.
  18. If you break the gag orders, your fine will be doubled, and doubled again for each further breach.
  19.
  20. Gag orders do not stop you from giving intel, fleet information, and data necessary to accomplish any alliance duties you may need to perform. The gag order is to give you time to cool down and prevent another flare up of whatever form of drama was caused.
  21.
  22. Fines exist to allow those who cause drama to cover the costs of everyone else's enjoyment of the alliance. If you want to ruin that enjoyment, you can help make it better. If you cannot pay the fine there will be ways to make up for it, failure to do so will be seen as unwillingness to follow alliance rules.
  23. If any party involved wishes to publicly apologize for their own actions, they will be allowed to do so without it being considered a breach of either gag order. You will still need to live in the alliance with the person who you had an issue with in the end, so best to try to fix things instead of letting them fester.
